While spreading and encouraging excellence in learning and teaching is a fundamental part of all higher education institutions, it is especially important for EURECA-PRO in the development of new programmes, courses, and educational concepts across all partner universities. This development presents an opportunity to cement and enhance excellence in teaching and learning across the alliance and to prioritise students’ educational experience.

Summary The article presents the results of the research in the field of cadastral valuation of agricultural land in Russia. It also gives an overview of the method considering land use restrictions depending on public and legal land plot encumbrances. The method is based on calculating the differentiation coefficients by Analytic Hierarchy Process. Analytic Hierarchy Process is a method of prescriptive decision theory which is similar to the cost-effectiveness analysis aiming at making complex decisions simpler and taking them more reasonably.

The present research deals with two countries—the Russian Federation and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland—as case studies. The paper serves as a brief overview of the process of the occupational standard development in both countries, illustrates the ways in which occupational standards are structured both in Russia and in the UK and traces some global trends in their use.

Researchers in Russia and other countries state that it is essential to redistribute the land tax burden as the current situation creates tax injustice, which is reflected in the undervaluation of prestigious areas and the overvaluation of non-prestigious ones in resort towns. Competition for the most prestigious areas in such towns mainly stems from the opportunity for landowners to earn higher rental incomes during the high season. In view of this, the study aims to provide a method for cadastral land valuation in resort towns based on zoning by prestige. The application of the proposed method is demonstrated using the town of Anapa (a Russian resort town by the Black Sea) as a case study. The method is based on several research and analysis methods, including the following: the analytical method, which is used for a prelim...
