Some green eggplant farmers in West Lombok, use NPK fertilizer as the main choice to produce quality fruit, they never use organic fertilizer when planting green eggplant for fear that the size of the fruit produced is not as big as the fruit grown using NPK. Low quality green eggplants are rarely in demand by the public, so it will have an impact on decreasing selling prices in the market. This study aims to determine the effect of fertilizer variation on the growth of green eggplant (Solanum melongena L). This research is a true experiment that wants to see the growth of green eggplant plants given a variety of fertilizers. This community service provides understanding, understanding, compiling, and using computer network simulation software (packet tracer) as well as training in cable crimping and testing of local area network (LAN) based computer networks. The network simulation community service method used is the experimental and design method, and is carried out in a group, pre-test and post-test design. Cross-sectional study with a survey method that aims to analyze variable data collected at a certain point in time throughout the sample population or a predetermined subset. The population of this study is all active Biology Education study program students as many as 212 students. The research sample amounted to 86 students as respondents obtained by accidental sampling techniques. Tujuan Kegitan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan tentang pengolahan sampah rumah tangga di Desa Sigerongan Lingsar Lombok Barat. Mitra dalam kegitan pengabdian ini adalah warga desa Segerongan dengan jumlah angota mitra 20 orang. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah Model Participatory Rapid Appraisal (PRA) dengan tahapan, (1) Persiapan, (2) Pelaksanaan dan (3) Evaluasi. Hasil capaian kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam memilah sampah organik dan anorganik serta mampu membuat pupuk organik cair dari sampah rumah tangga degan menggunaan metode komposter. Kegitan pendampingan perlu dilakukan secara kontinu sampai mitra benar-benar bisa mandiri dalam pengelolaan dan pengolahan limbah, selain itu untuk keberlanjutan dibutuhkan manajemen dan wadah seperti bank sampah.

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) merupakan penelitian yang dapat diakukan guru daam ragka memperba... more Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) merupakan penelitian yang dapat diakukan guru daam ragka memperbaiki proses-proses pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan. Pelaksanaan PTK sangat relevan dengan fungsi serang guru sebagai pendidik, pegajar, pembimbing, pelatih, dan evaluator ketercapaian hasil belajar siswa. Dalam konteks ini, PTK dipandang sebagai bentuk penelitian peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran yang paling tepat, karena selain sebagai peneliti guru juga bertindak sebagai pelaksana proses pembelajaran, sehingga tahu betul permasalahan yang dihadapi dan kondisi ideal yang ingin dicapai. Metode yang digunakan, yaitu melakukan serangkaian kegiatan In Service Training ( IST ) dan On Service Training ( OST ). Hasil kegiatan pengabdian secara umum, yaitu para guru peserta kegiatan telah paham dan terampil dalam melaksanakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), serta para guru telah terampil dalam menyusun karya ilmiah (format artikel). Hal ini terlihat dari produk artikel yang telah dihasilkan guru peserta.

Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan knsep mahasiswa calon gur... more Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan knsep mahasiswa calon guru biologi melalui penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini diterapkan pada mahasiswa program studi pendidikan biologi FPMIPA IKIP Mataram, pada materi pokok struktur dan perkembangan tumbuhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 91% mahasiswa dinyatakan tuntas belajar pada sikus II dan 65 % mahasiswa dinyatakan tuntas pada sikus I. Dengan demikian peningkatan penguasaan konsep berada pada kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran biologi pada materi pokok struktur dan perkembangan tumbuhan dengan model inkuiri dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep mahasiswa calon guru biologi.

