Thanks to the researches on natural frequencies, this subject has started to find a satisfactory answer. Nevertheless, the natural frequencies calculation is still complicated. Assuming the paraxial approximation of the Helmholtz equation, a simple method for natural frequency determination is developed. Our method is available for any number of non-symmetrical, non-periodical hetero-cavities. It can be applied on a multi-cavities system with varying length and cross-area. To illustrate the feasibility of the proposed method, cases of simple tube, Helmholtz resonator and multi-cavities systems have been examined. The proposed method is found to be useful for any number of cavities arranged in any random way making it more realistic, simple, and valid for cavities analysis and design.

The first one consists of textbooks, where the emphasis is on the physical phenomenon and its interpretation, theoretical assumptions and justifications. Para-School textbooks of solved problems are fewer and are most the time personal initiatives, unpublished and less organized. Considering the scientific level of the students which differ from a university to another, I had the idea to connect directly the exercises to the course in order to fix ideas for the students and help them to memorize the scientific formalism and simplify mathematics spots. This book "Quantum mechanics I integrated lectures" is a coherent sequence of notes of undergraduate and graduate students. The order of chapters is well studied with increasing difficulties. This book allows the student to be able to: First: write correctly the Schrodinger equation in many complicated cases. Second: solve this problem, correctly apply the conditions of continuity ...
A novel polymer-semiconductor nanocomposites of polyvinyl alcoholoxovanadium chloride (PVA-VOCl) ... more A novel polymer-semiconductor nanocomposites of polyvinyl alcoholoxovanadium chloride (PVA-VOCl) films have been successfully synthesized by the simple solution casting technique. XRD analysis of the prepared films confirms the formation of VOCl nanocrystals with different particle sizes distributed in the PVA polymer resulting in the increment in the crystalline phase of the whole structure of PVA-VOCl polymer nanocomposite. The Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy measurements indicate the distribution of VOCl in the polymer matrix. The optical absorption spectra measurements exhibit a complete blocking of the UV range (200–400 nm) due to VOCl dispersion in the polymer matrix. The optical gap Eg of the films were determined with a high degree of precision using Tauc relation, Absorption spectra fitting and the new accurate geometric method show a strong decrease from 5.2 eV for pure PVA to 2.85 eV with increasing the VOCl level in the polymer film. In addition, the high...

In this book, we are interested in the numerical analysis The objective of this book is to determine methods to calculate the numerical value of the solution of partial derivative equations or a system of equations, by using a computer. The first part is devoted to the resolution of the Partial Differential Equations by using finite difference method. After a definition and classification of the equations, and the calculus of partial derivatives, we present the consistency of the used scheme of discretization with the origin equation and its stability as well as the convergence of the approximate solution. The second part is devoted to principles of the control volume method applied to the transport phenomena by diffusion and by both diffusion and convection in steady and transient states.

In the present study, we considered certain conditions for the choice of the trial wave function. The current form of the trial wave function is based on the possible polynomial solutions of the Schrödinger equation. The advantage of our modified variational method is its ability to reduce the calculation steps and hence computation time. Also, we compared the results provided by our modified method with the results obtained by different methods in general but particularly Numerov method for the same problem.
