This study seeks determine whether extent of professional ethics observance among private and public secondary school teachers significantly differ. This is a descriptive non-experimental study which utilized one-shot survey among 109 teacher-respondents. Findings indicated that there is higher proportion of private school teachers who 'highly observe' professional ethics in their everyday lives than the public school teachers. Inferential statistical results further confirmed that extent of professional ethics observance was highly observed by private school teachers than by public school teacher, U=833.0, p>0.0.This study argues that, albeit this finding, professional ethics is indivisible from the teaching profession as teachers are expected to exhibit higher moral and ethical standards. With this, ethical expectations even overlap between teachers' professional and personal lives.

With only a few references discussing the same matter especially in the local parlance, this book will provide the readers the differing insights, both from the perspective of politicians and Facebook users. The results and findings from the present investigation present a good reference as to how politicians and political parties can engineer their respective online campaigns. It will deepen their understanding not only of the online engineering strategies but also help them grasp the behaviors of the voters in the platform. In this book they will discover how political communication works in the virtual arena as another political battleground. As an intervention, the researchers organized a professional learning community in the form of a school learning action cell (SLAC) to provide assistance to the teachers. They were then interviewed to determine the perceived effects of the intervention. Results of the study revealed that SLAC sessions contribute to the general well-being of the teachers in their view of the profession as it ‘reduced their tasks’ and ‘promoted workplace collaboration.’ On the other hand, it also impacted their pedagogy, which was found to have contributed to their ‘instructional mastery’ and ‘teacher efficacy.’ The researchers, however, caution that, though the intervention was found to be successful, it should be taken in its suggestive nature when out-of-field teaching is unavoidable. When feasible, the idyllic educational landscape ...
