The elderly with stroke depend on the people around them, so caregivers must be around the patien... more The elderly with stroke depend on the people around them, so caregivers must be around the patient. Its readiness to care for the elderly with a stroke can cause the treatment to be not optimal so that it pays attention to the needs of the elderly. This study aimed to determine the readiness of discharge planning in the aspect of the involvement of elderly caregivers with stroke. The study was carried out within eight months. This type of research is descriptive exploratory with a cross-sectional study design and uses a purposive sampling method for 102 respondents with criteria that match the research sample. The inclusion criteria were that the respondent is the main caregiver for the elderly with stroke. Data analysis in this study used univariate analysis and data collection tools like questionnaires. A decrease in both physiological and psychological functioning in older adults necessitates a fam... more A decrease in both physiological and psychological functioning in older adults necessitates a family's assistance to improve their health status in order to maintain the condition and care of older adults with degenerative diseases that are often experienced with hypertension. Hypertensive management consists of pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy which requires dynamic treatment. The purpose of this research is to determine the effects of family and cadre empowerment on older adults with hypertension's health status in Bali Province. The method used pre-post-test quasi experiment with control group design and it involved 62 older adult respondents and family in the province of Bali. Data was analysed by dependent and independent t-test as well as double logistic regression test. Analysis results showed there was a significant influence from the intervention on older adult health status. The multivariate test also discovered that the age of the older adult also affects the increase in older adult health status. It is expected that this program can be implemented in health services and developed into a more dynamic program.

Objective: The aim of this research is to improve the coastal tourist nursing model to improve the behaviour of the Balawista (the coastal rescuer team).The coastal tourist nursing model is a part of community nursing. Method: The design of this research is operational research with three phaseswhich are phase I problem identification, phase II model and module development andphase III the coastal tourist nursing model trial through the establishment of a coastal health post by using quantitative quasi experimental research post-test with the control group, with a cluster sampling technique.The coastal tourist nursing model was carried out on the coast of Central Kuta sub-district, Badung Regency in 118 Balawistas. The statistical test used was chi square, t-test, multiple linear regression test and General linier Model Repeated Measure (GLM-RM). Results: The results obtainedwere that the coastal tourist nursing model wasproven to affect the Balawista'sbehaviour. Therefore this model can be used as one of the health efforts based on the communitywithin the coastal community in Indonesia.

It can activate gross motor skill development in children. Objectives: To assess the effect of the Montessori method on the gross motor skill development of children aged 3-5 years. Method: This study used a quasi experimental research design with pre-test and post-test with control group. Purposive sampling was used. Sample size was 40 children consisting of 21 children in Nur Hidayah Early Chidhood Education (ECE) Centre as intervention group and 19 children in Bina Kasih I ECE Centre as control group. Research instrument was Denver Development Screening Test (DDST) II. Statistical data analysis used was the Mann-Whitney test and the Wilcoxon test. Results: Of the 40 children 23 (57.5%) were female, 32 (80%) were in the 49-60 month category and 25 (62.5%) were first children. In 35 (87.5%) the parental income was less than 795,000 Indonesian Rupaiah. There was no difference in the development of gross motor skill development of children in control and intervention group before intervention. There was no difference of the development of the gross motor skill development in early childhood (3-5 years old) before and after intervention in control group. There was a significant difference of the gross motor skill development in early childhood (3-5 years old) before and after Montessori method in intervention group (p =0.014)..

Play therapy is one of the nursing interventions that can be a method of health education in school children. Objective: To determine the effect of snakes and ladders board game with peers modelling approach in improving clean and healthy living behaviour of school children. Method: The design is quasi experimental pretest post-test with control group. Calculated sample size was 126 school chidren 6-12 years old who had a problem of lack of clean and healthy living behaviour. The researchers used simulation of snakes and ladders board game in four sessions over 1 month, staging each session for 45 minutes. Data collection tool was a questionnaire consisting of variable knowledge, attitudes, and clean and healthy living behaviour skills of school-age children. Data was analysed using the paired t-test. Results: Parental education levels were low in 56% and parental incomes were low in 58%. About 75% children had a diarrhoeal disease in past 3 months. Handwashing facilities, clean water sources, and healthy latrines were readily available in 70.5%. Knowledge about clean and healthy living behaviour children increased from 44.7% to 60.9%, child's attitude about clean and healthy living behaviour increased from 43.8% to 59.5%, skills of children of clean and healthy living behaviour increased from 41.2% to 55.7% after engaging in simulation ______________________________________

Play therapy is one of the nursing interventions that can be a method of health education in school children. Objective: To determine the effect of snakes and ladders board game with peers modelling approach in improving clean and healthy living behaviour of school children. Method: The design is quasi experimental pretest post-test with control group. Calculated sample size was 126 school chidren 6-12 years old who had a problem of lack of clean and healthy living behaviour. The researchers used simulation of snakes and ladders board game in four sessions over 1 month, staging each session for 45 minutes. Data collection tool was a questionnaire consisting of variable knowledge, attitudes, and clean and healthy living behaviour skills of school-age children. Data was analysed using the paired t-test. Results: Parental education levels were low in 56% and parental incomes were low in 58%. About 75% children had a diarrhoeal disease in past 3 months. Handwashing facilities, clean water sources, and healthy latrines were readily available in 70.5%. Knowledge about clean and healthy living behaviour children increased from 44.7% to 60.9%, child's attitude about clean and healthy living behaviour increased from 43.8% to 59.5%, skills of children of clean and healthy living behaviour increased from 41.2% to 55.7% after engaging in simulation ______________________________________
