Design: A number of 400 PE teachers from 9 counties of Romania were interviewed in connection with the online PE lesson during the Covid-19 pandemic. Thus, the proposed questionnaire contains two parts: one in which demographic data is requested and one containing 14 items requesting the specialized opinion regarding the online PE lesson. The likert scale was used in order to construct 5 answer options for each of the 14 items. Results: Teachers who said they approach these elements "Very Much" or "A lot" are below 3.6%. Those who answered that they approach them "Enough" are still quite few when it comes to learning/strengthening motor skills specific to sports games (8%), but their number increases when it comes to speed (17.3%) and endurance (22.8%). One may also notice that the sum of the percentages “A Littl...

This aims to provide students with a rational understanding of the objectives, principles and concepts underlying this discipline. Objective: The Covid-19 pandemic forced the Romanian government to move the educational process to the online environment. So, given this situation, we tried to find out if the PE teachers chose to teach theoretical content during this period. Procedure: A two-part questionnaire was designed for PE teachers: in the first part demographic information is requested, and in the second part, they were asked to provide answers to 8 items. For each item in the second part, teachers had to choose from 5 answer options built on the likert scale: , , , , . Results: The teachers said that they taught or nutritional knowledge (43%), behavioral knowledge 48% and information about famous athletes (46%)...

Therefore, as a result of this decline in agricultural productivity, changes in consumer prices and trade in comparative advantage occurred. This article aims to correlate the biophysical and socio-economic indicators in order to create an overall picture of the influence of climate change on agricultural efficiency. Climate change is different from one area to another and at regional level these changes and their effects may be less visible. However, variability and climate change can lead to the degradation of food security, especially in vulnerable areas. In this way, it is desirable to attract investments from internal or external funds for adaptation to climate change, as well as avoiding harmful effects on the agricultural crops and l...

The European Union's objectives is to reduce their negative impact on the environment and human health, and the natural resources. Currently, the waste is an existential issue in Romania, which is why you must identify economic solutions. In developing countries, reducing the amount of waste is one of the major challenges that must be solved to improve living conditions. Through the application of management in waste recycling, may contribute to urban development, but we must keep into account that waste management involves considerable costs. Finally, we specify that in order to adopt management strategies in the field of waste recycling are necessary debates and discussions nationally and internationally.

In this paper, I discuss a typical case of health difference between socioeconomic categories and the way an egalitarian approaches this case. I refer to an egalitarian who tries to optimize the degree in which people enjoy a good health. His aim is to maximize the level where people have a nearly equal health state or avoid the equal maximal amount of suffering caused by illness. The egalitarian reasoning is balanced against the priority view. My argument makes the case for prioritarianism which, I believe, morally outweigh egalitarianism while offering a solution which cannot be but welcomed by the egalitarian. Several consequences for health policy are discussed.

Moral bioenhancement refers broadly to the idea that we should use biomedical means, if available... more Moral bioenhancement refers broadly to the idea that we should use biomedical means, if available and safe, to extend or supplement the efforts of bettering our moral nature. These new means work directly on the biological level of emotions, motivations, and attitudes. While serving the same aim of ameliorating human interactions from a moral point of view, such direct and unconventional tools are expected to catch up with more traditional and indirect means of moral enhancement, such as education, socialization, parental supervision, wise public policy, as well as classical tools of fostering reason and decision-making, such as advancing knowledge and spreading reliable information. Moral bioenhancement supplements this repertoire of wellestablished means, helps strengthen morality, and is in the service of a better world. However, one of the most important objections against moral bioenhancement (Harris 2011) is that manipulations of human functioning at the biochemical or neuronal level undercut a person's freedom and moral reasoning. Because of deeprooted connections between reason, autonomy, and morality, praised by many philosophers, this criticism amounted to exposing a self-defeating feature of any attempt of what might be qualified as moral bioenhancement. If, as the proponents assume, the new envisioned techniques focus on suppressing or increasing the biological layer of emotions, motivations, and/or attitudes to shift the behavioral output in the right direction, the change into a better person seems to occur in ways that are at least dissociated from, if not at odds with, rational scrutiny and moral agency. In other words, enhancing morality through biotechnological means seems to obliterate a hard-to-avoid relation between the idea of morality and moral person on the one hand and reason and justification on the other. As John Harris puts it, "The intervention is designed to bypass reasoning and act directly on attitudes. When such attitudes are manipulated, not only is freedom subverted but also morality is bypassed." (Harris 2014, 372) A fundamental flaw lies at the heart of any attempt at moral bioenhancement: it can only take place in a manner that threatens to erode, generally and in the long term, the very idea of morality. Moral bioenhancement thus falls short of reaching the aim of supporting and safeguarding morality itself.

All three ethical projects attempt to overcome the moralizing tendencies of the past two centuries, by giving different insights into what a Postmoral approach should be. While the first two reject any universalistic approach to ethics, Jurgen Habermas shows that ethics consumes itself in the argumentative practice and the rational debate and it must rest on some sort of universal principle, which follows from the transcendental conditions of the practical discourse. They are all aware that historical development has forced us to recognize new features of the ethical discourse, such as its intrinsic aporetical character (Zygmunt Bauman), which requires us to pay more attention to values such as pluralism and reconciliation (Gilles Lipovetsky) and also to consider tolerance and respect for others according to the transcendent...

The new (knowledge-based) approach proposes the teaching of a theoretical component that provides information and complements the practical one. The students thus acquire a thorough understanding of the principles underlying physical activity and assimilate the knowledge needed to independently conduct their physical activity throughout their lives. Interventions targeting students from the first grade to the university level were taken into account, without setting any geographical or temporary limits. Then, we analyzed the way in which the theoretical content was adapted and implemented at each educational level. The tools used in the evaluation of the theoretical component were also presented. One of the major aims of European health policies of member states is to reduce the impact of the social determinants of health and the gap between socioeconomic groups. Method: We used the results of the EU-SILC Survey for 2005-2010 to compare the unmet needs for medical examination due to barriers of access (too expensive) in Romania and European Union. Using a simple linear regression model, we calculated the percentage of variation in self- reported unmet medical needs explained by the material deprivation in the EU countries, Croatia, Iceland, Norway, and Switzerland (N=31) in 2010. Results: We found that cost-related inequalities in accessing healthcare between different socioeconomic groups are greater in Romania than in the European Union. In Romania, these inequalities become even greater due to a significant gender gap. Material deprivation explains about two-thirds of data variability in 31 countries included in the analysis. Conclusions: In Romania, the socioeconomic status has a greater impact on the access to healthcare than the average impact in the European Union. The gap between Romania and European Union is unequally distributed over the socioeconomic groups with those with low social status carrying the burden resulting from the existing gap. The results of the study offer the image of a structurally inegalitarian society for Romania.
