Autism Spectrum Disorders refer to a combination of cognitive, social and emotional deficits. Con... more Autism Spectrum Disorders refer to a combination of cognitive, social and emotional deficits. Continuous expansion of autism cases do not correspond to reported figures of efficient treatment through a certain philosophy. Successful cases due to certain treatment been often reported. But there have also been reported cases when the treatment was not followed by any changes. We cannot refer to one successful treatment for all individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders as every person displays a specific combination of the severity of the disorder, difficulties and learning skills. Is it the right time to refer to a multidisciplinary treatment of children with ASDs as long as we can prove that they suffer from a variety of comorbid deficits? This is a qualitative research in the form of a casual comparative study trying to explain: What is the influence of multidisciplinary treatment in the improvement of cognitive, social and emotional skills in children with Autism Spectrum Disorders? A qualitative design was selected for a detailed study of the phenomenon and especially because each autistic individual displays a unique combination of disorders.

Scientific research is bringing in arguments that autism is caused by disorders of the immune system, diet proteins and environmental toxins.One in 88 children in the USA is affected by autism. It is now a Research Priority because of the epidemic spreading has. It is impossible to refer to statistics about the spreading of the prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorders in Albania, as they are not complete or they do not exist. The hypothesis of this study is-the combination of the psycho-pedagogical treatment with the Neuro Biochemical intervention influences the improvement of the cognitive, social and emotional competences of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.Methodology: This is a qualitative research based on the analysis and data collected by focus groups: parents, teachers and psychologists of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders; parents that are applying the Neuro Biochemical intervention, in confrontation with the theory of autism treatment throughout the world.The aim of this paper is to bring in a real and theoretical argument of the softening of the symptoms of autism in children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, when the Psycho-Pedagogical treatment is combined with the Neuro Biochemical intervention.

Parents and pedagogical staff face real challenges because of the alarming growth of cases of Aut... more Parents and pedagogical staff face real challenges because of the alarming growth of cases of Autism Spectrum Disorders, especially of those with symptoms mainly in the cognitive, social, and emotional area. The inclusion of children with ASD-s in normal classrooms, is a complex problem related to the difficulties children display as much as to the deficiency of their psycho-pedagogical treatment. Statistics of the Regional Educational Directorate of Tirana, highlight the fact that there are thirteen autistic pupils who are attending Grade 1 during the academic year 2012-2013. What about the others? It is not easy to define the number of those children who attend school or those who do not, and of those who are integrated into classrooms with normal children. This study is focused on analyzing the factors which influence the exclusion of children with ASDs in the elementary educational system and its consequences. The applied methodology is: study of the literature about education of children with ASDs, focus groups of parents, analysis of statistical data of the Regional Educational Directorate of Tirana. The aim of this study is to bring in facts and arguments about the elements that influence the exclusion of children with ASDs from the educational system, from the point of view of the parent-who has faced to this challenge, and of the schoolmaster-who determines the psycho-pedagogical concerns of the treatment of this category of children, intending to work so as to achieve their inclusion in normal classrooms.
