Health professionals have an obligation to provide assistance and care to people whose lives are ... more Health professionals have an obligation to provide assistance and care to people whose lives are in danger; This, taking into account that the supreme purpose of this profession is to preserve human life, which is why the protection of the life and health of the patient, as well as his physical integrity, is under his responsibility; However, in spite of these maxims, it has been unfortunately observed that the actions of health professionals do not always adhere to the rules and procedures established for this matter. Inappropriate or incorrect action on their part is capable of causing harm to the patient, known as medical malpractice. In our environment (public health), there are various justifications for health personnel with which they try to dilute this responsibility assigned in the maxim mentioned above, such as: lack of personnel, lack of therapeutic supplies, lack of adequate instruments, etc.). However, this does not omit the incredible incidence of malpractice that is generated in health institutions, derived mainly from ignorance of current legislation in the medical act. Medical malpractice resulting from negative actions is framed in the modalities of negligence, recklessness and incompetence, which derive in various types of responsibilities that can be imposed on health professionals, whether administrative, civil or criminal, which will be determined according to the damage caused. In this sense, the purpose of this paper is to present the panorama of the responsibility of health professionals in Mexico, which, as will be seen, is not limited to the actions of physicians alone, as is commonly thought, but is extended to nurses, technicians, assistants and practitioners (Undergraduate Medical Interns, Interns in Social Service and Residents of the various specialties) with the sole purpose of raising awareness in this sector and generating greater adherence to the legislation that allows us to practice a safe profession. This paper focuses on an analysis of what we consider to be functions and bibliographic elements that should be fully known by health personnel in order to improve the quality of care and, above all, in order to exercise a safe medical practice based on lex artis and lex artis ad hoc for each particular case and avoiding the practice of defensive medicine that often conditions the poor decision-making that perpetuates the pathological state of patients.

Introduction: In the face of the new health emergency due to SARS-COV-2, the Mexican Social Secur... more Introduction: In the face of the new health emergency due to SARS-COV-2, the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) Spanish acronym, implements the Institutional Strategic Plan for Contingency Care due to COVID-19, which defines the modes of action in preparation and response in the presence and sustained SARS-COV-2 disease transmission cases Data envelopment analysis makes it possible to estimate the technical efficiency of service production systems. Objective: to estimate the technical efficiency of the hospital units of the Eastern Mexico State Regional Decentralized Administrative Operation Body of the IMSS (Spanish acronym) in the response to the SARS-COV-2 health contingency from March 2020 to March 2021. Methods: The COOPER Methodological Ordering was applied to define the input-oriented BCC model and estimate the hospitals' technical efficiency in the treatment response of COVID-19 during 1st and 2nd periods of highest incidence.

Introducción: la COVID-19 en el embarazo puede incrementar el riesgo de complicaciones debido a l... more Introducción: la COVID-19 en el embarazo puede incrementar el riesgo de complicaciones debido a los cambios cardiorrespiratorios e inmunológicos propios de la gestación. Objetivo: reportar la caracterización epidemiológica de la COVID-19 en población obstétrica mexicana. Material y métodos: estudio de cohorte en embarazadas con prueba positiva para COVID-19 que fueron seguidas hasta la resolución del embarazo y un mes después. Resultados: 758 mujeres embarazadas fueron incluidas en el análisis. La media de edad en las madres fue 28.8 ± 6.1 años; la mayoría trabajadoras 497 (65.6%) y de origen urbano (482, 63.6%); el grupo sanguíneo más común fue O 458 (63.0%); 478 (63.0%) fueron primigestas, y más del 25% padecía comorbilidades; las semanas de gestación promedio al contagio fueron 34.4 ± 5.1 semanas; solo 170 gestantes (22.4%) recibieron vacunación; la vacuna más frecuente fue BioNTech Pfizer (96, 60%); no hubo eventos adversos graves atribuibles a la vacunación. La edad gestacional media al nacer fue de 35.4 ± 5.2 semanas; el 85% de los embarazos se interrumpieron por cesárea; la complicación más frecuente fue la prematurez con 406 (53.5%), seguida de preeclampsia con 199 (26.2%); hubo 5 casos de muerte materna y 39 casos de muerte perinatal. Conclusiones: la COVID-19 en el embarazo aumenta el riesgo de parto prematuro, preeclampsia y muerte materna. Al menos en esta serie la vacunación contra COVID-19 no mostró riesgo para las mujeres embarazadas y sus recién nacidos.

