Sebanyak 63 siswa SMA menjadi sample dalam penelitian eksperimen ini. 30 siswa berada pada kelas eksperimen. 33 siswa berada di kelas control. Siswa diukur metakognitifnya menggunakan tes uraian berjumlah sembilan item. Data perbedaan metakognitif siswa dihitung menggunakan Mann-Whitney tes. Hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa metakognitif siswa di awal ada sama (sig. > 0.05). Hasil analisis metakognitif akhir mengungkap bahwa metakognitif siswa kelas eksperimen dan control adalah berbeda (sig.0.05). The final metacognitive analysis results revealed that the students metacognitive of the experimental and control classes were different (sig.<0.05). Teacher creativity in learning is needed to strengthen student learning outcomes. This study aims to investigate the effect of using comics on student learning outcomes on the material of the human digestive system. Methods: A quasi-experimental research was used on forty-two junior high school students who were randomly selected. Multiple choice tests are used to obtain student learning outcomes. Free sample t-test was used to compare student learning outcomes in comic and non-comic classes. Results: The findings revealed that the average student learning outcomes were better when they were taught using comics than non-comics (p = 0.000 < 0.05). This research and development study has employed the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model. Moreover, the data were descriptively analyzed and validated by experts along with practitioners. The validity results show that the mobile learning medium was valid and feasible to apply. The mobile learning implementation, students’ activity and achievement arrive at an excellent result. It was declared that the development of mobile learning was valid, practical and effective. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2 x 2. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur. This initial research aimed to determine the dug well water quality in Kampung Ujung, Komodo District, Labuan Bajo City, West Manggarai Regency in September 2019. The research method was used survey and laboratory. The two dug well was taken used a purposive sampling technique. The test parameters include temperature, turbidity, pH, smell, Total Suspended Solid (TSS), sulfate, Total Dissolved Solid (TDS), nitrate, nitrite, Total Hardness, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), nitrogen ammonia, total coliforms, and Escherichia coli. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah ex post facto. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 21 Rendani yang berjumlah 70 orang, dengan jumlah laki-laki 26 siswa dan perempuan 44 siswa. Data diperoleh melalui angket motivasi belajar dan dokumentasi hasil belajar. Uji validitas angket menggunakan korelasi product moment dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus alpha. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar mempunyai hubungan dengan hasil belajar biologi siswa dan kontribusi motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 25,9 %. This study used a quasi-experimental approach with a non-equivalent control group. This study took samples of two groups, namely the XI MIA 4 group as the experimental group, and the XI MIA 7 group as the control group. Purposive sampling is used in the sample method. The instrument used is a test consisting of 12 questions in the form of a description. The findings show that the average final metacognitive ability of the experimental group is 61.22, while the average of the control group is 46.69. The data analyst used the Mann-Whitney non-parametric test to determine whether there was a difference in metacognitive ability between students using the inquiry model and students using the conventional model. The research paper was aimed to reveal the relationship between students' perceptions of full-day school and motivation to learn science. The correlational method was used in this research. Respondent was 87 learners taken from an Islamic Junior high school in Manokwari. Validated questionnaires were used to measure perception and motivation. Simple regression was used to calculated data. The findings showed that P <0.5, rxy = 0.726, and R square = 0.527. The findings reveal a strong relationship between students' perceptions of FDS on motivation to learn science. The research aims to reveal: (1) Differences in student level of thinking before and after the implementation of inquiry-based science learning; (2) Differences in student level of thinking before and after the application of conventional learning; and (3) differences in student level of thinking between students taught by inquiry-based science learning and conventional learning. Samples were 63 students in class X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Fakfak, West Papua. A total of 30 students in the experimental group, and 33 students in the control group. Data were collected using 9 items of students’ thinking ability test. To measure the thinking level of students, rubric 5 levels of SOLO Taxonomy are used. The study was a quasi-experimental research used nonequivalent control group design. The sample of the study was the students of class VIIA such as experimental class and the total students as many as 23 students and the class VIIB such as the control class and the total students as many as 22 students. That result showed the experimental class to implementation PBL model obtained the average posttest 70,78, while the class control obtained the average posttest 50,05. The significant value was 0,01 < α = 0,05, there were different cognitive student achievement between the experiment class and the control class. Conclusion, there are differences in cognitive students achievement between students taught using PBL model with students taught using a conventional learning model.

The research was a part of research and development with the application of used one group pretest-posttest design. Research participant included 88 grade X student taken from senior high school in Manokwari. Collected of data used an achievement test to measure thinking skills was used a rubric SOLO taxonomy with five levels. Wilcoxon test was used for data analysis. It is revealed that sig. 0.000 < 0.05, 64 students experienced an increased level of thinking, 24 students were ties, and no students decrease in the level of thinking. Based on findings data, inquiry-based learning applications to train the thinking skills of learners is effective.

The type of research was quasi experimental. The research was conducted at SMP N 11 Manokwari. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. A number of the sample the control group of 31 students and the experimental group of 30 students. Data analysis used independent t-test at significant level 0,05 with help of SPSS 22 for Windows program. The results showed that there was a difference in the student achievement (P = 0,000 <0.05), where the N-Gain value of experimental group was 0.4 and the control group was 0.3. The conclusion, there is a difference in the improvement of students achievement, where the students who learn by using the problem solving learning model higher the improvement of students achievement compared to the students who learn by using the conventional learning model.

