Th e main aim of this article is to explain „legitimization“ on two levels – ontological and a gn... more Th e main aim of this article is to explain „legitimization“ on two levels – ontological and a gnoseological level. The principal focus will be made on the first level where legitimization will be treated as a process. From the very beginning it should be pointed out that this concept is not treated in a political way. To a certain extent, legitimization can be seen as an integral process of social life which is directly connected with the construction of social reality.