The COVID-19 pandemic severely affected higher education. Since social distancing and confinement... more The COVID-19 pandemic severely affected higher education. Since social distancing and confinement were used as sanitary measurements, universities shut their doors and countries limited academic exchange by closing borders. Psychological well-being or eudaimonic perspective focuses on meaning and self-fulfillment. The practical implications of these data, pushed some universities around the world to implement well-being activities and curriculum modifications meant to promote self-care, lower stress, and generate social support for medical apprentices, with resources, infrastructure, and evaluation; but also, to move from concern to reaction and therefore, to prevention. The disease provoked by the new coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2 since December 2019 placed students' mental well-being in the foreground. From a systematic review of 1316 articles published between 2019 y 2021, 126 of them in their complete version were picked as they met the inclusion criteria to accomplish the meta-analysis of 41, which involved 36´608 medical students in 22 countries.

Now, according to etiology, Ruiz and Arteaga [1] also delimit the different factors or causes that can produce cerebral palsy, according to prenatal (during the baby's gestation), perinatal (during the baby's birth) and postnatal (after birth, before the brain reaches its full maturity) factors. The health personnel as well as the person in charge of the patient must work together to detect or decode the patient's needs, which turns the work into a symbolism that must be worked on and reinforced without exceptions, since it is what links us to the patient and the patient to us.

The importance of discourse for society is enormous since they fall into communicative processes ... more The importance of discourse for society is enormous since they fall into communicative processes which, through reflections, use the elaboration of ideas that appear in the collective imagination, since socio-political and economic conditions dictate the schemes by which the discourse generates processes of meaning, interpretation and reproduction of everyday life. With this approach we can observe that aspects of national interest such as education and health, for example, are crossed by the way in which phenomena in these fields are explained, described or problematized. The objective is to make an analysis on the influence of discourse for the perpetuity of obesity, to account for how groups console and support obesity and to understand the impact that obesity generates on the subject itself, from generic aspects such as aesthetics, identity and belonging and specifics such as health and nutrition. To understand why Obesity is an important phenomenon, it is necessary to highlight the fact that it is not only a medical aspect, Torres and Rojas [1] assure "Although overweight and obesity impact people, it also has consequences on development. economic and human capital of countries, mainly low-income, ranging from productivity to the costs generated by its treatment. La TCCB en grupo ha demostrado incidir sobre la depresión. Se utiliza poco en diálisis, en donde la modalidad individual es más accesible. Objetivo: Evaluar el efecto de la TCCB individual sobre la depresión leve a moderada que favorece la sobrecarga de volumen en HDC.

The objective is to reflect on the implications of the Human Resource of health in the care of COVID-19. Arguing that health work in the urgent situation of the pandemic can generate stress as a consequence. The intervention to temper the spread of the virus makes human resources vulnerable to health, these repercussions are exalted by working hours and overwork. It delves into the problem of stress as part of mental health and the daily work of human resources. It concludes with a series of suggestions that could contribute to the phenomenon of stress in human health resources.

La impugnación del virus es síntoma del ser, es quizá una manifestación de las pulsiones, hay una... more La impugnación del virus es síntoma del ser, es quizá una manifestación de las pulsiones, hay una angustia manifiesta, esta epidemia refleja una pandemia en el eje de lo psíquico, no sólo por la cuestión de lo que implica el virus, sino por la abertura que realiza el propio virus COVID-19 entre el sujeto en la cultura, el miedo, el encierro con uno mismo y la muerte. Esta abertura que brota del sujeto es sin duda un reflejo de la espinosa forma en la que la historia (y la historia de las amenazas globales) amalgama al sujeto para mutarlo a conveniencia del-hoy-mercado. Para entender al sujeto ante la pandemia y su esperanza por regresar a su normalidad, esta idea de la vacuna, de acomodar ciertas costumbres, plantear nuevas y de esperar viejas son formas de mermar el padecimiento del sujeto ante su miseria expuesta en su habitación, confinado, sin contacto. ¡Qué terrible tener que lidiar con uno mismo en épocas donde ya no hay sino un todos!.

