Because of last night's hubbub over at daniel_vala(whatever that was all about). I did something I've been considering for quite a while (long before last night's er...events) another Daniel/Vala community. I personally don't agree with the No Michael and/or Claudia chatter thing, because without them we wouldn't have the Daniel and Vala we all know and love. I understand though the both of them wanting to keep their personal lives private, so we will. but anything having to do with their SG-1 characters is totally open. And so I present fruitcakes_un (Fruitcakes Unbound, yes I've been calling them that too, personally, for ages as well)

Anyway about the "Michael and Claudia" thing I can see icons of them (as long as as the icon post had D/V icons as well) No Real-Person Fic at all. All other fic is welcomed behind an LJ-cut or other links, as long as the summary is above the cut so people can read it before the choose to or not to read the fic.

D/V-ness of any nature is allowed. This includes fanmixes (please make sure to Friends-lock the entry though or it will be deleted.), icons, fanfiction, fan music videos and discussion. No community promos at all, they will be deleted on the spot unless you have my permission and the MUST be Daniel/Vala related, no exceptions.

If any particular entry is more than a couple of paragraphs put the rest of it behind the cut so people won't be telepathically trying to kill you for a long post (I've seen quite a few of those at daniel_vala that made me want to do just that, in the past) I have no quarrel at all with daniel_vala , I just thought it would be nice to give people an alternative place to post if they feel a wee bit uncomfortable over there. I hope though that fruitcakes_un will be every bit as popular. That and I think there is way too much Daniel/Vala Fruitcake-y love for just one community to hold.

As of this moment/second it looks kind of bare but I hope to change that soon. So please please please be patient with me and feel free to post in the meantime.
