Welcome to the Hana Yori Dango Awards a.k.a. HYD Awards. This is an icon contest community for the popular Hana Yori Dango anime, manga, and live action drama.Even if you do not create icons, please join and participate in our voting!
General Community Rules:
a. Please be friendly and courteous. ^_^b. Please no flaming or insults. You will be removed from the community.c. Please avoid using profanity as well.
Submission Rules
1. To participate and vote, please join the community first.2. Please make your icons fit the Live Journal standards of 40KB and 100x100 pixels.3. You can submit a maximum of 2 icons per week.4. Contest entries must be from pictures from the Hana Yori Dango anime, manga, Japanese live action drama and Taiwanese live action drama (Meteor Garden) only. If you are using magazine pictures, please use "in character" pictures. Please do not use doujinshi images.5. The icon you submit must be new and never posted anywhere before.6. Please separate comments from votes and submitting. All comments and votes will be screened.7. Please submit your icon to the submission post in this way:http://www.livejournal.com/userpic/57246150/11148437*Please remember to include a link to your icon when you submit it to the submissions post.Note: Themes will be posted on a Sunday night and submissions will be due two weeks later on a Saturday morning, 9AM PST, 12PM (noon) EST. Voting will usually run from Saturday morning until Sunday night.
