The nature of the 8-quinolinato ligand in various forms has been examined by ' 'N, '% and "'Sn NM... more The nature of the 8-quinolinato ligand in various forms has been examined by ' 'N, '% and "'Sn NMR spectroscopy,with evidence also from electronic spectroscopy. These forms include 8-quinolinol (HQ), 8-quinolinate, the 8-hydroxyquinolinium ion, 0-and Nmethyl derivatives, 8-methoxyquinoline (MeQ), the zwitterionic N-methylquinolinium-8olate and the N-methylquinolinium ion, and the chelating ligand in organotin(IV) complexes. The 15N shift from MeQ to HQ affords a measure of the intramolecular hydrogen bonding in HQ. The "N shifts and 'J("N'H) couplings afford criteria of chelation, and the 0-and Nmethyl compounds provide useful reference points for its assessment. Evidence for chelation is demonstrated in three groups of compounds,

This is further supported by the J(119" I 7Sn• 1 lC) coupling constants for these compounds.

ABSTRACT Fourteen new addition complexes of the type R2SnCl2 · 2 HOC6H4CHNR′ have been synthesiz... more ABSTRACT Fourteen new addition complexes of the type R2SnCl2 · 2 HOC6H4CHNR′ have been synthesized by the reactions of diorganotin dichlorides, R2SnCl2 (where R = Me, Et, n-Bu and Ph), with N-alkyl(aryl)salicylideneimines, HOC6H4CHNR′ (where R′ = Me, Et, n-Bu and Ph), in non-aqueous solvents. The complexes are non-electrolytes in nitrobenzene. Infrared and Mössbauer spectroscopic studies indicate an all-trans octahedral geometry for the complexes.

Objetiva-se identificar fatores da comunicação proxêmica no trabalho da enfermagem. Foi realizada... more Objetiva-se identificar fatores da comunicação proxêmica no trabalho da enfermagem. Foi realizada uma revisão integrativa cuja coleta de dados ocorreu nas bases Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde, Base de Dados de Enfermagem, Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online e Scientific Electronic Library Online, pelos descritores: enfermagem; comunicação em saúde; comportamento espacial. Amostra composta por seis artigos publicados entre 1971-2010 e dados organizados e posteriormente analisados e interpretados segundo fatores proxêmicos preconizados por Edward T. Hall: postura-sexo, eixo sociofugosociopeto, fatores cinésicos ou cinestésicos, código visual e volume da voz. Verifica-se convergência entre os estudos para todos os fatores, sendo a proxêmica mais utilizada no trabalho da enfermagem com aqueles sujeitos que não possuem ainda o dom da oralidade ou estão com a linguagem verbal comprometida. Há necessidade da Enfermagem ampliar a utilização da proxêmica como mais uma forma de comunicação para promover o cuidado.