In doing so, the study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method to develop such a tool. The developed instructional tool was tested for its validity by experts and practitioners’ evaluation. Further, the empirical data were collected from the results of implementation in learning and the student's responses, while the data of tools effectiveness were acquired from the critical thinking tests given to students (analyzed by related t-test). The developed instructional tools were implemented in a limited-scale trial of 32 students and a large-scale trial of 59 students. This study used a quasi-experimental approach with a non-equivalent control group. This study took samples of two groups, namely the XI MIA 4 group as the experimental group, and the XI MIA 7 group as the control group. Purposive sampling is used in the sample method. The instrument used is a test consisting of 12 questions in the form of a description. The findings show that the average final metacognitive ability of the experimental group is 61.22, while the average of the control group is 46.69. The data analyst used the Mann-Whitney non-parametric test to determine whether there was a difference in metacognitive ability between students using the inquiry model and students using the conventional model. The study was a quasi-experimental research used nonequivalent control group design. The sample of the study was the students of class VIIA such as experimental class and the total students as many as 23 students and the class VIIB such as the control class and the total students as many as 22 students. That result showed the experimental class to implementation PBL model obtained the average posttest 70,78, while the class control obtained the average posttest 50,05. The significant value was 0,01 < α = 0,05, there were different cognitive student achievement between the experiment class and the control class. Conclusion, there are differences in cognitive students achievement between students taught using PBL model with students taught using a conventional learning model.

The research was a part of research and development with the application of used one group pretest-posttest design. Research participant included 88 grade X student taken from senior high school in Manokwari. Collected of data used an achievement test to measure thinking skills was used a rubric SOLO taxonomy with five levels. Wilcoxon test was used for data analysis. It is revealed that sig. 0.000 < 0.05, 64 students experienced an increased level of thinking, 24 students were ties, and no students decrease in the level of thinking. Based on findings data, inquiry-based learning applications to train the thinking skills of learners is effective.

Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah ex post facto. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 21 Rendani yang berjumlah 70 orang, dengan jumlah laki-laki 26 siswa dan perempuan 44 siswa. Abstract This research aims to determine the correlation between learning motivation and student achievement on biology subjects at Class VII SMP Negeri 21 Rendani Manokwari Regency. The research method used ex-post facto. The sample in this research were all students of Class VII of SMP Negeri 21 Rendani which amounted to 70 students, with the number of male 26 students and female 44 students. Data were obtained through a questionnaire of learning motivation and documentation of student achievement. Test the validity of questionnaire using product moment correlation and reliability test using alpha formula. Data analysis used simple regression analysis. The results showed there are correlation learning motivation and student achievement and the contribution of learning motivation to student achievement of 25.9%.

The research method using expost facto. The research at Biology Education Department. The number of sample is 110 students were taken using proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Metacognitive awareness is measured using a questionnaire MAI (Metacognitive Awarennes Inventory) which was adopted from Schraw & Dennison and student achievement index data obtained from documentation of Biology Education Department. Analysis of data using simple regression analysis at the significant level of 0.05. The result showed that the highest percentage of metacognitive awareness aspect is the debugging strategies with a percentage of 84.9% and the lowest aspect is declarative knowledge with a percentage 58.0%. Based on the result of regression analysis that there are effect of metacognitive awareness to student achievement index of Biology Education Department of 22.6% with regression equation ŷ = 1.519 + 0,016X indicating that any increase in the value of metacognitive awareness will increase student achievement index gathering of 0,016 on 1,519 constants

Jenis penelitian adalah kuasi eksperimen. Tempat penelitian di SMP N 15 Manokwari. Teknik pengambilan sampel mengunakan purposive samping. Jumlah sampel Kelas eksperimen 1 (STAD dipadu komik IPA terpadu) sebanyak 29 orang siswa dan kelas eksperimen 2 (STAD) sebanyak 29 orang. Analisis data menggunakan uji t independent pada taraf signifikan 0,05 dengan bantuan program SPSS 22 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa (P = 0,000 < 0,05), dimana nilai N-gain kelas eksperimen 1 sebesar 0,6 dan kelas eksperimen 2 sebesar 0,4. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, dimana siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan media pembelajaran komik IPA terpadu lebih tinggi peningkatan hasil belajarnya dibandingkan dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe STAD tanpa menggunakan komik.

Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Jumlah subjek sebanyak 210 orang mahasiswa. Data diperoleh dengan teknik dokumentasi soal dan lembar jawaban yang telah di isi mahasiswa. Analisis data secara kuantitatif meliputi validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda dan kualitas pengecoh. Jumlah butir soal sebanyak 100. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kualitas butir soal ujian tengah semester Biologi Umum di Universitas Papua memiliki tingkat kesukaran cukup/sedang, daya pembeda cukup, kualitas pengecoh sangat baik, terdapat 70 butir soal yang valid dan reliabilitas 0,79 dengan kategori tinggi. Secara keseluruhan butir soal yang diterima sebesar 7 %, butir soal yang direvisi sebesar 63 % dan butir soal yang tidak digunakan sebsar 30 %. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah butir soal ujian tengah semester mata kuliah Biologi Umum di Universitas Papua perlu dilakukan revisi untuk memperbaiki kualitas butir soal.

Lokasi penelitian di SMA YABT Manokwari. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan model Kemmis dan Taggart. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA dengan jumlah 30 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar siklus I sebesar 85,23 dengan persentasi siswa yang tuntas sebesar 93 % dan rata-rata hasil belajar siklus II sebesar 89,90 dengan persentasi siswa yang tuntas sebesar 97 %. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian adalah penerapan model pembelajaran picture and picture dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA SMA YABT Manokwari.
