Welcome to a community for discussing Kidou Senshi Gundam 00. The latest in the mobile suit Gundam franchise.
Talk of all Gundam is welcome, although the focus is mostly on 00.

Begins on 5th Oct'2008. It'll take over Code Geass' spot, airing at 1700 (UTC/GMT +9) in TBS/MBS network.
About Gundam 00 (season 1)
It is the year A.D. 2307. Fossil fuels on Earth have been depleted entirely, with mankind turning to the next available power source: solar energy. During this time, 3 orbital elevators with solar power generation systems are built, each under control by the Union of Solar Energy and Free Nations (formerly United States of America), the Human Reform League (Russia, China and India) and the Advanced European Union. However, not all countries are able to enjoy the benefits of this system, leading to widespread resentment and war. Arising out of the conflict, a mysterious military organization known as Celestial Being appears, dedicated to end all warfare using Mobile Suits called Gundam. This begins the stories of Gundam Meisters (pilots) Setsuna F. Seiei, Lockon Stratos, Allelujah Haptism and Tiera Erde as they are thrown into conflict between the 3 superpowers and the other various factions.

About Gundam 00 (season 2)
2312 A.D. Four years have passed since the final battle between Celestial Being and the UN Forces. Humanity, after having established the Earth Sphere Federation, forms an independent security force, Arrows, separate from the formal Federation army to further unify nations and the will of mankind. But the reality is the inhumane oppression of anti-government powers, doctrines, and ideologies in the name of unity. Setsuna F. Seiei, after surviving the battle four years ago, has decided to once again fight with his Gundam.

There will be 4 different mangas, which will begin serialising in December 2007.
Serialised in Dengeki Hobby Magazine, it features events before the main 00 story.
Mobile Suit Gundam 00V - story by Tomohiro Chiba -
Serialised in Hobby Japan. Short stories of the characters from the other organizations opposing Celestial Being. The plot is set in the past and future of the 00 timeline.
Mobile Suit Gundam 00F by Kouichi Tokita -
Serialised in Gundam Ace. Story takes place at the same time as 00. The 2 side-stories introduces the characters and mechas and links to the main story.
Mobile Suit Gundam 00 -
Serialised in Kerokero Ace. The anime story retold with some minor changes and expanded scenes.
