The purposes of this research are to analyze the industry structure, productivity, economic effic... more The purposes of this research are to analyze the industry structure, productivity, economic efficiency, and the living standard of labor in tahu industry centre in Kalisari village, Cilongok district, Banyumas regency compare with those in Kalikabong village, Kalimanah district, Purbalingga regency. This research is to study which industry centre better. This research is conducted with qualitative and quantitative analysis that uses Herfindahl Index (HI) and Concentration Ratio (CR) analysis to analyze industry structure and concentration; output-input and regression to measure the productivity; R/C ratio to analyze economic efficiency; then income-UMK ratio and income-KHL ratio to analyze living standard of labor. The results show that: (1)Both of tahu industry centre in Kalisari and Kalikabong are perfect competition market. Industry in Kalikabong is more concentrated; (2) the productivity of labor in Kalisari is higher than in Kalikabong (3) the tahu enterprises in Kalisari more efficient than in Kalikabong (4) All of tahu enterpreneurs in Kalisari and Kalikabong are more than living standard level based on profit received, but many labors are less than living standard level based on wage received.

On 2000 to 2004, this region had referred to structural economic changing. Basic sectors, which was being prime sectors on 2000, has declined the role be the main regional income on 2004. The new cities establishment on this region, late of 90’s, may have important role to the structural change. It has driven modern activities that gave significant contribution to regional income. Nevertheless, regional typology shows the income disparities among the regency on this regions. Especially, the regions with low per capita income and coincide with low economic growth should need to concern. Without appropriate and wise policy, these regions will always left behind from the other regions if they are compared by the regions that have better typology. This product has comparative advantage among other regions such as in Demak, Sragen, Karanganyar, and Brebes. It is also the second best product in the world after Guangzhou, China. This hair craft creative industry can employ many workers and generate income for the artisans in fulfilling their basic needs. The purpose of this study is to identify internal and external factors and analyze production activity and consumption behaviour of entrepreneurs of hair creative industry in Karangbanjar, Purbalingga. This study used primary and secondary data. The primary one was collected from respondents—68 entrepreneurs of hair production industry, and the secondary one was from relevant government institutions. The purposes of this study are to analyze the effect of labor, land, seed, fertilizer, and capita... more The purposes of this study are to analyze the effect of labor, land, seed, fertilizer, and capital on the production of cassava; to analyze the economic efficiency and technical efficiency in cassava farming between farmer groups in Banyumas and Purbalingga; and to analyze the difference of economic and technical efficiencies of cassava farming in Banyumas and Purbalingga. This research is conducted with qualitative and quantitative analysis based on production function with a stochastic frontier approach (Stochastic Frontier Production Function): regression analysis, maximum likelihood (MLE), the analysis of technical efficiency(DEA), economic efficiency, price efficiency, and Return-Cost (R/C) ratio. The result shows there are only three significant independent variables namely labor, land, and capital. Based on analysis of technical efficiency (ET), there are only ten efficient farmers in Banyumas and four efficient farmers in Purbalingga. The results from the efficiency of the price and economic efficiency show that the farming of cassava has no efficient in both of farmer groups in Banyumas and Purbalingga. From the calculation of technical efficiency, price efficiency, and economic efficiency, it can be concluded that cassava farming has no efficient. The results from R/C ratio indicate that cassava farming in both of them are quite profitable.

The exhaust industry is one of the industries located in Purbalingga Regency which is manufacture... more The exhaust industry is one of the industries located in Purbalingga Regency which is manufactured by the traditionally production process. The activities during all processes on this industry have built a value chain. This research aims to (1) investigate how to obtain all raw materials, (2) analyze how to market the products, and (3) analyze the value chain. Data were collected by interviews using questionnaire. The number of sample was 54 entrepreneurs through simple random technique. The value chain analysis is used to analyze the series of activities. The results show that (1) the raw materials are come from Tegal and own Purbalingga; (2) the marketing spreads to almost throughout Indonesia with three channels, i.e. through agents, direct to consumer, and through online sales; (3) The value chain is divided into three main activities, i.e. the process of obtaining raw materials, exhaust production process, and marketing process of the products.