The purpose of this research is to analyze genetic diversity of ( Jathropa curcas L. ), including... more The purpose of this research is to analyze genetic diversity of ( Jathropa curcas L. ), including genotypic expression through observation of DNA fragment tape by RAPD technique equipped with phenotype data. Samples in this research were 19 mutant ( Jatrohpa curcas L. ) ie mutant plants 0.1% + 6x, 0.2% + 6x, 0.3% + 6x, 0.4% + 6x, 0.5 % + 6x, 0.6% + 6x, 0.1% + 8x, 0.2% + 8x, 0.3% + 8x, 0.4% + 8x, 0.5% + 8x, 0.6% + 8x, 0.1% + 10x, 0.2% + 10x, 0.3% + 10x, 0.4% + 10x, 0.5% + 10x, and 0.6% + 10x and controls. The type of research is descriptive explorative research. Phenotypic observation results, indicating that there are many differences in ( Jathropa curcas L. ) and control. This difference is seen from the number of leaves, shoot color, stem color, number of main branches, plant height, and stem diameter. The differences that occur in morphological characters are caused by environmental influences. Genotypic observations in the form of DNA bands showed that the total number of amplified DNA bands using primary OPA 20, OPH 20 and OPH 15 were 169 DNA bands. Based on the results of the analysis using dendogram showed that the diversity of 19 ( Jathropa curcas L. ) plants is very high, with similarity level is at 52% coefficient. While mutants that have the closest kinship to the control are 0.6% + 10x mutants with similarity levels are at 84% coefficient.

Telah dilaksanakan pelatihan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) bagi gu... more Telah dilaksanakan pelatihan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) bagi guru di SMA Negeri 1 Sukamulya. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan, yaitu pelatihan ( in service training /IST) dan pendampingan ( on service training /OST). Pada proses IST peserta mendapatkan materi yang berkaitan dengan penelitian tindakan kelas, sedangkan pada proses OST peserta didampingi dalam melakukan penulisan naskah PTK. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang tujuan utamanya adalah memberikan pemahaman tentang penulisan karya ilmiah mendapat apresiasi yang baik dari pihak sekolah. Kehadiran guru dalam kegiatan mencapai 80% dari total semua guru yang direncanakan terlibat. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan peserta nampak bersemangat, hal ini dapat dilihat dari antusiasnya para guru dalam mengikuti seluruh kegiatan pelatihan, baik dalam pemberian materi maupun pada proses diskusi atau tanya jawab.

Berpikir kritis dapat dilatihkan dengan menerapkan pembelajaran aktif berorientasi pada pebelajar. Dewasa ini perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK) mempengaruhi hampir seluruh kehidupan manusia diberbagai bidang. Perkembangan tersebut semakin memudahkan manusia untuk mengakses segala informasi. Dalam dunia pendidikan pemanfaatan teknologi sangat membantu pendidik dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran sehingga pendidik dapat mengemas dan menyajikan materi menjadi lebih berkualitas dan variatif. Perangkat pembelajaran Blended Community of Inquiry yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini merupakan perangkat yang memadupadankan prinsip pengajaran tatap muka dan pengajaran berbasis internet yang dikemas dalam proses pembelajaran inkuiri untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk berupa perangkat pembelajaran Blended Community of Inquiry untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa calon guru biologi yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan mengadaptasi model pengembangan 4D yang meliputi 4 tahap yaitu: tahap Define (pendefinisian), tahap Design (perancangan), tahap Develop (pengembangan), dan tahap Dessiminate (penyebaran). Luaran penelitiaan ini berupa produk perangkat pembelajaran Blended Community of Inquiry yang valid, praktis dan efektif meliputi SAP, LKM, modul, instrument tes dan rubrik penilaian keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa calon guru biologi serta artikel yang terpublikasi pada jurnal nasional terakreditasi.

