Indeed, the speed at which brick and mortar retailers were folding before the pandemic has only quickened given the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic across the economy. Staying abreast of the retailers and suppliers going out of business has become a challenge. At the same time, educating retailing and supply chain management students on the current and developing market realities in an interesting and educational manner has proven difficult. This article describes a game that can accomplish the goal of providing a meaningful, critical-thinking exercise for classroom use that will elicit student discussion and classroom satisfaction.

California Community Colleges, the first case in the employment setting decided under the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA). To set the stage for an analysis of the Bessard case, the thirty year history of the "compelling interest" test in public sector employment is traced from its development in the 1963 case of Sherbert v. Verner through its being struck down by the Supreme Court in Employment Division, Department of Human Resources v. Smith (1990) to its reinstatement in the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993. After this examination of the judicial and legislative heritage of the RFRA and its relationship to the free-exercise clause of the First Amendment, the facts and decisions in the Bessard case are analyzed. A concluding discussion is then presented, examining the implications of the RFRA and Bessard, with an eye toward areas of possible future First Amendment litigation over employment issues in the public sector. The article begins with an examination of the concept of just what an accent is. Next, the scope of Title VH's protection against discrimination due to national origin is analyzed. The rationale for equating accent and national origin discrimination under Title VH's umbrella is laid out. Then, court rulings in cases of alleged accent discrimination both within and outside of higher education are examined. This sets the stage for an analysis of the decision in Hassan v. Auburn University (1993), which offers important insights into the scope of administrative prerogative to deal with the language and accent issue in higher education. A concluding discussion of the ramifica tions of the Hassan court's ruling for higher education in a changing era is then offered. America's colleges and universities enjoy a competitive advantage versus the rest of the world. Around the globe, the quality of American higher education is regarded as unequaled. Higher education institutions in the United States thus stand in a unique position. They have the ability to attract the best and the brightest from countries all over the planet to come to the United States for their academic pursuits-both as students and professors. What is at the core of America's magnetism to attract the best scholars worldwide? In this article, we introduce the cloud computing concept, and then discus the implications for the use of the cloud model in higher education. Due to budget constraints and the power of computing "on-demand," many believe that colleges and universities will be at the forefront of the shift to using cloud-based resources. We examine the impact of cloud computing on both research and university computing operations. We see that globally, this shift is already making a difference in how universities procure and use IT resources. In conclusion, we advance a six-stage Cloud Migration Strategy for introducing and implementing cloud computing in institutions. We also discuss the necessary changes in policies and procurement, as well as security and reliability concerns for institutions implementing cloud computing.

Most of these forums have been created to exchange and share members' knowledge in various domains. Members in these groups may need to use and retrieve other members' knowledge. Therefore, recommender systems are one of the techniques which can be employed in order to extract knowledge based on the members' needs and favorites. It is noteworthy that not only the users' comments and posts can have valuable information, but also there are some other valuable information which can be obtained from social data; moreover, it could be extracted from relations and interactions among users. Hence, association rules mining techniques are one of the techniques which can be applied in order to extract more implicit data as input to the recommender system. Our objective in this study is to improve the performance of a hybrid recommender system by defining new hybrid rules. In this regard, for the first time, we have defined new hybrid rules by considering both users and posts' content data. Each of the defined rules has been examined on an asynchronous discussion group in this study. In addition, the impact of the defined rules on the precision and recall values of the recommender system has been examined. We found that according to this impact, a classification of the defined rules can be considered and a number of weights can be assigned to each rule based on their impact and usability in the specific domain or application. It is noteworthy that the results of the experiments have been promising.

It begins with a look at how cloud computing has rapidly evolved, examining what cloud computing is – and is not, seeing how the cloud has quickly taken hold as part of our everyday lives and how it is poised to become a major part of IT strategies for all organizations. We examine the notion of computing being "on demand," following in line with other services, such as electricity and telephony, that have become "utilities." We then examine how cloud computing challenges traditional models for pricing and procuring information technology. In the conclusion, we look at how the cloud model will ultimately serve to transform – in a big way – the information technology industry, as the shift from procuring IT "stuff" to buying IT services will be transformational across the landscape.

However, this position has followed a reverse trend in recent years. The imports were increased as compared to the exports which decreased the overall contribution of Textile and Apparel industry between 2015 and 2016. To address this issue, this study examined the effective supply chain activities through radio frequency identification (RFID) using survey method to collect the necessary data. Questionnaires were distributed among the employees of Textile and Apparel companies. While analyzing the data by using PLS-SEM, it was found that RFID was contributing majorly in supply chain operations and maintained significant and positive effect on the performance of supply chain. Moreover, staff services quality had moderating role between RFID and the operations of Textile and Apparel industry. The study is one of the first attempts to examine the effect of RFID on supply chain operations of Textile and Apparel companies. Thus, the current study is helpful for practitioners to resolve the issues of concerned industry.
