This is the posting community for 
wicked_sassy and kleenexcow's ongoing no-attacks Battlestar Galactica AU.
The terms of the AU are this:
Shortly after graduation from the Fleet Academy, Jr. Lts. Kara "Starbuck" Thrace and Karl "Helo" Agathon were stationed together on the Battlestar Triton. During a mission that left them stranded together overnight on the mining planet Troy, they slept together, during which they accidentally conceived a child.
They had a son, Percy Triton Agathon, who was mostly raised by his paternal grandparents on Aquaria. Shortly after the decommissioning of the Battlestar Galactica when Percy was eight, Kara met pyramid star Samuel T. Anders in a bar, which kicked off their lifelong relationship. Karl had another child, Hera Tzeng, who lived with her mother on Aquaria. Kara eventually took a highly classified, highly dangerous planetside job at Fleet Headquarters, and she and Sam moved to Perkinston, Picon, where he became a coach for his alma mater, the U.Picon Kraken. Helo rose through the ranks to Colonel and became an Executive Officer on the Battlestar Solaria, where he served for over fifteen years.
There's a lot more backstory. But these are the basics. We'll be posting little drabbles and stories we write in this universe, mostly to amuse ourselves, but perhaps you will be amused, too. :)
In order to keep all of the times straight, we have somewhat arbitrarily assigned a year system. We have set "zero date," if you will, of Percy's birth as "December 8, 2003," (in honor of the first night of the airing of the BSG miniseries) and all other dates are counted forward or backward from that.
