I have a friend who is having a HUGE issue with ODST.

When you play the campaign.. the first item you find is the helmet in the video screen, when you go to pull it out you get a blue screen and disc read error. also, he can only play 2 maps of firefight without getting a disc read error.

His XBOX is from 08/06 and he has a 120 gig HD. He has had more than one copy of the game also.

We have used his disc in our xbox Manufacture date 06/06 and husband's 120 harddrive, works fine.

We have used it with my xbox from 08 and my 20 harddrive, works fine.

I have save files from Halo 3 but only offline campaign from my son who's file isnt registered on XBL.

My friend has all the info possible from Halo 3, all the maps and everything.

He deleted them, still didn't work. He downloaded teh game to his Harddrive and it still didnt work.

This is about all the info I have on the subject. He is extremely pissed to say the least. He has been reading posts over at bungie, (80 pages of complaints similar), without finding any sort of solution.

I was hoping maybe someone knows what I am talking about and has a new suggestion. Maybe even a solution.

I am in a gamer challenge!!

Who can get the most gamer score in 30 days. Its started Monday and I am currently leading with over 2000 points.

I have played Disney Sing It, both Scene It!'s, and I beat Legendary in 2 days. I finished up some piddly acheivements in my arcade games. Then I won Magic the Gathering (thank you Trina and GA) and am playing that. I think next I will play Jericho.

Last Sunday there was an awesome sale at Best Buy. They had a ton of games for $10.

Obviously I have kids, but I will partake in all acheivements possible lol

whats a good, active text (preferably chat based) RPG out there? I've been on Macabre Point, but its not very active lately. I used to play in the AOL rp chats, but I don't have AOL anymore so I don't think I can access them.

I just started playing again (used to play it when it first came out) and am wondering what in your opinion is the best combo? I'm in Besaid right now.

My usual combo
Yuna: White mage / black mage
Rikku: warrior
Paine: warrior

What do you guys like, what's your strategy, and why?

After three weeks of waiting I finally got the return package from Mr. Softy I'd been waiting for: my Xbox 360 which had gone kerplunk all of a sudden while I was getting set for another run at the big bank heist mission in GTA IV. Not to sound spoiled or anything, but even though I've both a PS3 and a Wii, and some games for both, the 360 was quite conspicuous by its absence. As I signed for it, the UPS guy asked if I were glad to get my Xbox back. I asked how he knew and he said he'd done enough such deliveries to know, and I knew better than to argue with that.

My original console, incidentally, was replaced with a different one, so when I fired it up I got all the Xbox virgin tutorials and shit, plus I had to tweak things like the resolution and the time zone, as it first thought I lived in London. Once everything was back to normal, though, I was READY to get back with it. I donwloaded the Fallout 3 and Fable II missions almost immediately, then got back to Rock Band 2 with a vengeance. Foo Fighters were never so much fun to play, especially Monkey Wrench.

As in, acing PDA by Interpol with the guitar on hard type vengeance. It's a shame there wasn't an achievement I coulda unlocked with that 1,027 note streak. But yeah, I was in a zone, enough that I managed my way through the big rock god challenge in Shanghai or where ever. Eight songs on hard-level bass that left me tired but glad that my right arm got a decent workout for a change.

Mind you, I'm still committed to finishing the storyline missions on GTA IV for the PS3 in under 30 hours for the trophy that begets, plus Fallout 3 is fixed for trophies, but come on...the 360's where my heart (and my Lego-based games) is at, so to speak.
