He who Snarks Last, Snarks Best... This community is based on the many House, m.d. Last Icon Standing communities here at LiveJournal. However, instead of stretching our artistic muscles, we get to pop a vicodin and work out our best snarktastic drabbles and ficlets. Still don't get it? It's easy...1.Each week I will pick a prompt. These prompts will always pertain to the show in some form.2. You will have one week to complete the writing challenge set before you.3. At the end of the week it is then up to the members of the community to decide which stories they like the best. The author which recieves the least ammount of votes will be, well, lets say 'fired'....And so on until we have completed all rounds and are left with the House m.d. Last Author Standing!Of course, as with every other community, there are some rules:1. There must be a minimum of 10 writers to start a round. 2. All posts must be made anonymously. Why? because this keeps the playing field level. This means you can not post your story anywhere, including your personal journal, until voting is finished. Afterwards, no problem!3. You will be allowed one pass per round. If you do not notify me via LJ or email that you are using your 'free pass', you will be disqualified for the round. 4. There will be variations on the challenges. A drabble is generally 100 words, no more or no less. A ficlet is generally between 100 to 500 words.5. All pairings are acceptable. Because of this, this is an 18+ community. I will allow all types of writing except abuse fic. So i suggest people that have a problem with slash think carefully before joining the community. I do not want bias against any type of writing to impede the voting process.6. All stories will be posted screened until the day of voting. When you are ready to post your story you can either email it to me or respond to the 'ENTRY' post with the corresponding challenge that will be up for response. 7. Have Fun!About VotingTHE GOLDEN RULEPlease do not vote for stories because they are about your favorite OTP. That is not fair. I myself am not a House/Cameron fan but have read some excellent fic based on them. This is a great chance to open up to other writers!1. While it is great to hear feedback from other writers, all comments will be screened. I will release the comments after the vots have been tallied.2. Even if you have been voted out, you are still welcome to participate as a 'Free Writer'.
