The AC characterized by FTIR spectra to indicate the surface Characteristic groups of adsorbent affect the adsorption. The pH at point of zero charge showed the anionic nature of adsorbent surface and by using batch mode, the study considering the typical condition for adsorption of GV dye by the AC such as; effect of initial dye concentration, pH and contact time. The adsorption kinetics and equilibrium constants was achieved at 305K and the Langmuir isotherm model fit for the equilibrium data better than Freundlich model. Kinetics of adsorption was studied by testing the data in the pseudo first order (Lagergren Equation) and pseudo second order model and the adsorption of GV dye onto AC obeyed pseudo second order model. Thermodynamic studies exhibit that the adsorption reaction is endothermic...

Kinetic data obeyed to Ho-McKay pseudo second order equation. Freundlich and Langmuir isotherms were used to test the equilibrium data and the results shows better fit with a Langmuir equation with maximum adsorption capacity 76.34 mg/g. Thermodynamic parameter shows the adsorption of lead onto preparedAC was spontaneous and exothermic.

Effect of float/dry time, contact time, adsorbent dose, MB initial concentration, pH and temperature was achieved to get the adsorption optimum condition. Equilibrium data were tested by Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms and the data fitting well with Freundlich model. Kinetic data analysis by pseudo-first order, pseudo-second order and intraparticle diffusion model and the result shows better fit with pseudo-second order. Arrhenius equation at 298, 308, 318 and 328K was used to get the activation energy and found to be 23.57kJ.. The thermodynamic values of standard free energy, enthalpy and entropy show negative sign exhibit spontaneous, exothermic and decrease the randomness respectively. The pH at point of zero charge, specific surface area and FTIR spectra was measured for adsorbent and the desorption process which achieved to regenerate the adsorbent after adsorption process.

Kinetic data obeyed to Ho-Mckay pseudo second order equation. Freundlich and Langmuir isotherms were used to test the equilibrium data and the results shows better fit with Langmuir isotherm with maximum adsorption capacity 39mg/g. Thermodynamic parameters show the adsorption of RhB onto Rhamnus stone was spontaneous and endothermic.