This study aims to determine the effect of the integration of cooperative learning model type STA... more This study aims to determine the effect of the integration of cooperative learning model type STAD with the talking stick toward motivation and cognitive learning outcomes of VIII grade student of SMPN 1 Janapria in the academic year 2016/2017. This research is a quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study the whole class of VIII grade in SMPN 1 Janapria. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. The instrument used to motivate using a questionnaire sheet, and learning outcomes using multiple-choice tests. Data were analyzed descriptively motivated by the results of the data motivation experimental class with an average score of 63.5 with a very high category and grade control with an average score of 58.5 with the high category. Cognitive learning outcomes were analyzed by t-test using SPSS for Windows 16 with the results of Ha 0.04 ≤ 0.05 at significance level of 5%. It was concluded that the integration of cooperative learning model type STAD with the talking stick significantly affect the cognitive learning outcomes of VIII grade student of SMPN 1 Janapria in academic year 2016/2017. It was concluded that the motivation to learn at SMPN 1 Janapria the experimental class has an average of 63.5 in the category of very high motivation to learn, higher than the control class with an average of 58.5 in the high category.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan metode survey. Data dikumpulkan dari 150 mahasiswa pendidikan biologi Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika (UNDIKMA) menggunakan angket yang disusun pada Google Form, kemudian dianalaisis secara deskriptif berdasarkan trend data penelitian yang didapatkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 87% mahasiswa menggunakan smartphone, dan 13% menggunakan laptop. Pada aspek aplikasi, 73% menggunakan media sosial WhatsApp, 27% menggunakan website kampus. Metode yang digunakan, yaitu melakukan serangkaian kegiatan In Service Training ( IST ) dan On Service Training ( OST ). Hasil kegiatan pengabdian secara umum, yaitu para guru peserta kegiatan telah paham dan terampil dalam melaksanakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), serta para guru telah terampil dalam menyusun karya ilmiah (format artikel). Hal ini terlihat dari produk artikel yang telah dihasilkan guru peserta.

Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan knsep mahasiswa calon gur... more Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan knsep mahasiswa calon guru biologi melalui penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini diterapkan pada mahasiswa program studi pendidikan biologi FPMIPA IKIP Mataram, pada materi pokok struktur dan perkembangan tumbuhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 91% mahasiswa dinyatakan tuntas belajar pada sikus II dan 65 % mahasiswa dinyatakan tuntas pada sikus I. Dengan demikian peningkatan penguasaan konsep berada pada kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran biologi pada materi pokok struktur dan perkembangan tumbuhan dengan model inkuiri dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep mahasiswa calon guru biologi.

The purpose of this research is to analyze genetic diversity of ( Jathropa curcas L. ), including... more The purpose of this research is to analyze genetic diversity of ( Jathropa curcas L. ), including genotypic expression through observation of DNA fragment tape by RAPD technique equipped with phenotype data. Samples in this research were 19 mutant ( Jatrohpa curcas L. ) ie mutant plants 0.1% + 6x, 0.2% + 6x, 0.3% + 6x, 0.4% + 6x, 0.5 % + 6x, 0.6% + 6x, 0.1% + 8x, 0.2% + 8x, 0.3% + 8x, 0.4% + 8x, 0.5% + 8x, 0.6% + 8x, 0.1% + 10x, 0.2% + 10x, 0.3% + 10x, 0.4% + 10x, 0.5% + 10x, and 0.6% + 10x and controls. The type of research is descriptive explorative research. Phenotypic observation results, indicating that there are many differences in ( Jathropa curcas L. ) and control. This difference is seen from the number of leaves, shoot color, stem color, number of main branches, plant height, and stem diameter. The differences that occur in morphological characters are caused by environmental influences. Genotypic observations in the form of DNA bands showed that the total number of amplified DNA bands using primary OPA 20, OPH 20 and OPH 15 were 169 DNA bands. Based on the results of the analysis using dendogram showed that the diversity of 19 ( Jathropa curcas L. ) plants is very high, with similarity level is at 52% coefficient. While mutants that have the closest kinship to the control are 0.6% + 10x mutants with similarity levels are at 84% coefficient.