Those two factors have to be maintained and performed to gain the success business so this analysis becomes important for identifying the business condition in this industry. This study used primary and secondary data. The primary one was collected by survey method from respondents—owners/entrepreneurs of hair production industry—and the secondary one was taken from government institutions that supply industrial data. The analysis method used in this study was SWOT analysis for identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats and then combining them into the business strategies. This study estimates the influence of the variable interest rate, credit procedure, and business ... more This study estimates the influence of the variable interest rate, credit procedure, and business location on the coconut sugar producers's decision to take credit at Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Cilongok Unit. This research is a quantitative research, using logistic regression analysis. The population in this study were all coconut sugar producers in Pageraji Village, Cilongok Sub-district who had already taken credit and or are currently taking credit at BRI Cilongok Unit. The number of samples used in this study were 60 respondents with sampling using the snowball technique. Based on the results of the research and data analysis using logistic regression analysis, it shows that first, interest rate has a positive and significant effect on the coconut sugar producers's decision to take credit at BRI. Second, credit procedure has no effect on the coconut sugar producers's decision to take credit at BRI. Third, business location has a positive and significant effect on the coconut sugar producers's decision to take credit at BRI. The implications of the above conclusions relating to interest rate in this study should be in charging interest rates to customers, BRI Cilongok Unit as best as possible provides relatively affordable interest rates, but must still pay attention to the government regulations that have been set. Meanwhile, for the location of the business, it is recommended that BRI must maintain the security and convenience of customers.

The analysis object is small enterprises in the hair production centre which is the traditional hair product located in Karangbanjar village. The product advantage was analyzed through comparative and competitive advantages approaches. The research tools are Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) to analyze comparative advantage and Sustainable Competitive Advantage (SCA) to study competitive advantage. The results obtained from this research are based on product advantage analysis, small enterprises of hair production exactly have comparative and competitive advantages.

________________________________________________________________ Non performing loans (NPL) is an... more ________________________________________________________________ Non performing loans (NPL) is an indicator of debtor's inability in credit repayment which indicates the presence of asymmetric information that might cause moral hazard. This research aims to measure the level of moral hazard and its determinants of micro and small enterprises debtors of Bank Jateng which have NPL. The data were collected from 58 debtors who were selected using simple random sampling. Rating scale method was used to measure the level of moral hazard while regression was used to analyze variables determining moral hazard. The research found that (1) the level of debtor's moral hazard tends to be medium-to-high, (2) bank monitoring, debtor's age, and business size are significant variables determining moral hazard. Hence, the research suggests that (1) the bank needs to apply some specific treatments to debtors with high moral hazard, (2) bank monitoring needs to be increased thus debtors are not comfortable to carry out moral hazard, (3) young debtors tend to be more daring to do moral hazard hence it needs special attention and treatment to them, (4) the debtors with larger scale business have the potential to do moral hazard therefore treatment needs to be differentiated with the smaller ones.
This research is secondary data research in the agricultural sub-sectors, those are food crops, h... more This research is secondary data research in the agricultural sub-sectors, those are food crops, horticulture, plantations, animal husbandry, agriculture and hunting services, forestry and logging, and fisheries in Pekalongan Regency in 2013-2017. The purpose of this research is to analyze the classification of growth and the contribution of plantations sub-sector production. This research used analysis tools, they were Klassen Typology and Contribution Production of superior products in each district. The results of this research show growth classification consist of four quadrants: quadrant I that doesn’t have advanced agricultural sub-sectors. Quadrant II contained horticultural crops, forestry and logging, and fisheries, while in Quadrant III there were plantation crops, and in Quadrant IV there were food crops, livestock, and agricultural and hunting services. This study aims to analyze the effect of population, income per capita, rice production and poverty on the average per capita expenditure in Central Java Province in 2015-2019. The research method uses multiple linear regression with the penel data model. The results showed that the population and rice production had a significant effect on the average per capita expenditure in Central Java Province in 2015-2019. Meanwhile, income per capita and poverty not significant effect on average per capita expenditure in Central Java Province in 2015-2019.. The implication of government policy is to maintain food security in Indonesia and be able to reduce the population by streamlining the family planning program.

As a result, fisheries resources experience excessive utilization, which indicates the phenomenon of the tragedy of the common. Based on these conditions, appropriate rules and policies are needed in the institutional management of fisheries resources to remain sustainable. The purpose of this study is: to identify the roles of stakeholders in fisheries management. The analysis used is stakeholder analysis. The results of the study show that: Stakeholder groups involved in fisheries management are subjects, bystanders, actors, and players.

This research aims to measure and compare the moral hazard behaviour of micro and small enterpris... more This research aims to measure and compare the moral hazard behaviour of micro and small enterprises' debtors within Purwokerto area on Productive Business Loan scheme. This scheme was choosen because of the highest Non Performing Loan (NPL) among others. The data were collected from 127 debitors by using simple random sampling technique. Rating scale method was used to measure the moral hazard behaviours of debtors through questionnaire and later comparing them to study how serious the noncompliance rate in repaying off their credits. This research finds that (1) Generally, the moral hazard behaviour tends to be medium-to-high, (2) The highest moral hazard should be attributed to debitors in Purbalingga followed by those in Banjarnegara, Purwokerto, and Cilacap. Then, it suggests that (1) all bank branches need to pay more attentions to their debitors because their moral hazard behaviours have been medium-to-high. (2) Each branch needs to apply specific treatments to the debitors to improve debitors' installments, i.e building lending relationship as one way of exploring soft information which emphasizes informal approaches, (3) It should be important to design integrated training and practices for bank officers in order to build up their sense of psychological skills in public relationship in order to handle, in turn, those risky debtors.

