We are loved into existence. To truly live, we must respond with love to "the other", including those at the margins. A personal manifesto, capping the exploration of ten metaphors leading to "life overflowing".

This action officially ends the "Two State" fiction and formally enters into the era of working for equality and justice for all the inhabitants of the complete land, whether Arabs, Druze or Jews. One Democratic Country (ODC) is the goal.

More importantly, it seeks a way forward that leads to selfless engagement with the poor and powerless who find themselves "outside" of community. It takes the Hebrew and Christian scriptures seriously, inviting a genuine relationship with the Love at the heart of the Cosmos, so mysterious yet so real (true)

It is by my Hymn Society colleague Mary Louise Bringle, to a tune I've composed, copyrighted by GIA Publishers and Hope Publishing.

It shows how he transcended barriers in his day, that have parallels in our own day. Jesus seeks a unity that is not suffocating and differences that are not divisive.

My thesis is that "God" chooses to act in nonviloent ways, seeking to turn human violence to the good of humankind, by exorcising the demons of addiction: sex, money, power and human empire.

In a recent address (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPmRHUwQ35s) Nabeel Qureshi, argues that Islam is inherently violent. As a former Muslim, during a time of questioning and inner anguish, he studied both the Quran and the Hadith (the life experiences and sayings of Muhammad), and was caught between becoming an agnostic, being a nominal Muslim; or becoming a follower of Jesus, as revealed in the Christian scriptures. It seems to me one could argue that there is a violent streak in all humans, regardless of their religious profession. We feel especially justified when our personal safety, our families, our livelihoods, our community or even our country's security is at stake. We are willing to fight for our rights against those who would hurt or even destroy us. And if we are God-fearers, we claim to the authority of " God " when we do it. (And " God " gets a really bad name!)

Kleinheksel Sr. Blasé Pascal is not the first person to point out the unique parallels between Joseph the son of Jacob and Jesus the son of Joseph. In this short essay, I elaborate on the multiple parallels between the two persons. Genesis 37 - 50 and the saga of the favored son of Jacob is the template of how God is at work in the life of Jesus, the beloved Son, in extending forgiveness to a vengeance-seeking generation.

It is addressed to Walter Hixson, a history prof at the University of Akron, USA, with whom I have been in conversation in regards to Israel/Palestine. It is a fresh articulation of the classic Christian faith, which is "my" faith as well.
The Virgin Birth as a "Seed/Word" Implant Metaphor, 2019
This paper explores the possibility of understanding the Virgin Birth as a "Metaphor".
