Following assessment Psychosocial interventions were provided inthe form of relapse prevention therapy sessions at the individual level and family Psychoeducation. Result: During the followups of 3 months, 6 months and 1 year after the Psychosocial treatment the individual was found to be abstinent with an improvement in work functioning. Conclusion: Relapse prevention therapy techniques have been effective in helping the client maintain abstinence. The client was also able to develop alternative ways of coping stressful situations.
