Digital technology is prevalent in many sectors of life, such as entertainment, information search tools, and online shopping and purchasing. It is by far the best choice for society in general during the current pandemic. Saung Angklung Udjo is one of West Java's tourist attraction offering traditional Sundanese arts and culture. With the Covid-19 pandemic, SAU must innovate in order to help the government's agenda in controlling the virus's spread, thus to survive under present conditions. This research examines the authenticity of a tourist's experience after virtually participating in an event hosted by SAU. Penglipuran Village is a traditional village which has an area of 112 hectares and has 1,028 inhabitants with a total of 280 families. This research is about the management of Penglipuran Village which brings positive aspects to the surrounding community, especially the people who are in the Penglipuran Village area both from an economic, social or cultural perspective. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through direct observation, interviews and documentation. The informants in this study are the managers of Penglipuran Village and the surrounding community. The purpose of this study is to find out how Penglipuran Traditional Village is managed. This study aims to determine the effect of tourist motivation and promotion on the decision to vi... more This study aims to determine the effect of tourist motivation and promotion on the decision to visit Curug Sentral Jayanegara. The method used is descriptive quantitative verification method. The sample used was 355 respondents with a Simple Random Sampling approach and SPSS Statistics 24 software for Windows. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires and literature study. The results showed (1) tourist motivation had a significant effect on the decision to visit 50.20%, (2) promotion had a significant effect on the decision to visit 31.60%. (3) tourist motivation and promotion simultaneously have a significant effect of 48.80% on visiting decisions and (4) there is a correlation between tourist motivation and promotion of 0.428. Based on these results, it can be concluded that tourist motivation and promotion have an influence in increasing visiting decisions.

The village community of Cireundeu has carried out its ancestral customary traditions, among othe... more The village community of Cireundeu has carried out its ancestral customary traditions, among others the main thing is not to eat staple food other than cassava. This unique custom has become a strong cultural attraction for different groups of people both nationally and internationally. This makes Cireundeu Village one of the cultural tourism destinations often visited by different groups of tourists. Traditional elders argued that although there was no growth of tourism there, they should continue to carry out their cultural traditions handed down from generation to generation. In the meantime, several generations in Kampung Cireundeu do not necessarily wish to continue the tradition of their ancestors. However, with the increasing growth of tourism, the Cireundeu people started to feel some benefits from tourism development. They therefore started to strive to engage in the preservation of their ancestral culture's traditions and customs. The purpose of this study is to see onto which extent tourism can motivate the next generation of Cireundeu Village community to preserve the cultural traditions. This study uses quantitative methods to confirm a premise from previous studies. This research found that tourism has a positive and significant influence on the motivation of the people of Kampung Cireundeu in preserving their ancestral culture. This research took 100 respondences chosen specifically on adult indigenous villagers. The questionnaire uses ordinal scale asking the respondence on how strong they agree on the given statements. The statements are representing the dimensions on each variable tested in this research. This study only covers the Cireundeu village community. The aspect under study is limited to economic, social and cultural benefits of tourism. This study uses a multiple linear regression analytical method that measures how much is the influence of tourism simultaneously on the motivation of the people of Kampung Cireundeu in preserving their ancestral culture.

The FNPF has incorporated volunteer tourism (voluntourism) into their Bali starling conservation project. The foundation has established a Bali starling conservation facility on the small island of Nusa Penida, Bali. Their activities are ranging from accommodating volunteer tourists from other countries to work and assisting in conservation activities. This paper intends to examine whether this voluntourism activity has a significant impact on the conservation of Bali starlings. Due to pandemic condition, this study had been conducted from a distance interview with the head of the Bali starling conservation activity in Nusa Penida. Tajur Kahuripan Village began to get tourists from different regions by maintaining the indigenou... more Tajur Kahuripan Village began to get tourists from different regions by maintaining the indigenous Sundanese cultural traditions, especially its traditional housing. Tourism has since begun to thrive in this area. Since the inhabitants are indigenous farmers, however, no one has any experience and skill in the tourism sector. Consequently, the tourist management system is not optimized to necessarily ideal level. There is no influx of visits to the village as tourists arrive. Similarly, the flow of reception and placement of guests to any homestay has not yet been developed. Those will contribute to a lack of valuable experience on the tourists part. The goal of this research is to analyze the model of visitor management as to what should be implemented in the Tajur Kahuripan Village, so that it corresponds to the characteristics of the rural tourism offered. Furthermore, this study is intended to build a model of visitor management for Kampung Tajur tourists in order to achieve an optimal visitor experience. The research method used is a qualitative method and a model development method. The targeted output is the concept of visitor management models for tourists coming to Tajur Kahuripan Village that best suits the characteristic of the village. This visitor management model is expected to enhance the tourists experience coming to visit this village.

This article discusses how a flight ticketing service is still going on in a travel agency and how are the consumers motivation in using the service. The research was conducted by doing an observation and interview to the manager of a travel agency, its ticketing staff, as well as the consumers of the ticketing service. It’s found out that the consumers’ motivation in using the flight ticketing service are vary. This unique custom has become a strong cultural attraction for different groups of people both nationally and internationally. This makes Cireundeu Village one of the cultural tourism destinations often visited by different groups of tourists. Traditional elders argued that although there was no growth of tourism there, they should continue to carry out their cultural traditions handed down from generation to generation. This article discusses how a flight ticketing service is still going on in a travel agency and how are the consumers motivation in using the service. The research was conducted by doing an observation and interview to the manager of a travel agency, its ticketing staff, as well as the consumers of the ticketing service. It’s found out that the consumers’ motivation in using the flight ticketing service are vary. Some of them feels unfamiliar with the OTA application, some of them have difficulties in getting fine internet connection, and some are not convenient to amend the flight dates and having a refund through OTA. This research is to find out whether this strategy can be applied to develop tourism in Cikadu hamlet by initiating a connection with a more established resort nearby. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach. The data were collected through observations and interviews with key informants. General Manager of the resorts, tourism activists of the hamlet, and government staffs in the village were interviewed to look into the problems. Historically, there were a number of tourists already directed by Tanjung Lesung Resorts to have a trip to Cikadu hamlet.
