Contextual learning have a need learn of source for achieve instructional learning. On of learn of source be it is a media. Media is one of the main component in the learning in addition to the objectives, instructionals materials, method, and evaluation, then the teacher should use the media in learning process. Use of instructional media in general do not meet the needs of student based on the characteristics of receiving instructional materials in audio, visual, and audiovisual through the integration of some basic competencies. Thefore, the researcher inted to produce products in the from of hypertext-based multimedia as instructional media that can be used in contextual learning by presenting the thematic instructional in the sub-theme my food is healthy and nutritious using method research and development. Theacher and 4 th grade student were included as a subject of research.data collection was done by interview, documentation study, judgement, observation, and questionnaires. The design of product declared eligible to be tested through expert validation and revision. The trial conducted twice. Product trial involving 20 student from public elementary school of 2 Nagarawangi. Based on the result of trials product, the product still need improvement. Product usage trials involving 30 student from public elementary school of 1 Nagarawangi. From product usage test result, in can be concluded that the product can be used as an alternative tho the use of media that provide opportunities for theachers to deliver comprehensive information effectively by integrating basic competencies to meet the meed of students based on the characteristics of the receiving instructional materials which is expected to motivate the student to make connections between knowledge and its application in daily life of student.the final product in the from of CD Learning Sub-theme my Food Healthy and Nutritious for 4 th grade elementary school with a use manual book.
