It is part of the public mental health system where service is free. The self-management of the informants was assessed in terms of the following five (5) aspects on the interview guide: (1)the early warning signs that the informants might be heading to a setback or need to do something about themselves; (2)the unhelpful thinking styles that they need to watch out for; (3)the situations which are potential problems for them; (4)future support options ;and (5)practices/strategies they have found most helpful and needed to continue to practice. Having collected the data, the information was categorized. Data were organized into labels that summarized the notes and brought meaning to the manuscript of notes.
The following conclusions were drawn: (1) Informants have difficulty on managing their workload; (2) They tend to worry a lot when they are unable to focus clearly on their teaching; (3) The potential problems for them are pupils’ attitude toward schooling and extra given activities to overcome; (4) All of them agree to family as their future support option; and, (5) Last but not least was there is always a room for improvement in terms of their self-management in teaching.
In consistence with the drawn conclusion, for the teachers to be able to manage themselves in the teaching profession, they should (1) set activities that need to finish from the most urgent and most important, second urgent, and so on; (2) have and keep a positive thinking habit which could be reinforced by strong faith and belief in divine providence; and, 3) cultivate intrinsic and extrinsic motivation among pupils and anticipate that unexpected things, like additional workloads, might happen or be given anytime.
