In the Victorian era, a simple bouquet of flowers was often anything but simple. Ascribed particular meanings, flowers frequently carried messages between lovers and those who knew the code.

This community is devoted to the Victorian flower language.

My goal, or the purpose of this community, is to present a flower per week, word-of-the-day style, and also to serve as a forum for anyone similarly interested in the topic!
