Resultados: la tasa de publicaciones sobre rehabilitación en pacientes dializados ha aumentado co... more Resultados: la tasa de publicaciones sobre rehabilitación en pacientes dializados ha aumentado con el tiempo, así como los autores que han publicado sobre el tema, las revistas en distintas categorizaciones y los estudios emergentes en el área. La red de colaboraciones que existen entre los autores de distintos países se ha expandido, siendo Estados Unidos pionero en la producción científica relacionada a este tema. Conclusiones: con este estudio bibliométrico se logró revelar que la investigación sobre rehabilitación en pacientes dializados es un tema que ha ido creciendo en el tiempo y se puede concluir que aún faltan más estudios por realizar, para así tener una base más sólida sobre el tema en cuestión. Los hallazgos obtenidos en el presente estudio proporcionan información muy útil para futuros investigadores que se interesen en comenzar a indagar en esta área.

This study evaluated the direct effects of consumer xenoncentrism on product attitude and purchase intention of imported products and analyzed the moderating impact of formal education on xenocentric consumer behavior considering groups with higher and low formal education levels. Structural equation modeling technique and multigroup analysis based on samples collected from Chilean consumers were used to analyze the research model. There were 295 effective online questionnaires (42.4% females and 57.6% males). This study’s findings suggest that consumer xenocentric effects are directly related to imported products’ product attitude (G: R2 = 0.254; L: R2 = 0.121; H: R2 = 0.327) and purchase intention (G: R2 = 0.454; L: R2 = 0.469; H: R2 = 0.365). Estas nuevas exigencias académicas podrían causarles efectos negativos como el tecnoestrés. El tecnoestrés es un trastorno que implica una serie de respuestas que afectan al comportamiento y la conducta humana. The purpose of this study was to adapt and validate the Spanish version of the Technostress Creat... more The purpose of this study was to adapt and validate the Spanish version of the Technostress Creators Scale (TCS). The scale was administered to 1.047 Chilean professionals. The internal structure of the scale was tested by conducting exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses. The average variance extracted (AVE) and the Fornell–Larcker criterion were used to examine convergent and discriminant validity, respectively. To investigate concurrent validity, we focused on the relation between the TCS scale and role stress, which is a distinct, albeit conceptually related construct. Our findings supported a five-factor model consisting of 23 items distributed in five factors: techno-overload, techno-invasion, techno-complexity, techno-insecurity and techno-uncertainty. Electronic commerce has shown exponential growth over the past decade, but the impact of COVID-19... more Electronic commerce has shown exponential growth over the past decade, but the impact of COVID-19 has exceeded all expectations. Based on the theory of planned behavior, this paper aims to investigate the relationship between consumer ethnocentrism and internet purchase behavior in times of pandemics. Data was collected from 294 online purchasers, and the analysis was conducted utilizing a Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling approach. The results indicate no significant impact on the relationship between the planned online purchase behavior and the country of origin when consumers face a health crisis. Additionally, the outcomes show that attitude toward online shopping positively affects online purchase behavior.

Se utilizo un enfoque cualitativo por medio de la investigacion-accion y multiples modelos y teorias del movimiento. Se concluyo que independientemente de la discapacidad, las principales barreras son de caracter social, propiciadas por la actitud, principalmente de algunos academicos que generan una disfuncion del movimiento social. Se pudo apreciar que es posible sortear las barreras fisicas con la ayuda de facilitadores sociales, pero no asi las barreras sociales, para las cuales no existen, o no se han evidenciado hasta el momento, mecanismos que permitan sortearlas. Twelve influencing variables were identified and organized into 4 categories: Sociodemographic, Economic, Familiarity with Internet and ICT and E-commerce Experience. A binary regression model was used to study the purchasing habits of a subsample of 5651 consumers who were listed in the 5th Survey about Access, Uses, Users and Willingness to Pay on Line. Marginal effect analysis was carried to find out that the determining variables that influence purchasing over the internet are gender, age, education level, income level, access to credit cards, frequency of Internet use, ability to use internet and a positive experience of giving personal information online.

