The need for teachers who are proficient in communicating science face-to-face and making flexibl... more The need for teachers who are proficient in communicating science face-to-face and making flexible use of various integrative media is increasing along with changes in community communication patterns. High scientific communication skills can support learning with topics closely related to the latest technology, such as biotechnology. This study aims to develop a multimedia-based biotechnology module using Canva as a learning source to increase prospective science teachers in Science Education Department in science communication skills toward Society 5.0 era. As a result, the learning resource developed as a Biotechnology module for S1 Science Education students contains integrated biotechnology content. It presents learning activity guides, quizzes, and assignments that support prospective teachers in developing science communication skills in the classroom. Validation results from material and media experts indicate that this module is valid and feasible to be applied in biotechnology learning for prospective science teachers.

Media digitization could be done in the form of mobile learning applications that were in accordance with today's lifestyle. Kurangnya keterampilan dan keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran terutama dalam menyelesaiaka... more Kurangnya keterampilan dan keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran terutama dalam menyelesaiakan soal cerita disebabkan berbagai faktor yaitu: siswa kurang menguasai perhitungan, siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal yang ditandai dengan banyaknya kesalahan-kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menjawab atau mengerjakan soal-soal, dan siswa masih malu dalam mengkomunikasikan gagasannya dan masih ragu-ragu dalam mengemukakan permasalahannya ketika siswa tersebut menghadapi suatu masalah dalam memecahkan persoalan matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika bentuk cerita pada siswa kelas VIII SMP pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif yang mengacu pada tes tertulis kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita dan tes wawancara. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah siswa SMP Negeri 3 Cilegon kelas VIII E semester genap tahun ajaran 2020/2021 yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Dari 24 siswa akan diberikan lembar tes untuk memperoleh data berupa hasil jawaban siswa. Selanjutnya, akan dipilih 5 siswa berdasarkan jawaban yang telah diberikan untuk diwawancara., yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling (sampel tujuan). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah soal matematika berbentuk cerita dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan menyelesaikan soal bentuk cerita pada materi SPLDV sudah baik. Kata kunci: Kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita, sistem persamaan linear dua variabel, matematika.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan merekonstruksi cerita rakyat Jawa dari perspektif kesetaraan gender. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berdasarkan paradigma kualitatif dengan model deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode simak yang dilanjutkan dengan teknik catat. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menganalisis citra perempuan dalam cerita rakyat yang ada, merekonstruksi cerita rakyat dengan sudut pandang kesetaraan gender, dan merancang narasi dan visual cerita rakyat. Rekonstruksi cerita rakyat menghasilkan cerita yang tidak melemahkan figur perempuan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ideologi cerita rakyat dapat disesuaikan dengan nilai-nilai yang ingin diajarkan kepada generasi muda tanpa mengubah alur cerita, tetapi dengan mengambil sudut pandang sebaliknya.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan memerikan pandangan dan sikap perempuan terhadap tokoh perempuan dalam film Bumi Manusia, sutradara Hanung Bramantyo. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode estetika resepsi dengan pendekatan eksperimental. Adapun data penelitiannya adalah 42 tanggapan penonton perempuan yang telah menonton film adaptasi novel Bumi Manusia Sutradara Hanung Bramantyo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penonton perempuan memiliki sensitivitas yang cermat dalam merespon tokoh perempuan dalam film Bumi Manusia. Pandemi covid-19 membawa masalah baru dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam menentukan aplikasi... more Pandemi covid-19 membawa masalah baru dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam menentukan aplikasi apa yang tepat untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran secara daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi salah satu aplikasi media sosial yaitu discord untuk digunakan di dalam pembelajaran secara daring di masa covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 118 orang mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan biologi angkatan 2020 yang mengikuti perkuliahan kimia dasar. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan angket. Durasi waktu penelitian dilakukan dua kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak mahasiswa yang mengalami kendala dalam menggunakan discord ini disebabkan masalah jaringan internet yang tidak stabil. Namun demikian, sebagian mahasiswa yang memiliki jaringan internet yang stabil merasa puas dalam menggunakan aplikasi discord dalam pembelajaran. Kata kunci: discord, daring, covid-19

The content of folklore that contains gender equality can improve mutual respect without looking ... more The content of folklore that contains gender equality can improve mutual respect without looking down on gender. This study aims to describe and reconstruct the folklore of Indonesia from a gender equality perspective. The research method used was based on a qualitative paradigm with a descriptive model. The data were collected through the observation method followed by note-taking technique. The data analysis technique was done by analysing the image of women in existing folklore, reconstructing folklore from a gender equality perspective, and designing narratives and visuals of the folklore. Folklore reconstruction produces stories that do not weaken the female figure. This research shows that the ideology of folklore can be adapted to the values that want to be taught to the younger generation. Certainly, the reconstruction does not change the story line, but takes the opposite point of view. Keywords—folklore, gender equality, literacy

