My own personal reasons. I feel like a sinner when I eat carbs, now. I can't even describe it, but I feel bad for eating something OTHERWISE deemed very healthy. I feel like I'm scarfing down a huge box of snake food or something, when I'm far from it.It's way mega lame, and it's royally pissing me off.Current Mood: annoyedannoyedCurrent Music: alexisonfire - Polaroids of Polar Bears(4 comments | Leave a comment)From:zarriq Date:August 14th, 2004 09:19 pm (UTC) **(Link)**Oh lord I know what you mean. Just before I start into a big ol' plate of spaghetti or a delicious roll a part of me thinks, "Gee, that's a lot of carbs..." and I want to punch myself for caring.(Reply) (Thread) [User Picture]From:bewareofgiraffe Date:August 15th, 2004 12:49 am (UTC) **(Link)**I still eat loads of carbs, guilt-free.(Reply) (Thread) [User Picture]From:_sullied_ Date:August 16th, 2004 06:22 am (UTC) **(Link)**everytime I eat something high in carbs, i tell myself "yum, i'm eating a ton of carbs. those dummies on the low carb diets dont know what they're missing!"(Reply) (Thread) From:hermit_crab Date:August 22nd, 2004 10:22 am (UTC) **(Link)**I read where a nutritionist was talking about the "trickle down" effect of this low-carb brainwashing. The end result is that even people who aren't trying to lose weight are eating fewer carbs these days, because we're completely bombarded with low-carb propaganda.(Reply) (Thread)
