However, the integrity and quality of online learning assessments must be safeguarded. This study is a synthesis, a written discussion integrating the findings of many online assessment researches on Higher Education Institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic. The findings of this study include issues and challenges to assessment integrity posed by online assessment and a discussion of assessment practices and pedagogy for maintaining students' academic integrity.

O... more In response to COVID-19 pandemic, higher education institutions implemented distance education. Online learning was adopted as the mode of delivery in instruction. With this sudden change, there were learning inequalities and barriers that occurred that affected the quality of education students received. This study is a literature review of the experiences of higher education institutions in implementing distance education through online learning during COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to make an overview of the experiences of universities and colleges during the pandemic. Twenty-three journal articles from the Education Resources Information Center database with specific key ERIC fields in the search work were utilized and subjected to analysis. The study discussed the different challenges and issues in the implementation of distance education. Also, the struggles of students, faculty, and staff were presented.

The education framework adapted the situation by changing from traditional to distance learning. Parents faced challenges and difficulties with the demands of the new normal in education. This study aims to find out the experiences of parents in supporting their children’s education during pandemic. This is a qualitative meta-analysis research. Meta-study design was used in analyzing research findings and processes concerning parents’ experiences in supporting their children’s education during pandemic. Five published research articles were selected based on a selection criteria and were systematically reviewed. Meta-data, meta-method, and meta-theory were presented based on the analysis of the studies. It was found out that parents’ struggles include disruption of schedule, inadequate skills to support learning, and financial difficulties
