Welcome to Hogwarts_ROR, a Harry Potter Dressing Room

What is a Dressing Room?
A dressing room is a place where you may roleplay in free-form, where you can play out just about anything you want. Test out your characters, try something different, play out "What ifs", and have multiple plots happening. As anything can happen, you may also have multiples of the same character in the same environment. No application is required; join and jump right on in!

About Hogwarts_ROR:
This is a Harry Potter based dressing room where all canon HP based characters may come and post. Characters can include, AUs, genderbents, timeskips, marauder era, and so forth!

Original HP-Verse Characters are allowed.

You may put characters from other fandoms here but they MUST fit into the Harry Potter setting. [A student, a teacher, shop owner, muggle, etc.]

This is a Dressing Room, so you may choose whoever you want to speak with.
If you are not comfortable speaking with OCs, characters from other fandoms, or a character in general, then you're not require to respond to them. There's no one single plot, there can be multiples.

Environment:
Currently the scenery in this dressing room has:
Hogwarts School grounds, with the Forbidden Forest
Diagon Alley
Hogsmeade
A town with apartments and some houses for characters who aren't students or staff to stay in when they come. They're mysteriously free of charge.
Dangerous and magical creatures of the Harry Potter world also roam here, so be careful where you decide to go.

The difference between actual locations and the Dressing Room versions is that there's no one actually occupying the locations, no real person anyway, just bots [NPC]. If you're playing one of the owners of the shop or a teacher, you're free to go ahead take over your jobs, the bots will understand. Everything is also free... for the time being, with everything you need in objects available. [School materials, howlers, etc.]

Rules
-NO GODMODDING. This means don't make decisions for the other character you're playing with, and please turn off invincibility mode.
-STAY IN-CHARACTER. This place is only for your HP characters, therefore stay IC at all times. If you need to do something OOC, make sure to let the other players know.
-KEEP DRAMA/WANK OUTSIDE. Keep your OOC problems outside of the community please. It will not be tolerated.
-OOC DRAMA DOES NOT EQUAL IC DRAMA. Don't like the person? Then take it out on them, or your personal journal and not on the character.
-MAKE SURE YOUR OC IS NOT CONSIDER MARY-SUE/GARY-STU. What's a Mary-Sue/Gary-Stu? Look it up.
-LABEL YOUR POST PROPERLY IF IT'S NOT WORKSAFE! Please leave a warning in the subject line or in your post somewhere if there are adult content in the thread. [A simple NSFW will do.]
-PLEASE TAG YOUR POSTS IF YOU MADE IT. It helps keep things organized in case someone's trying to locate something or someone to write with. Mods will come in and tag them properly if people forget but we really appreciate it if you can do it yourself.
IF POSSIBLE, PUT LOCATION IN SUBJECT LINE. Again, just so people get a better idea what's going on in the post.
