Ennek érdekében górcső alá vesszük külön-külön a BIM és LCA lényegi elemeit azok integrálási folyamatából származó előnyöket és azok épületüzemeltetésében játszott szerepét, a fenntartható fejlődés szempontjából. A kutatómunka várható eredménye, a középületek üzemeltetésének optimális megoldása a fenntarthatósági célkitűzések megvalósítására.

The county of Borsod-Abauj-Zemplen is one of the most controversial regions in Hungary: despite its excellent natural and environmental potentials, its role in preserving traditional culture and its role as a umbilical cord, it is in a very difficult situation regarding the economy and social progress: its performance indicators or the indices related to sustainability and measuring human development cannot be claimed to be good. However, the positive changes in the recent period – e.g. in terms of the environmental compliance of the companies, waste emission, use of chemicals in agriculture, institutional development, programmed awareness raising and shaping attitudes in general and higher education – hold out hope. Taking advantage of ...

Many kinds of hazardous chemicals could pollute the natural water resources, arsenic is one of the most occurring pollutant in Hungary. Recently, an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer based arsenic removal adsorbent has been developed. During the manufacturing process hazardous waste water is produced, which is burned in the incineration plant, so this open production process needs fresh solvent every time. However, if the different fraction of the waste water is separated by distillation both the volume of the hazardous waste water can be reduced extremely and the recovered solvent and water can be reused in the manufacturing process. Beside analytical measurements Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (LCSA) was prepared to identify and compare the environmental, economic and social effects of the current technology and the new one. The results proved that the technology closed...

The project strengthen the partnership among the University of Miskolc and the companies operating in the region, enrich the knowledge of entrepreneurs, improve their environmental performance and help our students find jobs in the area. With the help of the communication targeted in the project sustainability can be integrated into the economic and enterprise policy of the region. In the study an attempt is made to create a new university-company partnership model in order to promote the practise of sustainability.

For this purpose, we use the State of the Future Index (SOFI) to measure and forecast the socioeconomic well-being of both the countries from 1995 to 2015. The SOFI methodology has many characteristics that are in line with the 2009 Stiglitz-Sen-Fitoussi report. We find that during 1995-1999, Slovakia had a higher overall SOFI total, signifying a higher level of well-being; subsequently, however, Hungary pulled ahead between 1999 and 2005, after which Slovakia overtook Hungary yet again. Our predictions suggest that Slovakia will continue to pull ahead in the 2015-2025 period. The areas where Hungary has scope for considerable improvement are life expectancy, GDP per capita, renewable energy resources and CO 2 emission and government debt. In some areas, both countries perform poorly: level of corruption and demographic trend. However, Hungary seems to have an advantage in R&D expenditure, unemployment level and voter turnout.