El estudio, de tipo descriptivo y correlacional, tuvo por objetivos identificar la presencia del ... more El estudio, de tipo descriptivo y correlacional, tuvo por objetivos identificar la presencia del sindrome de burnout y posteriormente determinar las razones o variables sociodemograficas que influyen en la presencia del mismo. La poblacion de estudio, de caracter analitico, estuvo conformada por 522 academicos jornada completa de distintas areas de especialidad pertenecientes a cada una de las diez facultades que existen en los Campus Isla Teja y Campus Miraflores de Valdivia. Se aplicaron, en un unico momento del segundo semestre de 2016, dos instrumentos de recopilacion de datos, un cuestionario de variables sociodemograficas y el Inventario de Burnout de Maslash (MBI) a una muestra de 104 academicos. El analisis de confiabilidad por consistencia interna nos indica coeficientes Alfa razonables en las tres escalas del inventario del Burnout. Therefore, the ability to predict donor flow has become relevant for hospitals. Although it is possible to predict this behaviour intention from donor questionnaires, the need to reduce social contact in pandemic settings leads to decreasing the extension of these surveys with the minimum loss of predictivity. In this context, this study aims to predict the intention to give blood again, among donors, based on a limited number of attributes. This research uses data science and learning concepts based on symmetry in a particular classification to predict blood donation intent. We carried out a face-to-face survey of Chilean donors based on the Theory of Planned Behaviour. These data, including control variables, were analysed using the decision tree technique. Many factors and aspects of the construction and operation of buildings depend on climatic parame... more Many factors and aspects of the construction and operation of buildings depend on climatic parameters and climatic zones, so these will be fundamental for adapting and mitigating the effects of climate change. For this reason, the number of climate-oriented publications in building is increasing. This research presents an analysis on the most-cited climate-oriented studies in building in the period 1979–2019. The main themes, the typologies of these investigations and the principal types of climatic zoning used in these studies were analysed through bibliographic and manual analysis. A broad spectrum of themes directly and indirectly related to climate and climatic zones and buildings was demonstrated. It was found that 88% of all climate-oriented investigations, to one degree or another, are within the scope of the general topic of energy conservation. A literature review based on bibliometric analysis of 246 records indexed in Scopus database was conducted. These publications were analyzed according to bibliometric indicators and through science maps with SciMAT. Co-occurrence of terms by grouping techniques was implemented. In addition, elaboration of maps of science and performance analysis for periods was executed. The main contribution of this work is to provide the first scientific map of technostress and a detailed understanding of the scientific production that predicts the directions of future research. The bibliometric analyses permit an overview of the growth, extent and distribution of the scientific literature related to the technostress and the study of the scientific production of an institution, country, author or research group.

The aim of this study was to conduct an initial exploration of the reasons for using digital platforms in blood donation. Using a Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) framework, microdata for 389 participants from Latin American countries and Spain, and Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM), the study obtained three main prediction paths. The first two started from feelings of trust in the digital community and a positive mood state associated with a modern lifestyle, and they were linked to attitudes and behavioural control in the explanation of the intention to donate and actual blood donation. El tecnoestrés comenzó a estudiarse en 1982 y dada la naturaleza dinámica de las tecnologías, cobra importancia evaluar la evolución del concepto y sus consecuencias. El objetivo de este artículo es explorar la estructura intelectual y social de la producción científica sobre el tecnoestrés y analizar la evolución del concepto, detectando las características que influyen en los niveles de tecnoestrés en los individuos. Los resultados indican que las investigaciones más relevantes provienen del área de sistemas de información. El concepto ha evolucionado con el tiempo y sus consecuencias también pueden experimentarlo personas que no trabajan. Concluimos que los programas de prevención deben considerar diferencias individuales, organizacionales y tecnológicas.

In this context and based on a sample of Colombian customers, this investigation aims to analyze both the direct and indirect effects of xenocentrism on the consumer purchase intentions of imported products through product attitudes and perceived product quality. Xenocentrism was measured using the XSCALE, and the research model was analyzed with partial least squares structural equation modeling. The result indicates that xenocentrism has a positive direct effect on purchase intentions, perceived product quality, and product attitudes. The analysis also shows that product attitudes will partially mediate the effect between xenocentrism and purchase intentions.
