This paper is concerned with understanding the latter based on a mean-field type optimal control model. Specifically, the model is used to investigate the role of partial information on an agent's decision-making, and study the impact of such decisions by a large number of agents on the spread of the virus in the population. The motivation comes from the presymptomatic and asymptomatic spread of the COVID-19 virus where an agent unwittingly spreads the virus. We show that even in a setting with fully rational agents, limited information on the viral state can result in an epidemic growth.

Specifically, an agent's decision-to be socially active in the midst of an epidemic-is modeled as a mean-field game with healthrelated costs and activity-related rewards. By considering the fully and partially observed versions of this problem, the role of information in guiding an agent's rational decision is highlighted. The main contributions of the paper are to derive the equations for the mean-field game in both fully and partially observed settings of the problem, to present a complete analysis of the fully observed case, and to present some analytical results for the partially observed case.

Moreover, the agents have communication constraints which appear as: (1) an Additive-White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel, and (2) asynchronous data transmission via a fixed scheduling policy. Since the complexity of solving the game increases with the number of agents, we use the Mean-Field Game paradigm to solve it. Under standard assumptions on the information structure of the agents, we prove that the control of the agent in the MFG setting is free of the dual effect. This allows us to obtain an equilibrium control policy for the generic agent, which is a function of only the local observation of the agent. Furthermore, the equilibrium mean-field trajectory is shown to follow linear dynamics, hence making it computable. We show that in the finite population game, the equilibrium control policy prescribed by the MFG analysis constitutes an −Nash equilibrium, where tends to zero as the number of agents goes to infinity. The paper is concluded with simulations demonstrating the performance of the equilibrium control policy.

Wythoff's Game is a variation of Nim in which players may take an equal number of stones from eac... more Wythoff's Game is a variation of Nim in which players may take an equal number of stones from each pile or make valid Nim moves. W. A. Wythoff proved that the set of P-Positions (losing position), C, for Wythoff's Game is given by C := (kφ , kφ 2), (kφ 2 , kφ) : k ∈ Z ≥0 [Wyt07]. An open Wythoff problem remains where players make the valid Nim moves or remove kb stones from each pile, where b is a fixed integer. We denote this as the (b, b) game. For example, regular Wythoff's Game is just the (1, 1) game. In 2009, Duchêne and Gravier [DG09] proved an algorithm to generate the set of P-Positions for the (2, 2) game by exploiting the periodic nature of the differences of stones between the two piles modulo 4. We observe similar cyclic behaviour (see definition 3.2) for any b, where b is a power of 2, modulo b 2 , and construct an algorithm to generate the set of P-Positions for this game. Let a be a power of 2. We prove our algorithm works by first showing that it holds for the first a 2 terms in the (a, a) game. Next, we construct an ordered multiset for the (2a, 2a) game from the a 2 terms, and an inductive proof follows. Moreover, we conjecture that all cyclic games require a to be a power of 2, suggesting that there is no similar structure in the generalised (b, b) game where b isn't a power of 2. Future directions for generalising this result would likely utilise numeration systems, particularly the PV numbers. Plotting the P-positions on N 2 with the x-axis and y-axis each representing a single pile of stones produces an interesting pattern. The P-Positions in the original Wythoff Game cluster around lines with slope φ and 1 φ. We generalize this notion to N 3 later, with the z-axis representing a third pile of stones. Definition 1.4. (a, b) represents the state of the game when pile A has a stones and pile B has b stones. Definition 1.5. x(a 1 , b 1) represents the move which changes the state of the game from (a, b) to (a−xa 1 , b− xb 1)

Earlier approaches to designing a linear controller for a nonlinear system are two-fold. The first considers linearizing the plant around some operating point, thereby ignoring the dynamics posed by higher-order terms while the second approach is to represent the system nonlinearities in the form of model uncertainties, without any approximation of the higher order terms. The latter method forms the basis of design considered in this paper. The nonlinear model of a coupled tank system is represented in the form of a polytopic system that allows for the implementation of a linear controller. The variation in nonlinear term is treated as an uncertain parameter for the system representation. A R∞ based Proportional Integral (PI) controller is designed combined with pole placement in a desired Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) region to ensure better transient behavior of the system. Experimental results have been provided and compared with conventional design to illustrate the efficacy of the proposed design method.

These issues are very crucial which includes; global warming, waste disposal, climate change, and pollution which influence daily lifestyle of not only people, but these micro-factors have indirect impact on the business environment of the companies too. Due to which many top corporates still hesitate to use green practices even after government compulsion. But some of the reputed companies such as Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd., Samsung, Suzlon Energy, Wipro Info tech have started molding their traditional business practices towards E-practices in their processes which helps in implementation of cost-benefit analysis, reducing cost and increasing efficiency through optimum utilization of resources. As quoted by McCarthy, traditionally marketing revolved around 4P's-Product, Price, Place, and Promotion but in the emerging revolutionary phase of today's Green Marketing scenario it is focused on three crucial P's-People, Profit and Planet. Thus, our approach will be focused on collaborating the traditional and green marketing practices and develop combined 7P's of green marketing.

The aim of this paper is to use Machine learning to find the optimum dimension of the antenna for minimum return loss. The dataset obtained from simulation was trained using a one to one strategy that is one label for one feature and this was looped so as to cover the entire dataset. The data was tested on various machine learning algorithms such as linear regression, lasso algorithms, but due to limitation of data size and computational factors the linear regression algorithm worked out the best. The algorithm is implemented in python and agrees with the simulated result.