Esclarecer las posibilidades y alcances del análisis pues el cuerpo es lugar de saber y hay un saber en juego, la singularidad del paciente genera retórica del síntoma. Estas aproximaciones plantean una relación indisoluble ante el síntoma, el cuerpo y el saber que se pone en juego con el paciente.

Hoy en día pensar en el anarquismo es casi sinónimo de desobediencia, de un acto de violencia en contra de la mirada del otro igual.

The importance of discourse for society is enormous since they fall into communicative processes ... more The importance of discourse for society is enormous since they fall into communicative processes which, through reflections, use the elaboration of ideas that appear in the collective imagination, since socio-political and economic conditions dictate the schemes by which the discourse generates processes of meaning, interpretation and reproduction of everyday life. With this approach we can observe that aspects of national interest such as education and health, for example, are crossed by the way in which phenomena in these fields are explained, described or problematized. The objective is to make an analysis on the influence of discourse for the perpetuity of obesity, to account for how groups console and support obesity and to understand the impact that obesity generates on the subject itself, from generic aspects such as aesthetics, identity and belonging and specifics such as health and nutrition. To understand why Obesity is an important phenomenon, it is necessary to highlight the fact that it is not only a medical aspect, Torres and Rojas [1] assure "Although overweight and obesity impact people, it also has consequences on development. economic and human capital of countries, mainly low-income, ranging from productivity to the costs generated by its treatment. La presión arterial (PA) antes de la diálisis es el indicador clínico más utilizado para inferirlo. La depresión favorece la sobrecarga de volumen. La TCCB en grupo ha demostrado incidir sobre la depresión. Se utiliza poco en diálisis, en donde la modalidad individual es más accesible. Objetivo: Evaluar el efecto de la TCCB individual sobre la depresión leve a moderada que favorece la sobrecarga de volumen en HDC.

The objective is to reflect on the implications of the Human Resource of health in the care of COVID-19. Arguing that health work in the urgent situation of the pandemic can generate stress as a consequence. The intervention to temper the spread of the virus makes human resources vulnerable to health, these repercussions are exalted by working hours and overwork. It delves into the problem of stress as part of mental health and the daily work of human resources. It concludes with a series of suggestions that could contribute to the phenomenon of stress in human health resources.

La impugnación del virus es síntoma del ser, es quizá una manifestación de las pulsiones, hay una... more La impugnación del virus es síntoma del ser, es quizá una manifestación de las pulsiones, hay una angustia manifiesta, esta epidemia refleja una pandemia en el eje de lo psíquico, no sólo por la cuestión de lo que implica el virus, sino por la abertura que realiza el propio virus COVID-19 entre el sujeto en la cultura, el miedo, el encierro con uno mismo y la muerte. Esta abertura que brota del sujeto es sin duda un reflejo de la espinosa forma en la que la historia (y la historia de las amenazas globales) amalgama al sujeto para mutarlo a conveniencia del-hoy-mercado. Para entender al sujeto ante la pandemia y su esperanza por regresar a su normalidad, esta idea de la vacuna, de acomodar ciertas costumbres, plantear nuevas y de esperar viejas son formas de mermar el padecimiento del sujeto ante su miseria expuesta en su habitación, confinado, sin contacto. ¡Qué terrible tener que lidiar con uno mismo en épocas donde ya no hay sino un todos!.

Esclarecer las posibilidades y alcances del análisis pues el cuerpo es lugar de saber y hay un saber en juego, la singularidad del paciente genera retórica del síntoma. Estas aproximaciones plantean una relación indisoluble ante el síntoma, el cuerpo y el saber que se pone en juego con el paciente.

The interaction between medical expertise and student ignorance reflects the focus of direct pedagogy, the fundamental problems that arise require attention. There are few works that evaluate violence in health institutions caused by staff against the staff itself, this phenomenon has had little visibility, however, there are studies that show important data. The institutional order of medicine, the effects on professionals are of various circumstances, it dissolves in the meanings of medical staff, residents are a vulnerable group in the IMSS given the socio-political and academic conditions in which they find themselves - for example- Since in many occasions these groups are opposed to the cooking of the subjects with greater hierarchy, this is impotent for doctors because they must assume the conditions to continue with their academic and professional development.