Telah dilaksanakan pelatihan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) bagi gu... more Telah dilaksanakan pelatihan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) bagi guru di SMA Negeri 1 Sukamulya. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan, yaitu pelatihan ( in service training /IST) dan pendampingan ( on service training /OST). Pada proses IST peserta mendapatkan materi yang berkaitan dengan penelitian tindakan kelas, sedangkan pada proses OST peserta didampingi dalam melakukan penulisan naskah PTK. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang tujuan utamanya adalah memberikan pemahaman tentang penulisan karya ilmiah mendapat apresiasi yang baik dari pihak sekolah. Kehadiran guru dalam kegiatan mencapai 80% dari total semua guru yang direncanakan terlibat. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan peserta nampak bersemangat, hal ini dapat dilihat dari antusiasnya para guru dalam mengikuti seluruh kegiatan pelatihan, baik dalam pemberian materi maupun pada proses diskusi atau tanya jawab.

Berpikir kritis dapat dilatihkan dengan menerapkan pembelajaran aktif berorientasi pada pebelajar. Dewasa ini perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK) mempengaruhi hampir seluruh kehidupan manusia diberbagai bidang. Perkembangan tersebut semakin memudahkan manusia untuk mengakses segala informasi. Dalam dunia pendidikan pemanfaatan teknologi sangat membantu pendidik dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran sehingga pendidik dapat mengemas dan menyajikan materi menjadi lebih berkualitas dan variatif. Perangkat pembelajaran Blended Community of Inquiry yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini merupakan perangkat yang memadupadankan prinsip pengajaran tatap muka dan pengajaran berbasis internet yang dikemas dalam proses pembelajaran inkuiri untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk berupa perangkat pembelajaran Blended Community of Inquiry untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa calon guru biologi yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan mengadaptasi model pengembangan 4D yang meliputi 4 tahap yaitu: tahap Define (pendefinisian), tahap Design (perancangan), tahap Develop (pengembangan), dan tahap Dessiminate (penyebaran). Luaran penelitiaan ini berupa produk perangkat pembelajaran Blended Community of Inquiry yang valid, praktis dan efektif meliputi SAP, LKM, modul, instrument tes dan rubrik penilaian keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa calon guru biologi serta artikel yang terpublikasi pada jurnal nasional terakreditasi.

This study aims to determine the effect of the integration of cooperative learning model type STA... more This study aims to determine the effect of the integration of cooperative learning model type STAD with the talking stick toward motivation and cognitive learning outcomes of VIII grade student of SMPN 1 Janapria in the academic year 2016/2017. This research is a quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study the whole class of VIII grade in SMPN 1 Janapria. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. The instrument used to motivate using a questionnaire sheet, and learning outcomes using multiple-choice tests. Data were analyzed descriptively motivated by the results of the data motivation experimental class with an average score of 63.5 with a very high category and grade control with an average score of 58.5 with the high category. Cognitive learning outcomes were analyzed by t-test using SPSS for Windows 16 with the results of Ha 0.04 ≤ 0.05 at significance level of 5%. It was concluded that the integration of cooperative learning model type STAD with the talking stick significantly affect the cognitive learning outcomes of VIII grade student of SMPN 1 Janapria in academic year 2016/2017. It was concluded that the motivation to learn at SMPN 1 Janapria the experimental class has an average of 63.5 in the category of very high motivation to learn, higher than the control class with an average of 58.5 in the high category.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan metode survey. Data dikumpulkan dari 150 mahasiswa pendidikan biologi Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika (UNDIKMA) menggunakan angket yang disusun pada Google Form, kemudian dianalaisis secara deskriptif berdasarkan trend data penelitian yang didapatkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 87% mahasiswa menggunakan smartphone, dan 13% menggunakan laptop. Pada aspek aplikasi, 73% menggunakan media sosial WhatsApp, 27% menggunakan website kampus. Selain itu, dalam perkuliahan online 92% mahasiswa menggunakan paket data sebagai basis jaringan internet, 62% mahasiswa menyatakan bahwa harga paket data mahal, sebesar 58% menyatakan kondisi jaringan stabil selama perkuliahan online, serta sebagian besar mahasiswa menyatakan bahwa perkuliahan online tidak efektif dibandingkan dengan perkuliahan konvensional.
