The actuality of the compensation of the residual reactive power that arises with the 1 / 3 2018 ... more The actuality of the compensation of the residual reactive power that arises with the 1 / 3 2018 N 4 s10 non-stationary current of the power grid is shown. On the example of the computer power supply unit, the amount of residual reactive power is calculated by using a compensator with one period lag of the power grid voltage. In parallel with the general reactive power compensator, it is proposed to use an auxiliary one, which eliminates distortion of the grid current based on its predicting. It is shown that the use of the additional compensator allows reaching power factor value closed to one with a non-significant increase in the total installed capacity of the compensation system. The proposed compensation method is adapted to the presence of current pulsation of the general compensator. References 10, figures 9.

In this article, we investigate the role of recommender systems and their potential in the educat... more In this article, we investigate the role of recommender systems and their potential in the educational system. The key idea is to describe the information aggregation capabilities of a recommender system to find the best way tutoring. The recommender system presented in this article is based on building a vector space model for massive open online courses (MOOCs). We show that the resulting model can be used to effectively query semantically related courses as well as search for clusters and linear transitions between them.

That is why it is important to address the emotional aspect of generative dialogue systems. We propose to condition a neural dialogue system - a deep recurrent neural network - on response emotion, training emotion embeddings in a similar fashion to word embeddings. This way, during the response generation phase, the system can generate not only content-wise appropriate, but also having required emotional tone, utterances.

The autonomous power supply systems is a context awareness framework that aims to provide a comprehensive solution to reason about the context from the level of sensor data to the high-level situation awareness (actuator or devices). The paper describes these challenges and presents data management solutions as a module of context data analysis for the energy control system. These solutions include sensor data acquisition and time series forecasting, ontology model and context prediction model for analytical query processing past and future context data. Context prediction requires the consideration of the preliminary time series processing consists in the detection of the series values anomalous values and series smoothing. The randomness of the commutation, though, leads to the disturbances in power consumption characteristics. Keeping a record of time points and the value of the disturbances complicates the forecasting process and can lead to erroneous results. Filtration or smoothing of context time series is the necessary preliminary prediction stage for obtaining trends. Thus, the first step of the module of context data analysis is the filtration and the second step is the prediction. There are three distinct groups of smoothing: Averaging Methods moving average, weighted moving average; Exponential Smoothing Methods simple, weighted, exponential, double;Kalman filter. And three group of prediction:Interpolation linear, polynomial, spline;Extrapolation linear, polynomial, French curve, conic;Linear prediction. If the prediction value falls outside the confidence range of prediction errors, the task of regularizing sample n of the prediction method is performed. By sample regularizing we understand sample value alteration up to the value which provides the transition of prediction value to the area of confidence range. The proposed approach of regularization (adaptation) of time series for forecasting method allows reducing forecasting error from 6-5% to 2-1.5%, as the test results showed.

On the basis of the double Fourier series expression is derived two variables Kotelnikov series and Kotelnikov theorem, as well as the Nyquist theorem, is proved for the modulated signals with a limited spectrum. The basic advantages of using two variables Kotelnikov series for signal processing and generation of control sequences based are descrybing.

The current state of energy requires the development of new efficient approaches to coordinated m... more The current state of energy requires the development of new efficient approaches to coordinated management of the generation, conversion, accumulation and consumption of electrical energy in power systems of different levels, including for power systems built on the basis of the SmartGrid concept. The integration of electrical devices into a single system with the provision of a given quality of electric power consumption is achieved by using converter devices that allow the generators and consumers of energy dissimilar in the physical principle to unite in one network on the basis of the context. This system can manage large amounts of energy related data and have to be able to react in correct way when conditions real-time changes. The main goals are the construction of a context-dependent power management system that performs tasks related to forecasting and intelligent response to the actions of all electrical installations combined with converters into a single information environment for the purpose of rational energy use, operational management of normal and emergency modes of SmartGrid operation with regard to requirements for user comfort. The control system should be able to rationally manages energy, efficiently control normal and emergency conditions and to take into account the user comfort. Context-aware energy management system as a complex information processing system integrates such organization levels as: Renewable sources of energy; Power converters; Electrical devices; Digital sensors; User tasks.

Conditions to minimize fuel consumption in uninterruptible power system with diesel generator at ... more Conditions to minimize fuel consumption in uninterruptible power system with diesel generator at variable load are obtained. Estimation of fuel consumption at acceleration and braking stages of diesel generator was executed taking into account the cost of battery charge. Minimization of fuel consumption required for the transition process is achieved by adjusting the position of the fuel valves. Minimization of fuel consumption is shown for diesel generator HATZ 1D90-Supra.

