However, past research proposes that there is a significant relationship between the usage of social media and online political participation among youth. Many of those studies have inordinately relied on college students as samples rather than the entire population of youth with a vast amount of knowledge and experience in. Yet, only few researches have tried to uncover the tendencies of youth participation in formal political activities such as voting and party allegiance via the unprecedented social networking sites such as Facebook to address this issue, the study has employed multiple regression analysis to examine the correlation between use of Facebook, interactivity with politicians, Facebook information quality, political interest and offline political participation among Nigerian youth. This study has shown that Facebook use, interactivity with political figures, Facebook information quality and political interest significantly correlates with offline political participation. Social media allows marginalized youth to interact with friends and political figures, fostering their engagement in political issues, as well as enabling them to share and express their opinions thus draw youth participation in political activities such as voting. Incisively, Facebook serves as a gateway where youth can acquire political knowledge and information. It has become apparent that social media helps to lower the barriers and widen the scope of informal political activities.

The study finds that journalists in conjunction with policy makers are the catalyst for environmental information, whereas citizens who are pivotal in creating relevant public opinion on environmental issues are left behind. The study reveals that investigative reporting lacks in environmental coverage because most coverage are events driven which explains why environmental news is reported as straight news and as such journalists rely heavily on official sources rather than subsidiary sources. The study opines that for proper environmental coverage, journalists must choose sources from both main and subsidiary actors and revert to proactive, investigative and interpretive reporting so as to make environmental stories relatable to the intended audiences.

These three components are used by Prasad and Dev (2000) as identified by Aaker, (1991). Lamb & Low Jr. (2000) used the same mentioned three components of Aaker (1991). Therefore, for this study, the researcher intends to practice the similar three above mentioned attributes; brand awareness, brand acceptance and brand quality to determine the brand image of higher education (university level).

More precisely, communication theories have documented the media's ability to determine the agenda in society. The situational theory of problem solving is particularly interesting because it explains why and how individual members of society communicate during a problematic situation. This hypothesis has been evaluated in a variety of contexts to determine its efficacy. However, few studies have been conducted to examine the influence of communication from corporations or government to community members. The character of persons, particularly employees' information seeking and sharing behavior, has been significantly overlooked in the context of COVID-19. The purpose of this study is to investigate theoretically how employees process, seek, forward, filter, choose, and exchange information regarding COVID 19.
