The participants of this community service are the university students in Madiun. This activity was done through discussion and simulation in Zoom meeting. It was started with planning and socialization for a month through social media. The simulation was done through Zoom meeting in a day. Evaluation of this activity was done by giving questionnaire for all participants at the end of the training. The results of the evaluation showed that the training of article citation and reference manager in writing article benefits for the university students in writing appropriate APA 7th edition-citation.

Composite materials have many advantages, one of which is lighter weight and corrosion resistance. In this study, composites made from glass fiber were carried out with variations in the arrangement of laminates, in order to select the material which was then applied to the manufacture of the inspection lorry body. Composites were made using the hand lay-up method. Tensile test specimens made according to ASTM D-638. The results of the tensile test show that the highest tensile strength of glass fiber composite material for the inspection lorry body is 5.45 MPa and the lowest tensile strength is 4.62 MPa. Tunnel walls in underground construction use pre-cast (segment) concrete materials arranged in a circle directly into one ring segment by TBM. Tunnel checks are needed to be the basis of diagnosis in tunnel care. Tunnel maintenance is carried out to maintain the condition of the tunnel to function properly and safely to be operated in a sustainable manner in accordance with the predicted load, including: the burden of soil or overburden, dead load and live load, load due to water pressure, earthquake load, and other loads that will affect tunnel construction. Memasang dan melepas penambat di Indonesia menggunakan alat manual yaitu palu dan panpuller sehingga membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama dan kurang efektif, sehingga pengembangan alat ditujukan agar dapat meminimalisir penggunaan tenaga manusia, lebih efektif dan tidak memerlukan banyak waktu untuk memasang dan melepas penambat. Pembuatan alat pemasang dan pelepas penambat berbasis hidrolik ini dilakukan pengembangan alat lama menjadi alat baru. The reference used for the design of the bridge is the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation No. 60 of 2012 on Technical Requirements of Railways, AREMA and the rules of the European Union. The loading of the superstructure of the railway bridge includes dead load, live load, shock load, horizontal load, and wind load. This bridge profile needs analysis using the influence line method with SAP 2000 application. The result of superstructure analysis of 100 meter railway bridge type of lower truss frame shows that the size for structure profile, stringer, and cross girder must be specially designed by utilizing SM400 type steel plate with welding. With the maximum load that occurs at the knuckle is 7473 N. Testing is done using Solidworks simulation software. The material used is AISI 1045 with allowable stress of 450 MPa. The results of the analysis that came out of the simulation were the maximum stress values, displacement, and the factor of safety. The maximum stress results in static conditions that the tool is only able to withstand loads up to 7000 N with a value of 3,540 , and does not exceed the maximum allowable stress limit of the tool, which is 5,300 . The result of the loading is a change in the shape of the stem, namely displacement or deflection. The results obtained from the deflection of 1.3 mm. It is a case study at Indonesian Railway Polytechnic. The participants were 48 students of the Railway Mechanical Technology program observed during eight online TOEFL practising classes. The data were collected using observation note to describe the implementation of e-learning technologies, comparing each score to determine the effectiveness of the technologies and a questionnaire to identify students’ feedback. Pengembangan lori inspeksi di Politeknik Perkeretaapian Indonesia Madiun terus dilakukan mulai dari motor penggerak, roda, frame, bodi, rubber dumper dan panel surya sebagai sumber energi utama. Motor penggerak menggunakan motor listrik BLDC (Brushless direct current) dengan daya 2680 Watt, arus 35 A dan kecepatan putar 4250 Rpm yang ramah lingkungan. The method used is to calculate the dimensions of the turbine diameter. The results of the calculations show that the savonius wind turbine diameter is 60 cm with a height of 60 cm. The maximum voltage generated is 12.26 V with a current of 0.52 A at a wind speed of 5.7 m/s.

Inspection lorry repairs are carried out on the wheels, chassis, drive and body.The new lorry wheels are made of structural iron to reduce the total weight from 148 kg to 119 kg. The size of the wheel conus is the difference between the outer and inner diameter of 30 mm to minimize wheel friction with rails in the curved region. The chassis uses the ledder frame model with emphasis on the strength of 44.29 MPa and 0.095 MPa deflection to get optimal and reliable results on the 1067 track. The material uses galvanized hollow type iron weighing 125 kg. The environmentally friendly drive used in the railway inspection is an BLDC electric motor (brushless direct current) with a capacity of 2000 watts of power, a current of 35A and a rotational speed of 4250 Rpm. This study intends to examine the curvature of the railroad by comparing the results of measuring arrows manually and the use of digital measuring stations and Messreg CLS. This study also tries to provide recommendations on arch maintenance plans so that the arch conditions can be optimized for trains to pass. The measurement results show that manual curvature measurements (arrows thread) with digital measuring devices (total station and CLS messeg) give results that vary from one another, although not significantly different. The measurement results with Total Station and Messreg CLS show an average value that is greater than the measurement results using Arrows thread. Track Holder refers to the efforts of redesigning spoor holder device that has been sold in forei... more Track Holder refers to the efforts of redesigning spoor holder device that has been sold in foreign market. Looking at the use of hammer that causes movement and damage on both the holder and the track, the manufacture of the track holder is intended to attain precise spoor width (1,067 mm) without causing any damage to the rail components under affordable budget. The manufacture of the track holder should go through three stages namely preparation, assembly/production and finishing. The track holder device that has been designed consists of two motor systems namely the manual system and the electric system. The dynamo that has been installed is Wiper Colt 130 W and 12 V 3 A Battery. Then, the weight per unit of the device is 4 kg while the length of the device is 1.30 m. The track holder device is able to sustain weight up to 3,282 kg. The prototype of the device was tested on the rail track with three devices and 2-bearing gap. The results of the test show that the track holder device is able to shift the rail track when the fastenings from all of the six bearings are uninstalled. The cost of manual track holder manufacture is IDR 1,229,000.00 while the cost of electric track holder manufacture is IDR 405,350.00. In other words, the track holder device is prominent in terms of technology and price but the use of electric track holder device should be evaluated further on the use of ratio gear and dynamo.

