Purpose: The aim of the article is to define the factors that affect the relationship between the... more Purpose: The aim of the article is to define the factors that affect the relationship between the inhabitants of the city divided by the border with Polish and Czech cultural institutions, in terms of cultural education. Design/Methodology/Approach: The survey was conducted using the CATI (Computer-Assisted Telephone Interview) technique in October and November 2019 on a randomly selected sample-1035 inhabitants of Cieszyn (555 respondents from Poland) and Czech Cieszyn (480 people from the Czech side). The acquired data was subjected to factor analysis and SEM (Structural Equation Modelling) analysis. Findings: The results of the SEM analysis confirmed that the instruments identified by the authors had a positive (stimulating) effect on the tendency of the inhabitants of the city divided by the border to establish relations with Polish and Czech cultural institutions. The article proves that the activities of cultural institutions located both on the Polish and Czech sides of the city of Cieszyn-Czech Cieszyn, divided by the border, have a positive impact on establishing relationships between cultural entities and the inhabitants of the city divided by the border. Practical Implications: The analysed instruments can be used in the process of shaping longterm relationships with recipients of the cultural offer on both sides of the border. Originality/value: The article shows that the marketing instruments identified by the authors can also be used in the broadly understood process of cultural education.

The concept of relationship on cross-border cooperation in sphere of culture has been recognised ... more The concept of relationship on cross-border cooperation in sphere of culture has been recognised as very important in global strategic documents of European Union for more than a two decades. It is also increasingly reflected in the cultural polices of particular states, and-very importantly-cultural managers who are responsible for shaping the cultural offer in Euroregions are becoming more interested in this concept. Despite the increasing attention being paid to this topic among both practitioners and theoreticians of management, in none of these documents or other works can we find content that is directly related to the Polish-Czech cross-border cultural services market. This gap was the direct impulse for taking up research in this field. Based on in-depth interviews carried out with fifty experts from the Polish and Czech side of the Euroregion Beskidy, the possibilities of adapting the concept of relationship marketing in cultural organizations operating on the Polish-Czech cross-border market for cultural services were recognized. The conducted research shows that Polish and Czech managers of cultural institutions differ in terms of the key instruments of the marketing mix. In their opinion they should have a primary application at the stage of strengthening ties, connecting cultural organization with Polish and Czech recipients of the cultural offer. According to Polish experts, the key instrument for building relationships (strengthening ties) is marketing communication, whereas in the opinion of Czech respondents these will be activities related to shaping the product.

Enterprises wishing to maintain or increase their share in such a market are forced to constantly monitor not only their competitors, but also—if not primarily—buyers of their products. One of the ways to precisely recognise the needs and preferences of consumers is to conduct market research and undertake market segmentation based on the results of such research. The purpose of the article is to show the use of segmentation analysis to identify relatively homogeneous groups of consumers on the coffee market and to determine the size of these segments. The NDCs aim first to reduce greenhouse gas emission targets under the UNFCCC and they apply equally to both developed and developing countries. Countries voluntarily indicate what actions will be taken to achieve the declared goals. The construction sector is an industry that is under scrutiny due to its negative impact on the environment, but it also has the potential to reduce it. On the basis of studies of the Institute for Structural Research in Warsaw, a sector of creative industries in Poland was presented. An attempt to determine the influence of creative industries on the social-economic development of the region was also made. It was pointed that the culture and creative industries drawing from it contribute to an increase in endogenous ability of the region to react to changes occurring under the influence of exogenous factors.

The paper presents the results of research into the spatial range of the influence of philharmoni... more The paper presents the results of research into the spatial range of the influence of philharmonic institutions in Kato-wice, i.e. the Henryk Mikołaj Górecki Silesian Philharmonic and the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Ka-towice. In addition, the means of transport which the participants of the symphonic concerts use to reach the institutions surveyed are recognized. When collecting data, the method of collecting customer postal codes was used. In the course of the research conducted in March and April 2017, information on the means of transport and places of residence of 515 participants in concerts in Katowice's phil-harmonic institutions was collected.
