It attempts to highlight the function of such places as cognitive and reconstructive frames that signify the life, memories and biographical plans of the narrator, the shaping but also the reception of a personal and social identity by herself as also by others. It attempts to point to the meaning of such places not only in the sense of the scenography (setting) of a life and its narration, but also as the defining elements in the trajectory and self-knowledge of an immigrant.

At first, the theory deals with the concept of effectiveness from its initial appearance in the business domain to its adoption by the dominant pedagogical narrative of the 20th & 21st centuries. Following, the article examines the concept of the "principal leader" and its characteristic features in comparison to those of the "traditional" and the "charismatic" principal, as presented in the relevant literature. At the same time, this article gives prominence to the ideological and political function of the theoretical argumentation, which attempts to scientifically support the need to establish and welcome the new notion of school leadership.
Keywords: effectiveness theory, manager-leader, hierarchical management model, symbolic power, ideology

Keywords: arts courses, liberal education, instrumental and critical literacy, empowerment and emancipation, cultural reproduction and resistance.

Having selected as axes of analysis a) the character of the Greek Revolution, b) the National Assembly of Epidaurus, c) the civil conflicts, d) the outcome of Revolution, we therefore tend to regard comparatively the two historical narratives, highlighting both the explicit and the latent aspects of ideology and the political viewpoint they are carrying and thus presented and evaluated in the historical events in each one of the books.

Subsequently, the paper presents the "trajectory of suffering" in the biographical narrative of a second-generation woman of Albanian origin studying at a Greek university and goes on to trace her educational route from a stigmatized national to a transnational identity. The analysis clarifies K.'s different experiences in the course of her educational trajectory from primary school to university, depicting a slow and difficult displacement from the state of insecurity, shame and concealment of her national identity to that of self-esteem and emancipation.

We shall present the cooperative procedures in the formation of the aesthetics and the material of the periodical, the team’s democratic context of functioning in its weekly meetings, the initiatives, self-motivation and assumption of responsibilities on the part of its members, the self-reflective and deliberative processes employed in the improvement of such initiatives, the interaction between educators and pupils, as that developed in the course of the formulation and publication of the four (4) issues of the periodical (January/February/April 2021-March 2022). Keeping in mind the history of school publications (Célestin Freinet, Alexander Neill) and the movement of progressive education in general, this presentation will consider issues pertaining to humanizing pedagogy and critical literacy, taken as a process encompassing, on the one hand, the critical stance vis-à-vis whatever a pupil reads, sees or hears and, on the other, the approach taken towards different cultural viewpoints, the discovery and development of personal interests, though also the making of decisions that function in the interests of the team and in that of the school community.
KEYWORDS: Bookbusters, critical literacy, humanizing pedagogy, self-expression & creation, psychosocial experience.