This study used a mixed-methods research design that consisted of a document analysis, a survey, and a systematic review. The research was conducted through ethnographic study. Data of the research were collected through observation and transcription of documentation which investigated into the analysis of domain, taxonomy, componential, and cultural themes. The result of study showed that the implementation of Grice’s cooperative principles was found in class group discussion at Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program of Faculty of Teachers Training and Education of UNTIRTA Serang. This research focused on the ability of writing argumentative text correlate to writing motivatio... more This research focused on the ability of writing argumentative text correlate to writing motivation and grammatical competence. This research used survey method through correlational study. It was conducted on the students of grade X in SMA Negeri 3 Serang in academic year 2016/2017 using simple random sampling technique. The data collection in this research were tests to get the data of writing argumentation ability and grammatical competence, while the questionnaire with Likert scale is used to get the data of students' writing motivation. The collected data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The data was analyzed using SPSS program version 22.00. Prior to hypothesis testing, several requirements were done: 1) normality test by using Lilliefors technique, 2) linearity test using F test; and 3) correlation test of product moment correlation from Pearson. The results prove: 1) the correlation coefficient (rx1y) shows that the r count is higher than the r table (0.585> 0.245). Therefore the first hypothesis is accepted; 2) the correlation coefficient (rx2y) shows that the r count is higher than the r table (0.786> 0.245). This means that the second hypothesis is accepted; and 3) the Fcount coefficient 9,421> F table 4.07. Based on the test results, Pvalue 0.000 is lower than 0.05. The conclusion is that the motivation of writing (X 1) and grammatical competence (X 2) has a positive and significant relationship with the ability to write argumentative text (Y).

Based on the analysis of the data, demonstrative pronoun of Korean language such as base, combined form, and shortened form. While Indonesian language has demonstrative pronomina as follows: base form, combine form, and derived form. The result of this research can be implemented in the teaching materials for foreigner students especially Korean students who learn to speak Indonesian language.

Puisi merupakan salah satu karya sastra yang mempunyi ciri-ciri khusus dan unik, yakni tidak hanya merupakan susunan pilihan kata yang padat makna tetapi juga mengandung nilai-nilai estetik (diksi, metafora, imageri dan bahasa figuratif) dan nilai-nilai ekspresif (rima, irama dan tekanan makna). Pandemi covid-19 membawa masalah baru dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam menentukan aplikasi... more Pandemi covid-19 membawa masalah baru dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam menentukan aplikasi apa yang tepat untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran secara daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi salah satu aplikasi media sosial yaitu discord untuk digunakan di dalam pembelajaran secara daring di masa covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 118 orang mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan biologi angkatan 2020 yang mengikuti perkuliahan kimia dasar. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan angket. Durasi waktu penelitian dilakukan dua kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak mahasiswa yang mengalami kendala dalam menggunakan discord ini disebabkan masalah jaringan internet yang tidak stabil. Namun demikian, sebagian mahasiswa yang memiliki jaringan internet yang stabil merasa puas dalam menggunakan aplikasi discord dalam pembelajaran. Kata kunci: discord, daring, covid-19

The content of folklore that contains gender equality can improve mutual respect without looking ... more The content of folklore that contains gender equality can improve mutual respect without looking down on gender. This study aims to describe and reconstruct the folklore of Indonesia from a gender equality perspective. The research method used was based on a qualitative paradigm with a descriptive model. The data were collected through the observation method followed by note-taking technique. The data analysis technique was done by analysing the image of women in existing folklore, reconstructing folklore from a gender equality perspective, and designing narratives and visuals of the folklore. Folklore reconstruction produces stories that do not weaken the female figure. This research shows that the ideology of folklore can be adapted to the values that want to be taught to the younger generation. Certainly, the reconstruction does not change the story line, but takes the opposite point of view. Keywords—folklore, gender equality, literacy

The research was conducted through ethnographic study. Data of the research were collected through observation and transcription of documentation which investigated into the analysis of domain, taxonomy, componential, and cultural themes. This research used survey method through correlational study. It was conducted on the students of grade X in SMA Negeri 3 Serang in academic year 2016/2017 using simple random sampling technique. The data collection in this research were tests to get the data of writing argumentation ability and grammatical competence, while the questionnaire with Likert scale is used to get the data of students' writing motivation. The collected data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The data was analyzed using SPSS program version 22.00. Prior to hypothesis testing, several requirements were done: 1) normality test by using Lilliefors technique, 2) linearity test using F test; and 3) correlation test of product moment correlation from Pearson. The results prove: 1) the correlation coefficient (rx1y) shows that the r count is higher than the r table (0.585> 0.245). Therefore the first hypothesis is accepted; 2) the correlation coefficient (rx2y) shows that the r count is higher than the r table (0.786> 0.245). This means that the second hypothesis is accepted; and 3) the Fcount coefficient 9,421> F table 4.07. Based on the test results, Pvalue 0.000 is lower than 0.05. The conclusion is that the motivation of writing (X 1) and grammatical competence (X 2) has a positive and significant relationship with the ability to write argumentative text (Y).

While Indonesian language has demonstrative pronomina as follows: base form, combine form, and derived form.
