In its different aspects, storytelling is the most important form of expression reflecting the essence of the Amazigh (native) population in the Middle Atlas. Amazigh storytelling displays several social indicators and modes of capturing the world and its resources, crystallizing representations that highlight a shared culture transmitted from one generation to another. Spoken language is an omnipresent instrument for concluding acts, establishing pacts, and preserving natural heritage through the likes of proverbs, tales, myths, focusing on central societal activities such as: harvesting, plowing, threshing, sheep mowing, wool work, milk processing, weaving, wedding ceremonies, etc. Amazigh women more often than not tend to act as the living repositories of this culture. Their strong ties with their close environment, the sustainability knowledge that they pass from on...

This study is based on the collection of qualitative and quantitative data from questionnaires answered by 1760 students, 193 professors and 51 administrative executives. To ensure a better understanding of the impacts of the pandemic on a context afflicted by vulnerability, this study chooses four focal points to its analysis of remote education’s impact on the aforementioned population: Perceptions, Costs, Student Experience and Attendance. In so doing, this study encourages the production of scholarship on educational experiences in times of crisis in Global South countries. As a result, a plethora of renovations have been brought to research methodology in various fields of study. Likewise, research methodology in social sciences is frequently struggling to catch up with the development touching upon related fields of research. In this context, the researchers contributing in this book are fully aware of the current status of research methodology in social sciences. Accordingly, they dig deeply to the spot where research methodology is expected to help studies to yield reliable results. For this reason, the contributions have come diverse, treating research methodology from a variety of theoretical and academic perspectives. Equally important are the resources the authors draw upon for assumptions; they relate mainly to their own experiences as students, teachers as well as thesis defence jury members. They bear in mind the difficulties researchers face in the field as to what is manageable or inapplicable. Keeping all this in view, it is hoped for this book to provide support for researchers across disciplines. In fact, the humble efforts summoned in this book, irrespective of their disciplines and priorities, whether they opt more for qualitative or quantitative methods, agree that the goals of the research justify the method. Therefore, by bringing differing expertise in research methodology in this book, the authors offer multiple options for the researcher to choose from as much as goals and aims vary. In one word, the book delivers both theoretical and practical information about methods, techniques and procedure tools employed in different types of research. The book is structured and organized around key components of research methodology. First of all, the articles are written in three languages following the diversity of disciplines of the authors. The right part of the book contains articles written in Arabic while the articles written in French and English feature on the left part. However, far from being repetitive, the articles are complementary and feed into each other. Dr Mohamed Azhari, for example, reveals in Arabic written article the five big issues (5G) to consider while conducting any research in any field such as purpose of research, novelty of study and credibility. In French language, Dr. Moubchir and Dr. Benkhallouq elaborate differently with illustrations on the ethics of scientific research they term the "7D". The subsequent articles on both sides of the book limit the scope of study and tackle aspects of scientific research in linguistics, sociology, Arabic studies, through components of research such as gathering data, testing, documenting and referencing to examples of research papers conducted in Arabic and English studies in different institutions. To sum up, this book is the fruit of scholarly and purposeful collaboration. The researchers conferred with the hope to inspire novice researchers to seek their own contributions to the field of research. And the works presented are neither exhaustive nor exemplary. Rather, they particularly meant to provide humble ground for classroom lectures and debates.

The effects and consequences on the educational system worldwide have been very detrimental. Such an unexpected onset of the pandemic has forced exclusively most of the governments and decision-making authorities worldwide to radically review and reconsider the basic strategies and orientations of the whole educational system, including, of course, language learning and teaching. The partial or total closure of educational institutions worldwide, and the quick and unexpected shift from a conventional, familiar and easy-going classroom teaching mode to an online or blended / hybrid model, has totally affected the whole educational system on all sides. Within this alarming global situation, a very important and successful International E-Conference, entitled "Distance Language Education" was held on May 27-28, 2021 to discuss the major challenges facing language learning and teaching online and share knowledge, experiments and projects therein. The Conference was co-organized by Cadi Ayyad University

Transmission thus ensures this intergenerational transfer. The pastoral agdals of the Ait Soukhman tribes (T.A.S) are a concrete example of this community management, which is rich in lessons. The study of this example highlights the institutional and cultural foundations of the collective mechanisms of the T.A.S. Thus, we will propose a complementary study, that of the referential device which will explain the transition from conservation to depletion of the resource. By working on the pastoral agdals attested since the beginning of the last century in the study area, the losses in the number of agdals and the degradation of the environment are indicators of changes which are identified and monitored between 1930 62 Fatima Ez-zahra Benkhallouq, Wahiba Moubchir, Farid El Wahidi // Le Savoir Local Amazigh: La Transmission à L’Épreuve // http://www.cta.ipt.pt/?p...

However, many wide territories are still overlooked by all: scientists, local actors and NGOs. This is the case of the tribes of Ait Soukhman (Azilal province - Morocco), an area straddling the Middle Atlas and the High Atlas, particularly interesting for the lifestyles and know-how it holds, but also for its geography and its exceptional geological structures and parks. Such assets should make this region attractive for visitors seeking cultural and ecological authenticity. Moreover, tourism would likely constitute a pillar of local development of a territory previously little open to the outside and whose population remains on the sidelines of economic growth.
