The study's goal was to investigate and assess the impact of the industrial sector's GDRB, the mining sector's GDRB, the agricultural sector's GRDB, the level of education, the level of poverty, the quantity of trash generated, and the rate of deforestation on air quality in Indonesia. Secondary data types include time series and cross section (panel data) covering 34 provinces in Indonesia from 2016 to 2019. Descriptive statistical research approach using a step-by-step panel data regression model (fixed or random effect) with Chow test, Hausman test, and Lagrange multiplier method. Then, partly and concurrently, the classical assumption test and the statistical test (t-test and F-test). This research found that GRDB growth in the industrial sector has a positive signific...

This research aims to determine the relationship between the Indonesian circular economy and waste management, as well as its influence on environmental quality and public health. The study technique used is the SEM-PLS approach, which is a multivariate analysis used to analyze several factors in order to determine the simultaneous influence of multiple variables on the item. The quantitative technique uses time series data from data sources like BPS, World Bank, and SIPSN (National Waste Management Information System). The findings indicate that an increase in population may lead to an increase in garbage creation, with the percentage of waste generated in urban regions being larger and the issues in urban areas being more complicated than in rural areas. Unmanaged waste creation will result in a decline in environmental quality and may create harmful pollutants, but if trash generation is correctly managed, environmental quality will be preserved. It is possible for waste management to promote public health by reducing the quantity of pollutants generated by trash. By adopting the circular economy idea in the 3R (Reduce-Reused-Recycle) application, effective and efficient waste management may boost people's income. The potential of a circular economy might generate investments in recycling (green entrepreneurs), which can promote jobs and preserve the environment. The government and business owners work together to promote distribution and marketing channels and to continue fostering independence.

Several statistical methods, such as Propensity Score Matching (PSM), Quantile Regression, and robust Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) models, are used to analyze the relationship between child labor, income, and education while controlling for confounding variables. The findings indicate that child labor is initially associated with reduced wages, but this association becomes insignificant when other variables, such as years of education, are considered. Longer educational periods mitigate the negative effects of child labor on wages. In addition, the analysis reveals a tradeoff between child labor and educational attainment, highlighting the impact of child labor on education. Access to economic resources, however, mitigates this tradeoff, highlighting the importance of economic factors in children's decision-making. The study highlights the significance of child protection measures and effective socioeconomic policies to guarantee children's access to education and enhance their opportunities. It provides valuable insights into the effects of child labor on education and the role of economic factors in determining how children allocate their time.

Each type of mask has its advantages, and each individual has different considerations when choosing the mask they will buy and use. Primary data were obtained from survey questionnaires, with the qualified participants being income earners. Using a snowball sampling technique, a total of 1144 people were selected as participants from 14 Indonesian provinces. Data collection was carried out and questionnaires were distributed through Google Forms and a WhatsApp group, respectively, for 7 days. The results showed that the WTP value of cloth and disposable masks was significantly influenced by similar variables, including age, education, income level, number of household members, activities outside the home, and the presence of comorbidities. All the variables had similar effects on the WTP value of cloth and disposable masks. The abs...

But in the Province of West Kalimantan, there are still five districts with poverty rates that are above the average national rate, namely Melawi, Landak, Ketapang, Sintang, and North Kayong districts. The purpose of this study is to estimate the relationship between government transfers which are proxied by the amount of GAT (General Allocation Transfer) Funds, economic growth, and the quality of human resources in terms of education and health which are proxied by the average years of schooling and public-health insurance membership. Once these factors can be identified, it is hoped that the government will find it easier to reduce poverty levels. Based on Nested Test, model that passes the goodness of fit test is The Common Effect model so this model is used in estimating and interpreting in this research. The implication is that forest ecosystem services are considered as an economic asset / economic capital. the concept of value used in the valuation is the concept of the value of output. Though the forest ecosystem services has the characteristics of a sustainable dynamic and as part of the life supporting system including the ability resilience and self-terrific capacity. So that the forest ecosystem is no longer seen as economic assets, but with the characteristics of the dynamic and sustainable forest ecosystem is seen as natural or natural capital assets. The current perspective marginalize other forest ecosystem functions, such as socioeconomic functions. Whereas the concept of an insurance value of forest ecosystems is not just the case as seen from the perspective as natural capital, but the role of social values in maintaining the sustainability of forest ecosystems is crucial, as reflected by the presence of heritage value, and existence value. So that the insurance value of the forest ecosystem occurs because the forest ecosystem serves as a natural asset / natural and social capital assets / social capital.

Reducing the area of forest area or deforestation can, of course, have a detrimental impact on the environment which in turn can disrupt the sustainability of development itself. Deforestation has ecological, economic and social impacts. The higher the rate of deforestation, it will cause the potential impact will also increase. West Kalimantan experienced a fairly high level of deforestation. This gives an indication that the impact caused by deforestation in West Kalimantan has a relatively high potential. In other words, deforestation causes losses including economic losses. Related to this, the research question is how much economic value is the loss caused by deforestation in West Kalimantan? This research has 2 (two) objectives: first, calculating the economic costs of deforestation in West Kalimantan during the period 2009-2015, and second, analyzing the effect of the economic costs ...

This is supported by the target of opening 200,000 ha of new oil palm plantations in West Kalimantan Province until 2034. Meanwhile, deforestation is the most critical climate change issue in tropical countries including Indonesia. This research examines the feasibility of clearing forest areas to be converted to palm oil plantations. This research employs the insurance approach to assess the benefits of forest ecosystems. Based on the calculation of the cost-benefits of financial and environmental feasibility, it is found that the protection of forest ecosystems is more feasible than opening palm oil plantations. However, based on the socioeconomic cost-benefit calculation results, it is found that opening palm oil plantations is more feasible to implement than ecosystem protection activities. Finally, from the calculation of the total benefits-cost financial, environmental, and socioeconomic feasibility, it is found that forest ecosystem protection activities are more feasible to implement than opening palm oil plantations. Another finding stated that an opening of 10,000 ha forest area for palm oil plantations would cause 6.4401 times more damage than the benefits that might be obtained if 10,000 ha of forest area ecosystem is not converted into a palm oil plantation area.
