In the modern world, the number of women occupying leading positions in various spheres of busine... more In the modern world, the number of women occupying leading positions in various spheres of business, politics, science and education, and public life is increasing. This trend causes more and more interest in the study of the psychological characteristics of female managers. The question of what character traits, skills and approaches to leadership are specific to women is relevant and important. Women managers may have their own characteristics in leadership style, adaptation to challenges and people management. Researchers note that female leadership often differs from traditional male approaches. For example, women are more likely to use cooperation, collaboration, and support when working with their subordinates, and they also exhibit higher emotional intelligence and empathy. Research shows that female managers can have strong communication skills, the ability to understand the needs and motivations of their employees, and build effective relationships. They more often show flexibility, tolerance and the ability to make collective decisions, which contributes to the development of teamwork. However, on the way to successful leadership, women may encounter certain challenges and obstacles. Gender stereotypes, unequal working conditions, barriers to professional growth can complicate their career path. It is important to take these factors into account when studying the psychological characteristics of female managers. The article analyzes the psychological characteristics of women who hold the positions of managers in educational institutions, in particular their personal traits, leadership style, ways of interacting with subordinates and the impact on organizational culture. The article considers the issue of gender equality in the management of educational institutions, and also investigates which psychological features of female managers contribute to their success and efficiency in work.