Objective function takes into account not only the diesel engine characteristics of the fuel consumption, but also efficiency of power converters charge and discharge and BSS charge and discharge efficiency. An example solution for generator HATZ 1D81C was given. Dynamic engineering-economic models for real-time energy pricing control was proposed. Dynamic connection between profit, price and energy power was shown. Power generator in the proposed model oriented for received of profit and its maximization. Using the obtained model it is possible to implement generation-side real-time energy pricing control.

The integration of electrical devices into a single system with the provision of a given quality of electric power consumption is achieved by using converter devices that allow the generators and consumers of energy dissimilar in the physical principle to unite in one network on the basis of the context. This system can manage large amounts of energy related data and have to be able to react in correct way when conditions real-time changes. The main goals are the construction of a context-dependent power management system that performs tasks related to forecasting and intelligent response to the actions of all electrical installations combined with converters into a single information environment for the purpose of rational energy use, operational management of normal and emergency modes of SmartGrid operation with regard to requirements for user comfort. The control system should be able to rationally manages energy, efficiently control normal and emergency conditions and to take into account the user comfort. Context-aware energy management system as a complex information processing system integrates such organization levels as: Renewable sources of energy; Power converters; Electrical devices; Digital sensors; User tasks.

Dynamic connection between profit, price and energy power was shown. Power generator in the proposed model oriented for received of profit and its maximization. Using the obtained model it is possible to implement generation-side real-time energy pricing control.

That is why it is important to address the emotional aspect of generative dialogue systems. We propose to condition a neural dialogue system - a deep recurrent neural network - on response emotion, training emotion embeddings in a similar fashion to word embeddings. This way, during the response generation phase, the system can generate not only content-wise appropriate, but also having required emotional tone, utterances.

The current state of energy requires the development of new efficient approaches to coordinated m... more The current state of energy requires the development of new efficient approaches to coordinated management of the generation, conversion, accumulation and consumption of electrical energy in power systems of different levels, including for power systems built on the basis of the SmartGrid concept. The integration of electrical devices into a single system with the provision of a given quality of electric power consumption is achieved by using converter devices that allow the generators and consumers of energy dissimilar in the physical principle to unite in one network on the basis of the context. This system can manage large amounts of energy related data and have to be able to react in correct way when conditions real-time changes. The main goals are the construction of a context-dependent power management system that performs tasks related to forecasting and intelligent response to the actions of all electrical installations combined with converters into a single information environment for the purpose of rational energy use, operational management of normal and emergency modes of SmartGrid operation with regard to requirements for user comfort. The control system should be able to rationally manages energy, efficiently control normal and emergency conditions and to take into account the user comfort. Context-aware energy management system as a complex information processing system integrates such organization levels as: Renewable sources of energy; Power converters; Electrical devices; Digital sensors; User tasks.

The autonomous power supply systems is a context awareness framework that aims to provide a comprehensive solution to reason about the context from the level of sensor data to the high-level situation awareness (actuator or devices). The paper describes these challenges and presents data management solutions as a module of context data analysis for the energy control system. These solutions include sensor data acquisition and time series forecasting, ontology model and context prediction model for analytical query processing past and future context data. Context prediction requires the consideration of the preliminary time series processing consists in the detection of the series values anomalous values and series smoothing. The randomness of the commutation, though, leads to the disturbances in power consumption characteristics. Keeping a record of time points and the value of the disturbances complicates the forecasting process and can lead to erroneous results. Filtration or smoothing of context time series is the necessary preliminary prediction stage for obtaining trends. Thus, the first step of the module of context data analysis is the filtration and the second step is the prediction. There are three distinct groups of smoothing: Averaging Methods moving average, weighted moving average; Exponential Smoothing Methods simple, weighted, exponential, double;Kalman filter. And three group of prediction:Interpolation linear, polynomial, spline;Extrapolation linear, polynomial, French curve, conic;Linear prediction. If the prediction value falls outside the confidence range of prediction errors, the task of regularizing sample n of the prediction method is performed. By sample regularizing we understand sample value alteration up to the value which provides the transition of prediction value to the area of confidence range. The proposed approach of regularization (adaptation) of time series for forecasting method allows reducing forecasting error from 6-5% to 2-1.5%, as the test results showed.
