Welcome to the Incubus Fan Community on LiveJournal!

I created this community in January 2001 based on my experiences at the message board on Incubus's official site, where I used to go by the handle Dolemite. It was there that I found that Incubus has some of the best fans out there..... intelligent, thoughtful, spiritual, positive, diverse, open-minded, interesting, crazy, fun folks to talk to that have plenty to say about all sorts of topics, from suicide and abortion to sex and pie. So I started this community, only to discover that LJ at the time offered very little support to community maintainers. Fed up, I originally abandoned it.

But soon people were discovering the community on their own. As Incubus became more popular, so did this community. Soon membership was into the hundreds, with very little word of mouth on my part. It had truly developed a life of its own.

Now, a year and a half later, membership is fast approaching 500, with more and more new members every day, almost hourly. It's well on its way to becoming one of the most populpus communities on LiveJournal, and is by far the most popular of all of the Incubus communities on LJ. And it is active on a daily basis, with all sorts of news and discussion that very seldom drifts off the topic of the band. And the atmosphere is mostly friendly, though many members do ably exercise their right to disagree or nitpick. ;)

If this is your first time here, welcome and have fun. If you're a veteran, contribute as you see fit and keep taking part in discussions. Everyone, keep continuing to support this great band, and show everyone that the best fans are Incubus fans.
