Materials and Methods: Fish were sampled and treated in 4 aquariums containing the concentration ranges of 1, 5, 20 and 100 ppm of CuO NPs. There was one control group (no CuO NPs) and three replicates. The physicochemical properties of water were as follows: the temperature was 22±2 Cº, oxygen saturation was 90.9±0.2%, pH was at 7±0.004 and the concentration of CaCO 3 was 270. Results: No mortality was observed after 96 hours of exposure. The analysis of hematological parameters showed that CuO NPs affected the counts of white blood cells, lymphocytes, eosinophils, neutrophils, hematocrits, MCH, MCHC and MCV and did not have any effects on monocytes and hemoglobins. Conclusion: The data showed that the overall hardness (270 ppm) neutralized the lethal effect of copper on O. mykiss and no mortality was recorded.

Excessive use of pesticides caused risk for human health and threated non-target organisms, polluted water, soil and air. Hinosan is a component of organophosphate pesticide which is used as a fungicide in agricultural fields. In the study, lethal concentration (LC 50 ) of Hinosan was calculated for Rutilus frisii kutum and Rutilus rutilus caspicus with a mean weight of 3 ± 1 g [mean ± SD]. The experiment were carried out in static condition and based on instructions of O.E.C.D in four days under controlled water physicochemical factors with pH = 7 to 8.5, dissolved oxygen = 200 mg L -1 (CaCO 3 ) and temperature = 20 ± 1°C. Fishes were acclimatized in 70x40x30 cm aquarium for 10 days. Five treated aquariums with concentration ranges 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 ppm of hinosan (Technical 95 Edifenphos) with one control group (no toxic concentration), were performed. Data were analysed using the probit analysis. LC 1 , LC 10 , LC 30 , LC 50 , LC 70 , LC 90 and LC 99 were calculated in 24, 48, 72 and 96 h. Our results indicate that LC50 96 h hinosan for R. frisii Kutum and R. rutilus caspicus were obtained 3.61 and 2.88 ppm, respectively. These findings suggest that hinosan is medium toxicity for these two species. Clinical symptoms including irregular protrusion of the eyes and irregular swimming were observed.

For this reason, concerns about the risks and consequences of this element in water contamination are arising. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of water-born CuO (Copper (II) oxide) on the rainbow trout, Oncorhynchus mykiss gill tissue to establish a suitable biomarker for copper in water resources. Samples with 18±3g body weight were exposed to CuO for a week with 0.0125, 0.037, 0.075, and 0.15 ppm of copper sulfate and a control group (without CuO). Physicochemical properties of water were 15±2ºC, pH 7-8, Caco3 270mg/l and oxygen saturation 90.9±0.2%. At the end of 7 days, 9 fish were caught randomly from each treatment and second gill from left side of fish were removed for histological study. Hyperplasia, oedema, epithelial lifting in secondary lamella and lamellar aneurysm were observed in gill tissues, showing that CuO, as a copper ion, has significant adverse effects on gill tissues of rainbow trout and gills can be a suitable biomarker for copper in water resources.

Samples were taken by the swept area method and trawl net with 2 cm mesh size in the cod end from January 2010 to February 2011. Results showed that the sex ratio deviated from 1:1 and female's number were significantly higher than males. Metapenaeus affinis females had continuous spawning in all seasons but the peak spawning season was found in spring, and stage 3 of maturity was observed in all seasons. Length at maturity (LM50) for females was estimated at 27.12 mm based on carapace length. Our finding showed that LM50 of M. affinis do not change with sex ratio deviates from equal ratio.

Due to this continental coastline, Iran is considered the biggest fishing nation in the region. There are several commercials fishing methods in Iran like Trawl fisheries, Purse seine fisheries, Gillnet fisheriesand coastline fisheries. In this paper, we tried to introduce and eeplain all the commercials fishing in Iran.Certainly, there are many fishing methods in Iran, but all of them are not commercial and used by fishing fleets

The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficiency of gillnet with three different colors of green, blue and white, and three different mesh size 3.75, 6 and 10 cm (STR) in Khuzestan waters. Data were recorded from three fishing harbor Arvand, Choobedeh of Abadan and Khoramshahr during 2008-2009. Simpson diversity and economic diversity index were used to analyze data. Results showed that economical index of green net was more than the other colors. In addition, the efficiency of 10 cm (STR) mesh size was higher than two treatments. In conclusion, results demonstrated that using green net with 10 cm (STR) mesh size is more economical.

Hyperplasia, oedema, epithelial lifting in secondary lamella and lamellar aneurysm were observed in gill tissues, showing that CuO, as a copper ion, has significant adverse effects on gill tissues of rainbow trout and gills can be a suitable biomarker for copper in water resources.

on Oncorhynchus mykiss by evaluating hematological parameters.
Materials and Methods: Fish were sampled and treated in 4 aquariums containing the
concentration ranges of 1, 5, 20 and 100 ppm of CuO NPs. There was one control group (no
CuO NPs) and three replicates. The physicochemical properties of water were as follows: the
temperature was 22±2 Cº, oxygen saturation was 90.9±0.2%, pH was at 7±0.004 and the
concentration of CaCO3 was 270.
Results: No mortality was observed after 96 hours of exposure. The analysis of
hematological parameters showed that CuO NPs affected the counts of white blood cells,
lymphocytes, eosinophils, neutrophils, hematocrits, MCH, MCHC and MCV and did not
have any effects on monocytes and hemoglobins.
Conclusion: The data showed that the overall hardness (270 ppm) neutralized the lethal
effect of copper on O. mykiss and no mortality was recorded.
