It follows the steps of Jesus from His arrest to His crucifixion in the Gospel of Luke. It is a study of both the supreme sacrifice of Christ to go to die for our salvation at the cross and that of our fallen human nature that is in dire need of His love and salvation.

This article seeks to study the Great Commission from the perspective and emphasis of each of the Gospels. We will consider how they synergise so as to arrive at a much fuller grasp of what our Lord has commanded us as His Church to do in His service. This study shows that the central mission that Christ has given us as His Church is discipleship and disciple-making. Yet this central commission embodies multiple dimensions.

It identifies the 9 areas of discipleship for a spiritually healthy church. These 9 areas are 9 essential spiritual disciplines that every disciple of Christ need to cultivate, practice, and live by. These 9 are not arbitrary ideas but are drawn from the study of the Bible, especially of the New Testament, and the teachings and example of Jesus Christ.

We establish, in that article, that discipleship and disciple-making was both the fundamental purpose of Jesus when He ministered on earth, and what He has commission us as His Church on earth to do. This paper is, on the one hand, elaborates on how Jesus focused on the spiritual response and commitment of those He reached out to. His ministerial goal was to find and build up those who would truly put God first in their lives. This is at the heart of the Great Commission. We characterise this as spiritual “health”. On another hand, this paper is a critique of the very popular but misleading emphasis on “growth,” in terms of size, scale, and numbers. I observe that this obstructs the disciple-making purpose of Jesus. Hence this paper is entitled, “Church Health Not Church Growth.”
A study of the teachings and ministry of Jesus Christ on marriage and divorce.

There are frequent references to the Bible. Hence, to shorten these to reduce unnecessary length and avoid seeming repetition, an abbreviation of the books of the Bible is used. The first two letters of the Bible book abbreviates the book, except when a third letter is needed to differentiate it from another book with the same beginning letters. The first number is the chapter, the numbers after the colon are the verses.
