The characteristic of fairness is a virtuous one that adolescents should possess as capital to in... more The characteristic of fairness is a virtuous one that adolescents should possess as capital to interact with their social environment. However, no validity of evidence supports the score interpretation of a fairness character scale. The purpose of this study is to obtain evidence for the validity of the scale for adolescents. The research data were collected from 532 adolescents in Indonesia, ranging in age between 14 and 18 years. Scale development covers all stages of the process by assessing the required validity and reliability of evidence. Based on the ratings obtained from the scale, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis were performed to identify the internal structure of the validity evidence. The results of the factor analysis found that the scale consisted of four factors, namely "exploitation", "appreciation", "social role", and "open behaviour". Cronbach alpha's internal consistency value was calculated to be .84. After completing all stages of the scale development, 20 items related to the characteristic of fairness were obtained. Therefore, the scale can be used by positive psychology developers to measure and identify the development of fairness in adolescents in Indonesia. The scale will complement the previously developed character strength measurement tools.

To accompany counselees towards goodness, counselors need to have good expectancy, so that they can bring counselee thinking toward goodness. Good thinking skills, based on a good heart condition. Heart as the center of all elements of human beings. The heart must be maintained by various tips such as those delivered by Sunan Bonang (Islamic Ulama), namely; 1) reading the Qur'an and its meanings, 2) establishing night prayers (tahajjud) 3) gathering with pious people, 4) multiplying fasting 5) remembrance night.

This research was conducted to find out and understand the meaning of pi'il pesenggiri as one of ... more This research was conducted to find out and understand the meaning of pi'il pesenggiri as one of the dimensions of Lampung's ulun identity in the development of indigenous counseling. The method used is a systematic review of a number of articles about pi'il pesenggiri in reputable journals. A search on journal databases such as DOAJ, microsoft academic, and researchgate found 234 journals with the keyword pi'il pesenggiri. Furthermore, the journals were collected for a screening process and their eligibility according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria determined by the researcher. Based on the screening process, 5 articles were obtained which were the subject of research studies. The results showed that pi'il pesenggiri is the philosophy of life of ulun Lampung which refers to self-esteem and honor. Includes aspects of 1) Bejuluk Adek, 2) Nemui Nyimah, 3) Nengah Nyappur, and 4) Sakai Sambaiyan. The value of pi'il pesenggiri can be a potential in the development of customary extension. These values can be the basis for increasing the multicultural competence of counselors in terms of understanding and knowledge of local wisdom. This is based on the content possessed by pi'il pesenggiri for ulun Lampung in the form of divine values (holiness), religious values, spiritual values, moral values, intellectual values, individual values, social values, and material values. These values can be re-condensed into divine values, human values, and life values.

Objectives: This study aims to obtain a critical analysis of local culture-based counseling with a systematic review as a method. Method: This research uses an article search engine sourced from a database; spinger, sagepub and doaj. Literature review found 5 journals related to indigenous culture and cultural therapy with a qualitative approach. Based on the criteria of inclusion and exclusion as a material consideration in selecting articles. Finding: The results obtained indicate that culture provides an important meaning in the counseling process, because counseling is basically a cultural gathering. To understand culture, therapists need to understand what is normative in that cultural group. Conclusion: By understanding the cultural aspects of each individual, it is possible to design approaches that accommodate the power of culture with counseling theories that are adaptive to the culture in which counseling is practiced.
