This is a community to talk freely about religion. ALL religion. Or the lack there-of. Everyone is welcome.
PLEASE, respect each other. If opinions differ, discussion is encouraged, but no spamming or insults. Trolls will not be tolerated - don't pick fights. We are all different, so respect those differences and this can be a great community and a positive learning environment.
So, no proselytizing or religion bashing. Thank you. Also, as this is to be a community for communication, PLEASE do not post anything with the comments disabled. Again, thank you.
With recent events, I'm going to try clarifying things a little. I want this to be a place of both information and discussion. Sharing info, articles and links that provide information about a particular religion is wonderful, especially if it helps outsiders understand. Keying us in on big religious/faith events is cool too. BUT... while links and articles to sites that are aimed at a particular group are welcome, please be considerate and put links and articles that are only of interest to one particular faith or path under an LJ-cut (how to here), so that those who are not interested may skim over it. Not sure? Be safe and cut it.
Inquisitive natures a plus. Open minds are a must.
