Gilmore Girls Music Challenge

Each week a song lyric, a full song, or a theme will be posted. When a lyric is posted you must include the

entire lyric on the icon(s). When a full song is posted you must include at least four consecutive words from it on the icon(s). If a theme is posted, you must make an icon with at least four consecutive words from any song to help portray the theme. When submitting your icon(s)in a theme challenge be sure to specify the artist and title of the song you used. You may use different songs for the theme challenge.

You can edit the images any way that you want. This means you can crop, color, animate, and add text other than the lyrics, as long as the lyrics are clearly displayed on the icon.

Occasionally there may be a different kind of challenge. If this is the case, the rules will be specified.

Every week a new challenge will be posted. Submit your icons as well as any quesitons you might have as a comment in the challenge post. All comments will be screened for anonymity. You cannot post icons that you have previously posted or used elsewhere.

You may submit up to three icons per challenge.

Icons must fit LJ standards.(100x100 px max, 40kB max, and .jpg, .png or .gif formats.)

Post both img and url versions of your icon(s). Make sure your icon is on a reliable server.

Vote for your three favorite icons. Make sure they are in order because the votes will be weighted. Voting is screened, but when the winners are posted I'll post a tally of the votes. Don't vote for yourself or purposely for your friends!! Wouldn't you rather fully deserve your win than knowing you had help from yourself or friends?

After votes are tallied, the winners will be posted. There will be recognition for first place, second place, third place, and mod's choice. I'm going to try to make banners for the winners, but I'm not sure if I'll have the time. If someone wants to volunteer to help make banners, feel free to do so. I could use all the help I can get.
