This study aims to determine: (1) the relationship of learning creativity to student learning out... more This study aims to determine: (1) the relationship of learning creativity to student learning outcomes in basic subjects of electricity and electronics; (2) the relationship of interest in learning to student learning outcomes in the basic subjects of electricity and electronics; (3) the relationship between learning creativity and interest in learning to student learning outcomes in basic electrical and electrical subjects.The research method used is ex post facto. The population in this study amounted to 210 respondents with a sample of 138 respondents who were taken through the Simple Random Sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that: 1) There is a positive and significant relationship between learning creativity and student learning outcomes as indicated by the value (tcount > ttable) which is 8.736 > 1.9773. However, despite its importance, teachers are more often inclined to use it in language teaching and learning. It is therefore important to view that to appreciate nonverbal communications values and to integrate it into the context of language teachings are not the same. Efforts should be made from both sides, i.e. those who develop theory, methodology, and materials as well as those who apply these into practice in order to promote the best practice of communicative language learning and teaching. It is expected that the issues raised can soon be addressed so that the teaching and learning of foreign languages in Indonesia can make fruitful progress in the near future

In this research, the method was developmental research that used ADDE instructional design as the phase in developing the materials. The story book is intended to be supplementary materials in teaching reading narrative text. The story book was assessed by the experts according to several aspects. Total score of the expert assessment of the content was 95.83% by the maximum score was 100% and total score of the expert assessment of the illustration design was 95.45% by the maximum score was 100%.The experts assessment result showed that the story book was suitable and in good quality to be used by the teacher and students as supplementary material to support teaching reading narrative text. Abstract: The objective of this research was to find out the effectiveness of using Question Answ... more Abstract: The objective of this research was to find out the effectiveness of using Question Answer Relationship (QAR) Technique and how effectives is the use of QAR in teaching reading comprehension on narrative text to the tenth year students of “SMAN 1 Sungai Raya” in Academic Year 2014/205. This research was a pre-experimental research with one group pre test and post test design. The sample of this research was XJ which consist of 38 students. Based on the research findings, the use of QAR technique is effective to teach reading comprehension on narrative text. The mean score of pre test is 61.44 and the mean score of post test is 71.44. The interval score of the mean score of pre test and post test is 10. It means that there was improvement on students’ score in reading comprehension on narrative text. Method of this research is descriptive study by holding three time of test using minimal pairs. Subject of this research is all of the Third Semester Regular A Students of the English Education Study Program in Academic Year 2012/2013. Data of the research was collected by using pronouncing practice oral test of minimal pairs. Result of this research is the main score of students’ pronouncing ability at the first test was 91.37, the second test was 89.40 and the last test was 91.48 which was categorized as good to excellent. The study investigates challenges on the beliefs, approaches, and contexts of teaching and learni... more The study investigates challenges on the beliefs, approaches, and contexts of teaching and learning that novice pre service teachers experience while studying in UK academic culture. The study also tries to discover the teachers’ preferences on methods of learning they use on their study. The study involves six graduates of MA TESOL as the participants with a mixed method using formal conversation interview, open ended interviews and closed ended interview as the tools for gathering the data. From the research, it is found that there are gaps between the beliefs, the approaches and contexts of teaching and learning that the teachers experienced. An awareness of such challenges is important for teachers, trainers, and curriculum designers working in a change program to meet the needs and resolve the challenges. Finally, it is also found to be successfully learning their study these teachers apply eclectic methods.

Abstrak Tujuan: Mengetahui kejadian ekspulsi alat kontrasepsi dalam rahim banded T-shaped dan pla... more Abstrak Tujuan: Mengetahui kejadian ekspulsi alat kontrasepsi dalam rahim banded T-shaped dan plain T-shaped pada pemasangan intra seksio sesarea. Metode: Sebuah studi cohort dilakukan di 4 rumah sakit bersalin Makassar dari bulan September-Desember 2021. Sampel dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok yaitu mendapatkan banded T-shaped dan plain T-shaped. Hasil: Ada 216 pasien yang dipasangkan AKDR. Tidak terdapat perbedaan proporsi penggunaan jenis AKDR (p>0.05). Perubahan letak AKDR terjadi pada hari ke-40 (p(0.006)<0.05), pada hari ke-90 hari tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna (p(0.073>0.05). Pada hari ke-40 AKDR Banded T-shaped mengalami ekspulsi sebesar 20.4% sedangkan Plain T-shaped sebesar 8.3% (p(0.020)<0.05). Pada hari ke-90 kejadian AKDR Banded T-shaped sebesar 4.7% sedangkan Palin T-shaped sebesar 5.1% (p(1.000)>0.05). Petunjuk pertanyaan-pertanyaan adalah dari pertanyaan yang digunakan oleh pelaku yang menyenangkan untuk bertanya dan menajwabnya. Penelitian ini adalah dilakukan di SMPN 1 Toba siswa kelas VIII A. penelitian ini adalah implementasi dari kegiatan dari penelitian yang mana dilakukan dua kali pertemuan. Pertemuan yang lain dilihat dari hasil yang baik. Diantara kegiatan penelitian ini menggunakan teknik petunjuk pertanyaan, yang ditampilkan ke siswa yang menyenangkan dan meningkatkan berbicara siswa. The existence of these microbes in food can cause illness in humans and animals. One of the efforts made to inhibit the growth of microbes in food is the use of preservatives. Preservatives are being developed right now is the use of organic preservatives that use liquid smoke. Liquid smoke is the smoke of the liquid condensate from the pyrolysis of materials containing cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin such as coco nut. From the pyrolysis of the resulting compounds such as phenol and derivatives, organic acids and carbonyl compounds, which can act as an antimicrobial. This study aims to determine the effect of different concentrations of liquid smoke areca husk pyrolysis results on the growth of microbes that cause food decay, Aspergillus flavus and Rhizopus stoloniferus. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Chemistry State University of Padang with this type of research is experimental. Testing was conducted using paper disc method. Design research is done completely randomized design (RAL) with liquid smoke concentration variation factor. The results showed that the concentration difference factor gives a different effect on the ability of liquid smoke as a result of pyrolysis coco nut antifungal. Highest zone of inhibition at a concentration of 25% (v / v) for Aspergillus flavus is 12 mm, while for Rhizopus stoloniferus is equal to 10 mm.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana dukungan orang tua terhadap anak mereka dalam... more Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana dukungan orang tua terhadap anak mereka dalam belajar bahasa Inggris. Subjek penelitian ini adalah orang tua kelas 5 A di SD Negeri 09 Sungai Raya Kab. Kubu Raya. Dalam peneltian ini, penulis menggunakan metode case study. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 22 orang tua siswa. Hasil analisis menunjukan masing-masing orang tua memberikan dukungan dengan intensitas berbeda. Dukungan yang paling tinggi diberikan pada aspek psikologi ekonomi, dan terendah pada lingkungan rumah. Skor yang ditemukan pada psikologi adalah 364, ekonomi 333 dan pada lingkungan rumah 307. Setiap aspek memiliki kategori dukungan yang cukup sering dilakukan. Dukungan orang tua memiliki dampak positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci: Dukungan orang tua, aspek dukungan.
