Analysis of Base Subsectors and Leading Agricultural Commodities in Sekadau Regency, West Kalimantan Province

The contribution of agriculture which has increased each year has been encouraged to be a strategic area for the economic development of Sekadau Regency. However, weakness of planning policy, insufficient quantity, and quality of infrastructure are obstacles to developing strategic areas. This study aims to analyze the basis of sub-sectors and leading commodities of agriculture in Sekadau Regency. The research approach used an exploratory qualitative with descriptive analysis methods to get an overview of agricultural productivity and Location Quotient Analysis, Shift-Share Analysis, and Klassen Typology to get the leading commodities of agriculture. The results of the study show that the productivity level of the agricultural sub-sector in Sekadau Regency is quite diverse. Agro-industrial Development in Lamongan District, East Java, Indonesia

Lamongan District has considerable potential in the agricultural sector. However, the agricultural sector has not been able to generate added value in the regional development of Lamongan Regency. The high GDP of agriculture sector is not matched with the high GDP of industrial sector. This proves that the results of the agricultural sector has not been used optimally by the industrial sector. Mapping Commodities Production Level of Vegetables and Fruits in Kolaka District

Farming development in the agricultural sector in Kolaka District has challenges in markets, supply, and production. This study aimed to analyze seasonal cropland phenomena' scaling and distribution principles, focusing on vegetable and fruit crops. This type of research is descriptive and quantitative. The research location is in Kolaka District, Southeast Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. The data collection technique used data from Kolaka District in Figures 2020 and the Kolaka Regional Medium-Term Development document. The data analysis technique uses a scaling method presented in the form of an interval table. Then the data is viewed from the point of view of the principle of economic geography distribution. Analysis Of Food Crops Sector In Central Java

Indonesia is an archipelagic country where half of the total land area has the potential to be an agricultural area, but only 46.17 percent has been cultivated. Indonesia or particularly Central Java area should have been a national food barn, however, rice imports is still continue to be carried out to meet the food needs of the population. Furthermore, This study not only finding out the backward and forward linkage, but also calculates the impact of the output multiplier and multiplier effects of the food crop sector in Central Java. This study also trying to determine the end of the food crop sector's demand changes to the output of other sectors. The method used is descriptive quantitative, which is an elaboration of the approach to analysis of Central Java input output 88 sectors in 2008 and 2013 which were aggregated into 24 sectors. The results showed that the food crop sub-sector in 2008 and 2013 had a low backward linkage and high forward linkages, however, this subsector only depends on a number of sectors. Flow on impact in output and income was much lower if compared to the other sectors, such as rice mill industry sector. The proportion of the final demand for the food crop sector fell by more than 10 percent both directly and indirectly.

THE ROLE OF THE AGRICULTURE SECTOR IN REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT DISPARITY IN PEGUNUNGAN ARFAK REGENCY

Developing inequality is a phenomenon that is always present in every process of development and varies between one region and another. Developing regions in Pegunungan Arfak regency still rely on the agricultural sector as a driving force of the development in their territory to reduce the disparity. This study aims to assess the potential of the agricultural leading sector at the Pegunungan Arfak regency, the level of the regional development disparity, as well as the role and the relevance of the leading sector of agriculture in regional development. The result based on LQ method, it showed that the leading sector of agriculture in Pegunungan Arfak regency consists of food crops sub sector, horticulture sub sector and plantation sub sector. At the same time, the result further suggested that the level of the development disparity, horizontally (among regions) showed high values refer to the Williamson Index about 0.86, as well as the level of the development imbalance, vertically (among community group's income) using the Gini Index had a value about 0.43. Agricultural leading sector is one of the factors that can be spurred on into a prime mover of the development in order to reduce the inequality of regional development.

Determination of superior agriculture commodities in North Sumatra Province

This study aims to determine the contribution of the agriculture sector in the economy in North Sumatra Province and to find out the superior agriculture commodities. The data used in this study is secondary data, namely data on the production of various agricultural commodities in North Sumatra Province and Indonesia for the period 2019-2020. Quantitative description analysis in the form of contribution analysis and growth analysis is used to determine the contribution of the agricultural sector in the economy in North Sumatra Province in 2016-2020. Static Location Quotient (SLQ) and Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) analyses are used to analyze superior agricultural commodities. The results show that the contribution of the agricultural sector has decreased to the economy in North Sumatra Province in the 2016-2020 period. Classification of Subsectors in the Agriculture Sector and Featured Agriculture Products in Badung District, Bali

The research objectives were: (1) To classify the subsectors in the Agriculture sector in Badung District into prime subsectors, potential subsectors, developing subsectors, and underdeveloped subsectors; (2) Identifying featured products, locality and specialization in each subsector in the Agriculture sector in Badung District. The types of data collected are quantitative and qualitative data, sourced from secondary sources and primary sources. Data collection methods are documentation, observation, and interviews. The Contribution of Agricultural Sectors on Economic Growth in West Java Province

Economic development is essentially freedom of speech and business that has the aim to improve people's lives, increase employment, smooth income distribution, improve regional relations and efforts to carry out economic activities from the primary sector to the secondary sector. The agricultural sector is larger than the agricultural sector is also relatively faster than the agricultural sector. Therefore, it is necessary to analyse the role of the agricultural sector in the West Java Province and the change in its role in the pace of economic growth using basic economic theory and regional growth theory so that it can be used as planning material that can enhance development that helps the government in the development of development planning. The Contribution of Agricultural Sector Oneconomic Districts/Cities in North Sumatra Province

The agricultural sector is one of the most potential sectors to the growth and development of national economy, both in terms of income and employment. The contribution of the agricultural sector in Indonesia's development is no doubt. The purpose of this research is to know the contribution of agriculture sector in North Sumatra and contribution of agriculture sector to GRDP in every district/city in North Sumatra. The data used in this research is secondary data. The data collected is time series data from 2010 until 2014. Data analysis using description method and Location Quotion (LQ) method. The results showed that the agricultural sector is the sector that gives the largest contribution in the economy of North Sumatra. However, this contribution tends to decline from 2010-2014. The agricultural sector is a basic sector in 23 districts/cities in North Sumatra. Five districts/cities have the highest agricultural sector LQ scores are Kabupaten Karo (LQ 2.35), Nias Barat (LQ 2.33), West Phakpak Barat (LQ 2.31), Simalungun (2.26) and Nias Utara (LQ 2.20).
