Cottage industries play an important role in supporting the local economy and providing opportuni... more Cottage industries play an important role in supporting the local economy and providing opportunities for small-scale businesses. However, challenges faced by cottage industries include operational complexity, limited resources, and market uncertainty. Therefore, it is necessary to have an effective management control system to ensure the continuity and sustainable growth of cottage industries. This study aims to explore the application of management control systems in the context of cottage industries. Research methodology involves surveys, interviews, and analysis of documentation to understand management control practices implemented by home-based business owners. The main focus of this study is to identify key elements in management control, such as planning, organizing, controlling, and monitoring. The results showed that the application of management control systems in cottage industries can improve operational efficiency, optimize the use of resources, and improve the quality of products or services. The role of information technology is also an important aspect in supporting the implementation of management control systems on a cottage industry scale. In addition, government support and training for home-based business owners are determining factors for the success of implementing this system. This research provides valuable insights for home-based business owners, management practitioners, and other related parties to understand the importance of implementing management control systems in increasing the competitiveness and resilience of cottage industries. The practical implications of these research findings can be used as a foundation for the development of guidelines and policies that support the sustainable growth of the cottage industry sector.
This research aims to analyze the application of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) in Small an... more This research aims to analyze the application of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in order to improve the efficiency and quality of financial management. The research method used is the library research method. Data collection was carried out by conducting a review study of books, literature, notes and reports related to the problem to be solved. The literature sources in this research were obtained from books, journals and research results (papers, theses and theses) so that in This article covers general processes such as systematically identifying theories, literature discovery and document analysis with information containing the application of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). In applying AIS to SMEs, the author analyzes that there are advantages to its application, namely improving internal control and management decision-making capabilities. However, research also identifies several obstacles faced by SMEs in implementing AIS, such as limited skilled human resources, high implementation costs, and resistance to change. Therefore, there is a need for government support, employee training, and a better understanding of the benefits of AIS to overcome these obstacles. This research contributes to SMEs in understanding the importance of implementing AIS as an effective tool in managing financial information. The practical implication of this research is that the application of AIS can help SMEs to compete more effectively in global markets and increase their competitiveness through increasing efficiency and transparency in financial management.
This article aims to determine the influence of MSMEs, VAT and PPnBM against the country's econom... more This article aims to determine the influence of MSMEs, VAT and PPnBM against the country's economy, the research method used in this study is the library method. Data collection was carried out by holding studies of books, literature, literature, records, and reports that have something to do with problems solved from these research sources, and results in this study were obtained from books, journals, and results of research (papers, thesis, and thesis) so that in this article including general processes covering the theory of literature and analysis which contained information related to the results of this research. From this study, the author received a conclusion in the form of differences in the definition of small entrepreneurs between financial material regulations and MSME laws, there is legal uncertainty regarding the criteria of small entrepreneurs and also different interpreters with the occurrence of different differences, financial material regulations can be legally canceled if not handled as soon as possible will become a serious problem.