The focus of this research is the effects of hair production activities of nucleous-plasma partnership as part of hair production system. It has been proven that this industry benefits many parts of societies and assists local government program in reducing unemployment and increasing social welfare by labour absorption. However negative externalities have already occured in social and economic views. This research takes samples of 2 factories, 5 plasmas, and 25 workers. The methods using in this research are Dollar-based Ecosystem Valuation Methods. The results show that there are degradation of social interaction among internal family community, reduction of children’s spirit and motivation to achieve high education level, and increasing waste water that endangers to ecosystem.Keywords: Externalities, Haircraft Industry, Nucleus-Plasma, Social Interaction, Waste Water.
Hair craft product is one of the best creative industry products in Purbalingga regency. It has c... more Hair craft product is one of the best creative industry products in Purbalingga regency. It has comparative advantage among such products produced in other regencies in Central Java Province. There are two scales of this industry; large and micro-small-medium. In the large, there are two production systems. Firstly, workers come directly to the workplace in the factory, and secondly, workers do the jobs in some workpaces in different locations as parts of factory—plasma core partnership. This study is aimed to analyze value chain of price determining formed in plasma core partnership system thus identify which sub producer has the highest margin and becomes a price driver. There are three levels of sub producers; factory, plasma, and worker. It took samples of 2 factories, 5 plasmas, and 25 workers. It applies margin share and price transmission methods. Margin share is used to explain which level of sub producers would take the highest profit. Price transmission is used to identify sub producer which becomes price driver. The results are (1) factory has the highest margin, and (2) plasma would be probably as the price driver.

As a result, fisheries resources experience excessive utilization, which indicates the phenomenon of the tragedy of the common. Based on these conditions, appropriate rules and policies are needed in the institutional management of fisheries resources to remain sustainable. The purpose of this study is: to identify the roles of stakeholders in fisheries management. The analysis used is stakeholder analysis. The results of the study show that: Stakeholder groups involved in fisheries management are subjects, bystanders, actors, and players.

This research aims to measure and compare the moral hazard behaviour of micro and small enterpris... more This research aims to measure and compare the moral hazard behaviour of micro and small enterprises' debtors within Purwokerto area on Productive Business Loan scheme. This scheme was choosen because of the highest Non Performing Loan (NPL) among others. The data were collected from 127 debitors by using simple random sampling technique. Rating scale method was used to measure the moral hazard behaviours of debtors through questionnaire and later comparing them to study how serious the noncompliance rate in repaying off their credits. This research finds that (1) Generally, the moral hazard behaviour tends to be medium-to-high, (2) The highest moral hazard should be attributed to debitors in Purbalingga followed by those in Banjarnegara, Purwokerto, and Cilacap. Then, it suggests that (1) all bank branches need to pay more attentions to their debitors because their moral hazard behaviours have been medium-to-high. (2) Each branch needs to apply specific treatments to the debitors to improve debitors' installments, i.e building lending relationship as one way of exploring soft information which emphasizes informal approaches, (3) It should be important to design integrated training and practices for bank officers in order to build up their sense of psychological skills in public relationship in order to handle, in turn, those risky debtors.

The focus of this research is the effects of hair production activities of nucleous-plasma partnership as part of hair production system. It has been proven that this industry benefits many parts of societies and assists local government program in reducing unemployment and increasing social welfare by labour absorption. However negative externalities have already occured in social and economic views. This research takes samples of 2 factories, 5 plasmas, and 25 workers. The methods using in this research are Dollar-based Ecosystem Valuation Methods. The results show that there are degradation of social interaction among internal family community, reduction of children’s spirit and motivation to achieve high education level, and increasing waste water that endangers to ecosystem.Keywords: Externalities, Haircraft Industry, Nucleus-Plasma, Social Interaction, Waste Water.
Hair craft product is one of the best creative industry products in Purbalingga regency. It has c... more Hair craft product is one of the best creative industry products in Purbalingga regency. It has comparative advantage among such products produced in other regencies in Central Java Province. There are two scales of this industry; large and micro-small-medium. In the large, there are two production systems. Firstly, workers come directly to the workplace in the factory, and secondly, workers do the jobs in some workpaces in different locations as parts of factory—plasma core partnership. This study is aimed to analyze value chain of price determining formed in plasma core partnership system thus identify which sub producer has the highest margin and becomes a price driver. There are three levels of sub producers; factory, plasma, and worker. It took samples of 2 factories, 5 plasmas, and 25 workers. It applies margin share and price transmission methods. Margin share is used to explain which level of sub producers would take the highest profit. Price transmission is used to identify sub producer which becomes price driver. The results are (1) factory has the highest margin, and (2) plasma would be probably as the price driver.