Checking elevation differences due to deflection on the railroad (skilu) is needed to ensure the ... more Checking elevation differences due to deflection on the railroad (skilu) is needed to ensure the safety of train travel. Skilu measurements can be done with a measuring train and a manual densometer. For manual measurement, we need tools that can measure dynamic elections more accurately and efficiently. This research is intended to make these tools using ultrasonic proximity sensors with data processing by a microcontroller. The measurement accuracy of the experimental results of this tool is obtained by comparing the densometer deflection gauge. The results show that the tool can measure elections every 0.1 second (realtime) with an accuracy rate of 98.84%. In addition to the election measurements, this tool can also measure the speed of a passing train and the rail temperature when a train passes. The measurement results can help optimize the care needed for the election that occurs at the observation site.

Composite materials have many advantages, one of which is lighter weight and corrosion resistance. In this study, composites made from glass fiber were carried out with variations in the arrangement of laminates, in order to select the material which was then applied to the manufacture of the inspection lorry body. Composites were made using the hand lay-up method. Tensile test specimens made according to ASTM D-638. The results of the tensile test show that the highest tensile strength of glass fiber composite material for the inspection lorry body is 5.45 MPa and the lowest tensile strength is 4.62 MPa. With the maximum load that occurs at the knuckle is 7473 N. Testing is done using Solidworks simulation software. The material used is AISI 1045 with allowable stress of 450 MPa. The results of the analysis that came out of the simulation were the maximum stress values, displacement, and the factor of safety. The maximum stress results in static conditions that the tool is only able to withstand loads up to 7000 N with a value of 3,540 , and does not exceed the maximum allowable stress limit of the tool, which is 5,300 . The method used is to calculate the dimensions of the turbine diameter. The results of the calculations show that the savonius wind turbine diameter is 60 cm with a height of 60 cm. The maximum voltage generated is 12.26 V with a current of 0.52 A at a wind speed of 5.7 m/s.

Inspection lorry repairs are carried out on the wheels, chassis, drive and body.The new lorry wheels are made of structural iron to reduce the total weight from 148 kg to 119 kg. The size of the wheel conus is the difference between the outer and inner diameter of 30 mm to minimize wheel friction with rails in the curved region. The chassis uses the ledder frame model with emphasis on the strength of 44.29 MPa and 0.095 MPa deflection to get optimal and reliable results on the 1067 track. This study intends to examine the curvature of the railroad by comparing the results of measuring arrows manually and the use of digital measuring stations and Messreg CLS. This study also tries to provide recommendations on arch maintenance plans so that the arch conditions can be optimized for trains to pass. The measurement results show that manual curvature measurements (arrows thread) with digital measuring devices (total station and CLS messeg) give results that vary from one another, although not significantly different. Track Holder refers to the efforts of redesigning spoor holder device that has been sold in forei... more Track Holder refers to the efforts of redesigning spoor holder device that has been sold in foreign market. Looking at the use of hammer that causes movement and damage on both the holder and the track, the manufacture of the track holder is intended to attain precise spoor width (1,067 mm) without causing any damage to the rail components under affordable budget. The manufacture of the track holder should go through three stages namely preparation, assembly/production and finishing. The track holder device that has been designed consists of two motor systems namely the manual system and the electric system. The dynamo that has been installed is Wiper Colt 130 W and 12 V 3 A Battery. Then, the weight per unit of the device is 4 kg while the length of the device is 1.30 m. The track holder device is able to sustain weight up to 3,282 kg. The prototype of the device was tested on the rail track with three devices and 2-bearing gap. The results of the test show that the track holder device is able to shift the rail track when the fastenings from all of the six bearings are uninstalled. The cost of manual track holder manufacture is IDR 1,229,000.00 while the cost of electric track holder manufacture is IDR 405,350.00. In other words, the track holder device is prominent in terms of technology and price but the use of electric track holder device should be evaluated further on the use of ratio gear and dynamo.

Skilu measurements can be done with a measuring train and a manual densometer. For manual measurement, we need tools that can measure dynamic elections more accurately and efficiently. This research is intended to make these tools using ultrasonic proximity sensors with data processing by a microcontroller. The measurement accuracy of the experimental results of this tool is obtained by comparing the densometer deflection gauge. The results show that the tool can measure elections every 0.1 second (realtime) with an accuracy rate of 98.84%. In addition to the election measurements, this tool can also measure the speed of a passing train and the rail temperature when a train passes. The measurement results can help optimize the care needed for the election that occurs at the observation site.
